Tuesday Morning

I like this place. It’s simple. Basic. And there are a few deals.
Tuesday Morning was recommended to me by a friend helping me get settled in Santa Barbara. If I had the patience I could see coming back to this store quite a bit for kitchen, bath, and bedrooms.
As another reviewer already mentioned, not every item is a bargain, but they exist here.

Tuesday Morning is a great place to find good bargains, but not everything is a bargain. You still have to shop. Usually the service is fast and friendly. Today I went to buy something. There were two registers. I went to the unoccupied register. The man there told me to go to the other register, where there was already a customer. The customer kept changing her mind and the young girl cashier was having trouble accommodating her. The cashier asked the man (obviously the manager) to help her. Then the customer decided not to buy what she had purchased and wanted a refund. The cashier girl had to call the manager over again. By that time, I was tired of waiting and left. The manager should have checked me out rather than making me wait. He should have taken over when the cashier started to have trouble with the customer. Instead he wound up to two irritated customers.

Ok, so my mom-​in-​law is a fan of Tuesday Morning so when we saw one in Santa Barbara, we had to take a look.
Tuesday Morning is like a boutique Pic-​N-​Save/​Big Lots… a whole host of different stuff from baby toys to dish sets to camping gear to space saver bags everything in between.
This particular store is right off State St. and down some stairs. The sign out front is pretty noticeable from State St.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and we found some great deals on a few things. If you’re a bargain hunter, it’s definitely worth a stop in!
