I love this market a lot. It has what you need, and it’s really your typical Asian market.

I love this place, my coworkers hate me. So right as you go in, make a right. On the other side of the wall is where they have a cold bar of all the side dishes you can think of when you go to a Korean restaurant. I grabbed a few pre-packaged ones to make into my own lunch the following week. The next day, I filled my lunch box with rice and a few of these tasty treats(one of which was the spicy dried eel fish.) — which reheated in the microwave brilliantly. I hid the fishes at the bottom of my dish, so when my coworkers walked by, all they saw was rice and veggies. They were too kind to not complain. I had the tastiest lunch for the next week! They also have a great housewares section. Definitely worth perusing. Pro-tip: food samples are to the left when you enter the store, and be careful with the aggressive food samplers.

My new favorite KR supermarket! It has everything KR that you need for a Korean dish. Chanced upon this supermarket as we were hunting for some snack after a visit to the Sunnyvale History Museum. The awesome sweet potato stall led us here. The supermarket was cleaned, considerably organized and a nice overall experience. They have a fresh seafood and meat section, which surprisingly did not make the place stink. They have a Korean side dishes station, where you can buy small quantities of pre made side dish. Perfect for individuals or couples. They are decently priced too. You will find all the stuff that Korean love. Kimchi, bulgogi sauce, sesame oil, half of an aisle dedicated to seaweed, side dishes, BBQ pots and pans, the awesome Korean instant noodles and more. We bought a ton of groceries probably more than what we really should. The Korean snacks are just too luring. Definitely going to have this in my bookmark places to go to. Will certainly be back.

This is a medium sized Korean grocery store that carries all the basics you’re going to need for the home and then some. Towards the back, right side of the store there’s a beauty area, a home area(where they sell pillows and clothing), and a jewelry store. These other areas seems to be autonomous from the actual grocery store as they have their own names and workers. Towards the back part of the store there is a meat area that looks fairly fresh. All the vegetables were decently priced. Some things are a little more expensive but definitely competitive to other Asian markets and Safeway. Their dry foods area(ramen) was my favorite area because they carried really strange items, imported from Korea, for really low prices. Their shin ramen 6 pack was only 4.99 whereas in other places I’ve seen it for as expensive as 8.99. 5 minimum for card purchases.

The grocery store in this little Korean mini-mall has a really good selection of very authentic Korean food, snacks, and other goodies. They’re knowledgeable and pretty willing to help out if you’re having trouble finding something. I’d definitely choose this place if I needed any other Korean stuff.

The only reason I came here all the way from San Francisco, to get my BBQ sauce. I couldn’t find it anywhere else. However, last time I was here, I found the sauce, lots of them. But they are soon to be expired, like a month. So, I didn’t get it this time. Too bad!

This place has changed a lot. Hopefully they will get some new places to eat in here in which they want to be. Definately not their best foot forward.

Good smaller Korean market. Had all the fundamental items. Had a small banchan area. Box of noodles are $ 1 cheaper here. Parking is ok.

Small market, great price, close to my home I don’t have to buy lots of grocery during weekends now, I can just grab a few things I need from them during weekdays. Very convenient for me. The restaurant in the market have the best price and quality Korean food! I always get togos

Of the«big three» Korean supermarkets in South Bay K-town, Galleria seems to be smaller and a bit cramped compared to other two(Super Kyo-po and Hankook). You can still get all kinds of Korean products and groceries here, but perhaps not as huge a selection of different brands and varieties. The produce section here seems smaller. On the right hand side of the market(after you enter) there’s an eatery selling kimbap and other Korean foods for takeout or to eat on site — there are some tables there to sit. This area also sells more of the household goods, like pillow and blankets and slippers, cups, bowls, pots, etc. This section is also where they have the giant jars of kimchi(for those of who go through it weekly). In the back of the main part of the store is where the fresh seafood and fresh meats are sold. The location is probably the best thing about this particular Korean supermarket. It’s at Lawrence Expressway and El Camino Real. It’s conveniently right there when you exit the expressway to get onto El Camino Real. It’s located in a shopping plaza shared with a Chili’s restaurant, a large furniture store, Paris Baguette, Jang Su Jang, and the Lawrence Plaza Food Court. The parking lot is huge. But ever since the Food Court opened, finding parking on weekends and some weeknights and at lunchtime can be tough, but with such a large lot, you eventually find a space. Because it’s located within walking distance of the Food Court, I think a lot of people eat there and swing by Galleria to grocery shop.

