I came here on Valentine’s Day during a visit from out of town. I love it! Service: Everyone was so sweet and nice to us. The service was pretty slow. I figured it was Valentine’s Day, but then I noticed the tables seated after us were getting their food(same dishes we ordered). I had a feeling our server forgot about us. I’m not deducting points because she was super nice and apologetic about it. I’m sure it was a hectic night for them. Food: Amazing! My favorites were the honey lamb pops, flauta, and the burrata. Everything was so good that I kept stuffing my face even though I was in pain, serious pain. The night was made even better by their unisex restrooms. While in line, the gentleman in front of me looked confused at the unisex symbol and turned to me to say«I don’t know what to do.» I’m not sure what was more painful — the last piece of flauta I pushed into me or the laughter at his confusion.

Remains one of my favorites in Santa Barbara, partly because they serve food until late. The«tapas» are sizable portions, but creative and very tasty. The atmosphere is cool and service always kind and relaxed. Try the cocktails, but the wines are excellent too.

One of my favorite places to have a Moscow Mule! They add a slice of cucumber and orange that give it just that little extra flavor. They also have a very good happy hour selection of drinks and tapas. I ordered the chorizo bites and loved them. I have been here several times and always have a good experience. The waitstaff is very helpful and the ambiance is very relaxing. It’s a must stop for anyone looking for a drink and a small bite.

This place met my expectations and I will say they enter quite high based on other reviews. I think the charcuterie board was a killer deal at 15 and only need some honey or a tapenade to make it 5 stars. The beet salads vinaigrette was delicious and the pork sliders had a kick that I enjoyed. The coffee desert be and the bf shared made it a completely delicious experience, we shall return next time we visit beautiful Santa Barbra!

Heard great things about this place from my friend in LA so gave it a shot. Love tapas style since you have try more for less. Décor — so cute and a great date spot. A little loud but that’s ok. It’s super tiny in there. Food– 1. Burrrata salad — good but I’ve had better. I order it everywhere and it was just missing something. Maybe pesto? Also needs a little salt. 2. Lamb — delicious! Had caramelized onions on it 3. Chicken enchiladas(bf’s pick) — great flavor and spicy 4. Pork slides– super tasty. Definitely a must 5. Prosciutto wrapped goat cheese — ORDERTHIS!!! so good and now I have to figure out how to make it Drinks — good but nothing special. Someone recommended the coconut mojito and it felt like a milkshake instead. Service — great!

Great tapas and solid cocktails. I loved the balanced and full flavors of everything. For drinks, I got the Heat of Passion(habenero and passion fruit margarita), which was awesome. My wife got the highly-touted coconut mojito, which started off kinda meh, but opened up a lot more and got even more delicious as the night went on. Rum was kinda on the lighter side for me, but perfect for her taste. For food, we had the mushrooms(with garlic and parsley), the OMG salad, chorizo bites, gamba with chipotle cream(prawns), and PB&J sliders. That last one was the most interesting one, and it worked really well for me. The salad was nothing special other than the name, but everything else was a hit. Will definitely come back here next time we are in town! Service was great and it wasn’t too hard to get a reservation on a Friday night.

This place is my go to when I bring friends out of town. More like a tapas bar, this place has dim lighting — which I personally like — a bar and a big selection of appetizers. Since the portions are smaller(no dinner entries) we tend to order a lot and share everything so everyone can taste it all. EVERYTHINGISGOOD. The drinks are Fresh and they aren’t stingy on the alcohol. Outdoor fire place is My fave. Make reservations to guarantee you have a table and be on time.

Monday night — way more crowded than I would have thought. Good for them. Thankful we had a reservation. Enjoyed the menu — most items were winners. Ahi tuna tartar was fresh and good. Cauliflower dish was creamy and yummy; kale chips were good but slightly too oily. Salmon was good but ever so slightly overcooked. Pulled pork bbq sliders and chorizo were excellent. Avocado hummus was good. The Coconut mojito came with a real sugar cane stirrer… yum! Lovely server who actually did remember everything even though nothing was written down(sorry but I do still hate that even though sooo many restaurants do it) and tried to placate my dad who couldn’t get a canadian whiskey to save his life. Would definitely come back.

