In my opinion, the pizza is about a 3 but since they offer vegan ingredients I’ll bump it up to a 4! Love all their options. However, skip the Margarita Pizza and get one of their signature pizzas instead.

Great selection of toppings and the crust is almost always good. Depending on how busy they are and who happens to be working there is some inconsistency in the make up of the pizzas when you order a «named» combination. The ingredients are always correct but the ratios can vary. It can get crowded in the dining area so we always call ahead for pick up. The«white house» is a favorite if you like cilantro, just the right combination.

One of the best gluten-free pizza’s I’ve had in 15 years. Have had pizzas in Chicago, New York, and other states, and this was one of the best!

Really great pizza! We had the bhodi BBQ and it was very good. Great sauce and meat. Probably the best(american) pizza I’ve ever had! I love it!

The food is AMAZING and my body feels fine afterwards, usually puzza upsets my stomach but Puzza Guru uses real ingredients and it tastes super great! However, the employees are very unfriendly. I work in the service industry, and it’s always a downer when I go to be served and the employees are cold and can’t even smile.

Santa Barbara is lacking in restaurants with vegan options, so to me this place is a gem! They use Daiya cheese on their vegan pizza, which melts and stretches like real cheese. They also have many vegan toppings to choose from. So far I’ve had a pizza with jalapeños and soy chorizo, and artichokes with sundried tomatoes! Both were delicious and I am excited to try more!

This place is really delicious. The White House pizza is great(minus the sun-dried tomatoes… but whatever). I also got one of their calzones and that was probably the most delicious thing I’ve ever had. The medium size is huge so you can definitely share. Caesar salad is on point with delicious croutons, and the Parmesan cheese is sooooo good! Thick slices are always a must for my Caesar!

This is the best pizza! Always so fresh and everything is made with organic ingredients so my stomach is never upset after. You definitely get your moneys worth too because I always take home leftover with the kids portion!

Ordered the white house and euphoria also ordered the Greek salad and the cranberry almond salad with goat cheese. These were on different occasions while I was working in the area consistent each time. I love the eclectic menu and fresh variety of toppings.

This place is a vegan pizza lover’s dream. They have a whole selection of vegan ingredients to choose from — including cheese! Any pizza on their menu can be made vegan friendly with vegan meat and cheese. The only reason I give Pizza Guru 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was a little less than friendly the first time I went. They were a little understaffed and were only friendly after seeing us clean our own table when we left. TIP: Go during their happy hour — they have a 1 topping pizza and pitcher of beer deal for only $ 20.

DONOTGETDELIVERY! When I called, the price was about 10 dollars more than expected. When I noted that the prices on the menu on their website were not up to date, the woman on the phone was very rude stating that they have been like that for while and she sounded very annoyed with me. It’s not my fault the menu is not up to date and I think they might be obligated to honor that price. After the order, she told me the pizza would be ready with in the hour, when asked what does that mean, roughly how many minutes, once again she sounded annoyed and repeated«With in the hour.» 50 minutes later my pizza arrived cold with very little dressing for the salad. For 40 bucks, that is awful bang for my buck! Pizza is good but expensive, order in or get pick up. Because that is a good experience. Stay away from delivery!

Best gluten free crust I’ve tasted. I had the White House specialty pizza on a gf crust & it was amazing! I wish they served this pizza closer to my home.

The Guru Pizza-tandoori chicken, perfect crust, Belgian white Ale, slightly warm room temp. Couldn’t ask for anything more. All the local UCSB dudes next table nod in agreement.

I want to like this place more than I do because I think they’ve got a great niche with their unique flavors and organic pizzas. They seem competitively priced and the staff is nice, but the lines are long and the seating comes at a premium during peak meal hours. Plus, regardless of all the toppings the pizzas taste somewhat bland… how does that happen?