Once I finished eating at Jang Su Jang, I walked along the strip mall to take a look at the stores. This grocery has plenty to offer, with a great meat and fish section. Their produce was not very good. It seemed as bad as the meat and fish are good. I’m thankful that I’d already eaten. I would have bought too much, except of course, for the produce. Their prices are reasonable but it’s unfortunate that I’d been shopping at Han Kook market just a bit before that.

One of my go-to-stores when I need ingredients for making Korean dishes. They don’t have the greatest selection of different brands, but they do carry a lot of the basics for what you need at an affordable price. If you want more selection of let’s say different types of soy sauce, go to HanKook across the way(more choices, but more pricey). The only other reason that makes this place subpar to HanGook is that the veggie selection is not as green or fresh looking as how HanKook makes theirs look. I’ll usually stop here to pick up my groceries before going to HanKook to find whatever I couldn’t find at the Galleria.

Pretty good Asian market, carry a lot of different types of ethnic Asian food, grocery, vegetables and stuff. Does he smell as nearly as fishy as other markets do. As a matter of fact, there Fish Department is quite clean. Although it is a bit pricey.

Not a typical store for me… but we decided to walk around this shopping center and we checked out this market. I had a great time looking around and seeing items I would never see at an American grocery store. The produce section has a huge variety of produce that you cant get at Safeway or Lucky. The sodas were so different and fun. There is a seamstress, and a some sort of medicine doctor set up in there, and they even sell bedding. Awesome place to visit. We literally spent about an hour in there.

I’ve been shopping here for several years. The employees that I’ve encountered have been silent — not always a good thing, because this past Sunday, one of the employees came around the corner with a stack of boxes on a dolly and narrowly missed hitting a shopper in the same aisle as me, and she couldn’t hear him approaching until the last minute. Even when she called out in surprise, he remained silent. There was a good selection of unagi, masago, and tobiko. They also carry some banchan, some organic produce, and a decent selection of miso, kimchi, and hot pepper paste. The produce was fresh. There was a good variety of frozen food. In the kitchenware section, some of the cookware was labeled«Made in Korea». Some of the bath accessories were labeled«Made in Japan». I’m so used to seeing«Made in China» on products everywhere I go, so this was nice to see. The cilantro was 79 cents per bunch. I got seaweed salad for $ 7.99 a pound, which was saltier than it used to be. The teriyaki unagi that I got was $ 6.99. I was a bit worried when I saw that the unagi was labeled as packed on the 13th and still being sold on the 17th; thankfully, I didn’t get any food poisoning. The cashier that I got was silent, as usual. She slammed the credit card slip on the payment counter as she handed the shopper in front of me a pen. When it was my turn, she did the same thing. The parking is crazy during peak times. I try to get here by 11AM on weekends, and I park far away from the store to avoid crowds. In the same shopping center as Paris Baguette and Jang Su Jang.

I’ve been shopping at galleria since I can remember. It’s one of my favorite Korean markets and just wish I lived closer. We will make our occasional trips out here and this place is always a staple. You can find all of your korean needs here. The prices are reasonable and the produce is fresh. I love how they threw in some ladies at the front sampling items throughout the day. The store is quite large and I could easily spend an hour here. One of my faves…4 stars.

Great little market. It can be a little cluttered, but what Asian market isn’t? I found my kewpie mayo here :) Korean slant, obviously, with a few Japanese items. For the uninitiated, this place isn’t just another ranch99, lion, not marina… Yes, these all have their own distinct focus.

This place is like a Korean food cafeteria where the food is better than the crap you would find in local mall around the bay area. The staff who work here are meh, but the food is affordable, cheap and tasty. Its nice that there is a local Korean community developing in Santa Clara, sort of like a NorCal Koreatown, but not as well known as the one in Los Angeles. There is a Korean grocery store here and multiple Kbbq restaurants in the same plaza. Parking can get hectic during the day too. Park at your own risk.

This Santa Clara Korean market is located in the Lawrence Plaza. And if many of you know that plaza, the market is located next door to Paris Baguette. But this market is not even as nice or cleaner as Hankook Market, located up the road on El Camino Real on the city of Sunnyvale side. The market has several different shared businesses in the same market. The market also has a meat market, bakery, gift shops and deli. I was at the market’s deli for my lunch and ordered the a package of Garlic Chicken and Jap Chae for a total of $ 12.00(no tax): For a later snack, I bought a package of fresh dumplings from the Jimji Dumpling shop. The $ 4.50 packaged dumpling had chicken, pork, chives and onions wrapped in a dough blanket. Those fresh dumplings also stank up my car. But the dumpling tasted very hearty after steaming them in stove at home. My package dumpling: And one unique item I bought from the gift shop for $ 10. I hope many of you are nice to me and you will get rewarded. My item: I am not lying either and did bought that tee shirt!
