Love this place. Food is amazing! Very authentic. And the price is very affordable. Will be back soon.

There are quite a few Mexican restaurants in this neighborhood, but is by far the best one. Service is friendly, the outdoor patio is comfy and the food is delicious. Try the mole enchiladas(and a Pacifico with lime!) or the chilaquiles verdes for a guaranteed good time!

Love this local gem. Great food. Inexpensive and super friendly owner! West side hidden treasure, way better than el zarape or super cucas!

I am currently on a search for superb chilaquiles. This place is consistently outstanding, and not just the chilaquiles, but the entire menu. Tito and Wyatt have their heads up their ass. Su Casa is consistent, it is home made, and it is not processed.

Definitely my favorite Mexican food place to go. Everything on the menus is great. The chicken enchiladas are my new favorite thing to get here at the moment. The two cooks are really amazing and friendly.

We thought we would try this neighborhood restaurant for something different. The person behind the counter(assume he was the cook, dishwasher, waiter, the whole staff of one). He was very pleasant and that’s about where it ends. The premises were not very clean and the food did not taste fresh. We asked for fresh chips as what was served were stale and the salsas are nothing to write home about. You can do a lot better in the Santa Barbara area than this place.

Good overall taste to the food but can be a bit inconsistent. I really like the enchiladas though. Good prices, pretty authentic flavors. Most of the times I’ve been there the guy taking orders didn’t speak much English and I spoke little Spanish, I’d always get the correct order but sometimes I’d get additional stuff I didn’t think I ordered. There are a number of better spots around sb but this will do in a pinch if you have no way of getting to Lillie’s downtown or la sups rica on the east side.

I’d come back. lets put that way… I must be spoiled on taquerias, unless you can see lots of true home cooking going on… sadly Su Casa seemed less home cooked and more processed. It had that tradtional cheap eats SLO motif with some very nice staff. I would suggest making all their foods just jump with flavor, as one might find on other quick eats places. but for some reason both tacos and burrito didn’t see all that stand-outish.

Sorry to disagree with higher marks from other reviewers, but my wife and I were unimpressed. The Fish Tacos appetizer was greesy and seemed like it had been cooked previously(and perhaps reheated), the house special Grande Burrito had very little meat and no Guacamole that we could find despite having paid extra for it and so consisting almost solely of beans and cream and it didn’t hold together well; and, the Carnitas dinner plate we ordered the pork again seemed old and cut from the worst end part. The Beer was also pricey. Finally, when it came time to pay the bill, they tried to overcharge us for the Fish Taco, until I showed him the price on the menu(as if he didn’t know — probably having worked there for years). So many other choices in SB — won’t be back.

Pretty authentic Mexican food. Heard the chicken mole is good here but haven’t tried it yet. I got the carnitas nachos and they were huge. Carnitas had little bits of fatty parts stuck to it so my bf enjoyed those parts. Pretty good price too, about $ 6.00. The enchiladas are pretty tasty. I like the red sauce they use. A little on the greasy side but I don’t come here for a healthy meal so it’s expected. Overall, a good place to go to for a wide and fairly tasty selection.

Awesome and flavorful burritos! I didn’t go in but while I was in SB, my friend went to the store and stopped by there to get some grub before heading back to his dad’s place in SB. He ordered 3 burritos with a side of beans and rice. The food was quite tasty and good and would rank up there amongst my favorite Mexican restaurants. The chips were pretty good too. The salsas were alright and runny. They were both mild and would like them more spicy. I didn’t give it the 5th star because it is the first time I’ve eaten there and needed to try it out a couple more times before doing so. Plus I would need to go in there myself!

I love Su Casa. The fish tacos are deep fried and delciouso! I’ve had pretty much everything and I really like the salsa bar too. Lots of hispanic clientele — muy authentico!

I guess most folk walking over Micheltorena either stop at Super Cucas or El Zarape, but the more is the pity. This place is wonderful — a large outdoor seating area, and incredibly friendly staff. The food also goes far beyond the standard Taquieria fare. The chicken mole I had was superb. A relaxed, mellow atmosphere with great food. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