Really great place with kitchen open till late. We were desperately trying to find food around 11 on the day after Christmas. Everything else around this place that we as open was food truck/food window kind of stuff. Not only was this place open, the waitress was really good and she even helped us decide on the food quantity. Warm place with warm hearted server! Must go!

We stopped into this charming place on my bf birthday and immediately felt like home in such a charming and wonderful place! It has been almost a year but I just recently found a note I wrote abt how wonderful this place is and thought better late than never! Julia was so kind and helpful! The green eggs and ham salad is unforgettable, I hope they still serve it! Perhaps we will go back again this year to find out!

It’s been a while since I’ve been here but my friend took me with her for a girl’s night dinner. I absolutely have to recommend their beet salad. It sounds simple but it’s the best thing in the world!!!

A great place to grab a snack and a drink. Happy hour is during 5−7pm. The portions are very small, so come prepared to order a lot. I tried the salmon and the flavor was amazing! The only down side is that since the portions are so small, its hard to get full off one plate. I would also recommend ordering the potatoes and the mojito! :)

Milk and Honey is such a fun experience for tapas and cocktails. The only reason I don’t go here more often is it is a little expense. My friend and I share 4 tapas and 4 cocktails(2 drinks each) and my portion of the bill was ~$ 60 w/tip. However, the atmosphere and food are fun. We got a pb&j slider that was surprisingly yummy!

Every time i am in Santa Barbara i go there, the vibe is nice and mellow and their drinks are pretty darn good. I love their old school cartoons playing in the back ground, always makes me nostalgic.

This place makes the BEST mixed drinks in town! everything is freshly made. Try the mojitos! You will not regret it! The Classic Old fashioned, Proper Whiskey & Paper Plane are also my favorites. Food: Date with a Pig, Prosciutto Bundles, PB& J Sliders, Lamburginis & Chickenchiladas are my favorites… but everything is good-so I would be surprised if what you got wasn’t. What is good about this place is the plates are small, so you get 3 plates at least per 2 people. That way you can try many things in one seating! I must say I do miss the wooden human figures they used to have, they were so much fun to play with. Have fun!

Visiting from Orange County, CA(this is relevant later) and found this place on Unilocal. First impressions is how romantic and unique the restaurant is. Dark interior with wood accents and candles. Love! Immediately greeted by a very sweet, peppy hostess who was very helpful. My boyfriend and I turned to each other and literally said, «are people really this nice in Santa Barbara? Are we jaded from OC?» The kind service didn’t stop there. The waitress was sweet and helpful — she pointed out some of her favorites because we were first timers. Her selections did not disappoint. We ordered an Old Fashioned, Honey Lavender Drop, charcuterie plate(called a Picada), and«I Like Pig Butts»(Pulled pork in a habanero bbq sauce, Swiss cheese, and a Hawaiian roll). The sliders melt in your mouth and are full of flavor, the charcuterie was unique and fresh, and the drinks were well made and strong. Deducting one star because service was a bit slow, but we still had a great time and will come back when we visit Santa Barbara!

This place came highly recommended by all the locals that we went wine tasting with, and they weren’t wrong! It’s a cool little spot with a tapas style menu. All the food we got was super delicious. And it was the perfect amount to sober us up after hitting 7 different wineries! And the staff were super cool and hooked it up with dessert!

I’ve been to Milk and Honey numerous of times and I am never disappointed. The atmosphere is funky and retro; they always have vintage cartoons playing and rotate local artwork. I’ve never once had a bad experience with service. My server went out of her way to stuff blue cheese in my martini’s olives(which = a fat tip, thank you!). The food is served tapas style. The portions are small so you can order several items, which allows for consumption of a wide range of amazing flavors and dishes. Two things I always order is the lamp pops and Lamburghini’s. They are truly divine. Milk and Honey is open late and they also accommodate reservations for larger groups. The outside patio is small and romantic. If you looking for outstanding service and incredible food then I highly recommend this place.

Great food and drinks! Very large menu to chose from and you could close yours eyes and point at an item without being disappointed! Also they serve moscow mukes in the copper tins which are great! Old cartoons playing above the bar gives a light and fun atmosphere!
