My buddies and I travel the country on our Motorcycles so a big meal is key. The food here is excellent and the service is to match. Louie was the on duty manager for our TaffysPizza visit and he was awesome! Very personable and outgoing. Thanks Louie, #thelostboys

I placed my order online and the email confirmation said it would be ready in 1.5 hours. I called to confirm it would actually take that long and they told me it was accurate. I arrived when I was told it would be done. They couldn’t find my pizza, and finally found it sitting on the shelf. My pizza was stone cold and I don’t know how long it had been sitting there. I also ordered a Caesar salad which according to the menu comes with bread sticks. There were none with my salad and when I asked they simply told me they didn’t have any. They forgot to give me the dressing on the side as I had requested on my order. I had to ask for it again, and it was the worst Caesar dressing I have ever tasted. Overall it was a bad experience, and I feel it is really overpriced for what you are getting. I paid 18 bucks for a cold, mediocre pizza that I had to wait 1.5 hours for.

I ordered a pizza & bread sticks Never received my breadsticks All of the customers were pretty upset Everyone was asking for their breadsticks And I think it’s the manager he said that their will be no more breadsticks because the oven is full To top it all off it took about 40 min to get out pizza we really wanted to ask for our money back never again

My first time here. I wanted to like it more, I really did. Fresh ingredients, good reviews, casual atmosphere, and close to home. However, the pizza(Romano) was bland, there were no condiments offered or available, and although a plate was offered, it was never delivered. In fact, once the pizza was dropped off, nobody ever came back. I mentioned I’d never been before, so it might have been beneficial to explain how things ‘work’. And plates. Plates and silverware are good. Nice, casual atmosphere, good wine. Okay pizza. Maybe better for lunch than dinner? Not sure why tipping is an option since it’s more counter /self serve. May give it another try since my experience was so different from the previous reviews. Maybe for lunch.

My first experience here was really great. The owner Casey made me feel welcomed. He started talking to me and a friend as if we had know each other for a while. He was telling us that they try to serve local beers and wines. I didn’t order pizza or any food because I just had gone with my friend to grab a beer. They have Prohibition, 805, and they also have Figueroa Mountain Hoppy Poppy(they do have other beers). We had the breadsticks and they are amazing with the ranch on the side. Taffy’s Pizza has a family oriented feel. Kids are more than welcomed. They have a big patio and it’s a great place to have a pizza party. It’s locally owned and they try and support local businesses as well. I do need to go back and order more breadsticks, pizza and their award winning chicken wings. Casey told us that they were not expecting to win the competition for their chicken wings. It came to them as a surprise since they were competing with other well known places in Santa Barbara. I am definitely coming back.

Great place for lunch if you’re staying in this area. The dry rub wings are really good, we also had the regular size pepperoni pizza which I also thought to be good. The dough is fresh and they oven cook their pizzas. Oh and they have great local beers.

I’ve come to Taffy’s a handful of times and the pizza has always been great. I have yet to try one of their sandwiches but I hear great things from a friend who works in the area and comes here often. What I love about Taffy’s is that they are so darn friendly, from the second they answer the phone to take your order. Everyone working their smiles and makes you feel welcome. And they are very generous with the ranch and accouterments… much appreciated! Keep up the FANTASTICCUSTOMERSERVICE!

My daughter and son on law had their rehearsal dinner there for both families to get better acquainted in a relaxed setting. This was perfect. The food and staff were amazing! I highly recommend this as a must stop when in Santa Barbara! You won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to taffies for a very long time and I used to live right around the corner so I used to coming here for lunch 3 to 4 times a week for a a while and I love sitting out on the patio on a warm day and just taking my time eating a nice Caesar salad followed by some breadsticks and either lasagna a sandwich or pizza. I will say though that there are a lot of new pizza places in Santa Barbara that are very good and they are much better than taffy’s but it still is a local favorite of mine and everyone is always really nice when I go in there, I also like the location being a little bit off the beaten path of State Street

I used to frequent this place a lot. The wings are great when they have them. The staff is super friendly and helpful all accept for the big guy with the terrible attitude in the kitchen. I work in the service industry so I know how it goes but you can’t be rude to customers or rude to coworkers especially in front of customers. The kitchen is not for everyone. That guy and his employer need to think about this.

I’ve been living in Santa Barbara for over 25 years. I went to Taffy’s Pizza when I first arrived, started on the carousel of restaurants around Santa Barbara area, and have just recently rediscovered this hidden gem. My wife and I found the food delicious and filling, the service cheerful and helpful, the environment family and sports friendly, and the menu priced right.

On our way from Big Sur back to So Cal recently, we happened upon this place looking for some dinner before going to eat at McConnells Ice Cream on Mission Street. It was wonderful! The bread sticks were great, and the pizza was thick and cheesy, with a tasty crust. What a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also, it looks like it is in an actual old house, with lots of light and garden outdoor space to eat. I imagine we were eating in the original dining room or living room. The ambience for a summer evening was great. From now on, every time I stop in Santa Barbara, I will make it a point to pick up some pizza from Taffy’s.

Wish I could say I loved the food more, but it was only okay. Nothing bad, but nothing great. Had a Tri Tip with Salsa Sandwich, salad, breadsticks and pepperoni pizza. The Sandwich was good but wasn’t the tradition Tri Tip sandwich I like. The salsa tasted more like tomato sauce on the pizza. The breadsticks were good but came out last. Pizza was just mediocre. Thinner crust than I like. Sauce was a little too fake for my taste. The staff was very nice and helpful. Apologized for my breadsticks coming out last, but gave us a few more for the wait. Outdoor patio is awesome. I had no idea it was there, the pizza place always looked small from the outside but it is very large inside. Would be a great place for kids to hang out on the patio, they even have cute tiny chairs for them.

Average. Nothing was horrible, everything tasted ok, the place was clean so no major causes for concern. I’m just wowed by the food. $ 29 for lunch for two adults and a toddler seems too steep for the quality and flavor of the food we got. The personal pizza was a nice size but overwhelmed by grease. I could have purchased dough and all the toppings and feed the 3 of us for under the cost of one personal pizza here. Aside from the cost the pizza wasn’t all that great. It was just«ok». The Caesar Salad had way to much cheese. I like cheese, but wow. That’s all I could taste. The dressing was flavorless or masked by the cheese, not sure which. The trip-tip sandwich was fine. All in all. Not what I remembered as a kid and I won’t likely come back.

I stopped into Taffy’s this weekend and has the good fortune of trying out the Tri-Tip sandwich. I was left speechless. Charles, the chef made me something that woke up my taste buds while blowing my mind. I’ve had Tri-Tip sandwiches before but his was a cut above. The layers of ingredients created a synergy of flavor that everyone needs to try at least once. First off, the buttered, toasted bun was spectacular. The cheese skirt gave the right amount of saltiness while fried Jalapenos delivered the correct amount of heat. What sealed the deal for me was how tender and not chewy the thinly cut tri tip was. The guacamole was fresh and the Cilantro Chimichurri didn’t over power the other flavors. If you pass by Taffy’s you have to stop in and order this sandwich. You owe yourself the experience.
