Kaiser Orchard Cafe

Orchard café is one of the two hospital cafeterias located at Kaiser Santa Clara. Orchard Café is conveniently located in the the courtyard of the medical offices side. Being within close proximity to all the outpatient clinics, it is common to see both an array of people in scrub attire and patients alike.
Between the two cafeterias, this location serves ‘healthier’ options. Fresh salads, breakfast, and deli options; coupled with a ‘proudly serving Starbucks coffee’ signage displayed on their windows.
If you are looking for a true Starbucks latte, you are better off walking across the street (there is a Starbucks on the corner of homestead and Lawrence within the Kyopo (?) plaza). This café serves the Starbucks beans but uses off brand syrups – making the overall taste weaker. In a pinch though, it makes a good option while waiting for your prescriptions, another doctor visit, or visiting someone in the hospital.
Keep in mind, prices here are higher than leaving the hospital! All part of the convenience :)