We stopped here on the way home from Santa Yenz wine country and couldn’t have been more pleased. It is just a short way off the freeway and we had quick service. The pizza is delicious and flavors are super innovative. You can tell they use really great ingredients. My fiancé and I split a medium Guru Special which had tandoori chicken and lots of cilantro. I highly recommend also getting a side of ranch. There is a fairly large parking lot and appeared to be quite a bit of street parking as well. The restrooms were clean and staff was friendly. Overall it was a really great experience.

I’m a sucker for pizza places that offer vegan options and Pizza Guru brings its A game! So much so that I wasn’t even sure where to start. They offer specialty veggie pizzas which can be made vegan. You can also build your own pizza in which they offer about seven specialty vegan ingredients on top of the large variety of veggies. It didn’t end there. When I spoke with the friendly guy taking our order, he informed me that the specialty veggie pizzas are not the only ones that can be veganized. Pretty much anything can be made vegan as long as they had a vegan substitute. Well shoot, what’s a libra-gal with so many choices supposed to do? Initially I ordered the Mediterranean pizza. Pesto, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, tomato, spinach, daiya mozzarella… that sounded pretty straight forward. The BF ordered something meaty, cheesy, and creamy. We paid for our pizzas and took a seat on the front patio. I continued perusing the menu when the cashier’s voice resonated in my head. Any specialty pizza can be veganized, huh? I looked over at all the specialty vegan ingredients. It wasn’t long until I started feeling buyers remorse. I went back to the counter and asked if it was too late to change my order. Luckily they hadn’t started on my pizza yet. So I ordered the One With Everything, vegan-style. No regrets! It came with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and pizza sauce. The rest of the ingredients were replaced. Here’s how they veganized it: — sub the garlic white sauce for vegan garlic white sauce — sub the Canadian bacon for Meatless Gourmet Canadian«bacon» — sub the pepperoni for Meatless Gourmet«pepperoni» — sub the applewood bacon for soy bacon bits — sub the mozzarella for Daiya mozzarella — they didn’t have a vegan option for sausage but they offered a marinated tofu. I just told them to skip it. Pretty legit pizza! I almost couldn’t taste a few of the ingredients, such as the vegan garlic white sauce or the soy bacon bits, even though I could see it on my pizza. But I suppose that’s my fault for ordering something with so many toppings. I wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had but I give them a lot of credit for being vegan friendly. The Meateater BF however looked pretty euphoric with his pizza. Which is appropriate since he ordered the Euphoria Pizza. I’d be shocked if he didn’t write a special tribute Unilocal review about his pizza ;P I’m a fan for sure but next time I’ll learn to limit my toppings and create my own :)

Pros: excellent pizza! Very surprised! Yummy salads too! We ordered the Greek Salad $ 8& White House Pizza $ 19 and a kids cheese $ 7 plus soda & ranch was about $ 40 which is usually more than I want to spend but was worth it! Cons: prices are a little high to come back to too much when you are a family of 5. Other than that it was pretty bomb! Very kid friendly and there are kids tables & toys for them to play while waiting.

Decent GF pizza, but I prefer Ca Daria. This pizza’s crust was rather hard to saw through with my butter knife. We asked for generous amounts of cheese and were assured that they always put a lot of mozzarella on their pizzas. Not. Got a pepperoni and it was fine, but nothing I’d come back for, nothing special, just okay. Some of the other non GF pizzas looked huge and delicious, but I didn’t get to try those.

Great pizza with good beer. Stopped in and we got a large. Pizza, half Euphoria and half guru special. Then euphoria was my pick so biased but I was incredibly. Impressed. Tri tip on a white pizza with Gorgonzola? Thank you. It isn’t cheap but it is a great treat when you’re looking for a great pizza beyond your run of the mill locales. Make sure you use the Santa Barbara seasoning. Garlic based seasoning that should be put on everything.

For a pizza place this place was great. My niece is vegan so we can all eat here and get the exact pizza we want. They have great draft beers and wine. Everyone there was nice and friendly. We will def eat here again.
