Villa Wine Bar And kitchen

I have been buying wine at Vino Divino for years a very small shop, yet rare wines. I would stop by at times to buy wine, but not often. over the years I started to go by more often, just to find out they were great. guess what, just found out, they own Villa Wine Bar and Kitchen. Fine wine and craft beer, small production, just up my alley. ok, its a small world.

I first went to Villa Wine Bar & Kitchen right after they had just opened about a year and a half ago for drinks and a salad with my mom. We were impressed by the ambiance, the wine selection, and food — all at reasonable prices. It’s an amazing value for the quality of what is offered.
I then most recently was looking for a place to host a happy hour gathering for about 20 – 30 of my friends, and I immediately thought of the Villa Wine Bar & Kitchen, as I had remembered how beautiful it is in there, and that they offer food and wine as well. It was a pleasure working with Gabi and Sean to make pre-​arrangements for the food and wine selections that I was going to offer my guests. I went in ahead of time with my husband to do my own tastings, and they were so gracious and I was again impressed with the food and wine! We had a couple of paninis that were delicious, and just the right portions. They also happened to have some live jazz (Brazilian/​Latin) music when we were there, that just enhanced the experience.
The event went perfectly! We ordered the bruschetta, trio of dips, and the cheese and charcuterie platter. It was all divine! The presentation was beautiful, and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Villa Wine Bar & Kitchen as a place to come on a date, have an event, or just meet up with a group of friends. Just go there, you’ll love it!

Perfect location in downtown Santa Barbara. Small but cozy, great wine selection not only Californian wines. Delicious gourmet paninis and tapas.

Great beer, great wine, great food, great people. They are always rotating the beers, and the Toscana panini is fantastic!

Great place to go! It’s is in Santa Barbara downtown, the place is so cute and elegant, the service is great, the food is amazing, great wines. The vibe from this place is amazing. I don’t live in Santa Barbara but i will go often there and my favorite place is Villa Wine Bar

This spot has become one of my go-​to happy hour spots. Sean and Gabie and their staff are as friendly and helpful as you could ever hope for. Great ambiance, prices, and selection.

I had such a nice first night experience at this wine bar tonight… will stop there several more times on the bike on the way home from work. It’s quiet with nice staff and a super cool setting and beautiful tile. The beer selection was good and they had some excellent home made spreads (pesto, olive tapeano and sundries tomatoes) as a tapas appetizer with toasted baguette bread for a very affordable price. The live jazz music playing in the background so relaxing and at a level that I could almost have a conversation even though they were only 10′ away. Me thinks I’ve found a nice place to relax in SB. :)

This place is wonderful! Great for a light dinner and good glass of beer or wine. Owners know their wines and the selection is superb. The ambiance is great and there is a working fountain inside. Great place to chillax.

Excellent location and excellent service. The bartender, Nararyan, is a kind and great server. He knew exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended.

This place is incredible. The name doesn’t signal the unbelievable beer selection which they rotate weekly. Best curated beer on tap I’ve tasted in a long time. Bar tenders are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Delicious cheese plates and paninis to keep the drafts company. Highly recommend this spot, will definitely be back.

Our group of 6 was visiting SB for a long weekend and stayed at an AirBNB around the corner from Villa. The manager /​friendly face at the bar Allie was really knowledgable on local wines, and made us feel at home. The bar has great bites if you need a snack and a cool local ambience that is a welcome change from the typical State Street tourist trap. Reasonably priced and great HH specials. Thanks Allie, we look forward to coming back soon

Love this place! A gem, that is just a sidestep from State Street with plenty of parking across the street, Villa Wine Bar and Kitchen, is an extremely enticing and relaxing place. The wine and beer selections are excellent (beer geeks: I strongly recommend checking in often, as Sean always has something special on tap).
Every morsel of food is divine, from the special menus for wine maker dinners to the paninis and craft beers for lunch. The most recent winemakers dinner I attended was with Eric Jensen from Booker Wines. What an epic night of food and wine.
The owners (Sean and Gabi) are super friendly and don’t mind helping you pick something out or help you figure what to order next if your wine knowledge is dated or you are just starting out exploring the wonderful world of beer.
Among the best place in the city to get quality draft beers and hard to find wines that come from all over the world. There is something for everyone’s taste.

Well there truly has not been a wine bar in Santa Barbara like that of Villa Wine Bar & Kitchen. At least not a wine bar that is pure excellence, with the most superb and delicious wines from Santa Ynez to Napa, and all the way up the golden coast. The wines are accompanied by the most amazing tapas and salads, a true treat for your palate. I have frequented Villa Wine Bar and Kitchen so often that I ended up having my birthday gathering there with about 30 of my friends in the most warm and intimate setting. All I can say is that this Wine Bar & Kitchen is 5 stars all the way around, from the wine to the food. It’s a must try on your next evening out.

Villa is the best kept secret… till now in SB. Where locals go to take a break from the «Funk «and bustle of State. Centrally located downtown, right across from Lot #10. Villa has craft beer, an amazing selection of wine and a yummy menu. I hosted a small private party for 50 ppl and it was perfect! Gabi & Sean were amazing to work with and made the whole process very easy. A must go to host your next private party or just to have some lunch paired with a great glass of wine or pint!

My husband and I really enjoy going to Villa after work for a good beer or great wine. The owners and staff are friendly and the ambient is beautiful. We had my husband’s birthday party there a couple of weeks ago and it was a blast. Gabi and Sean were very helpful and reliable. The place was impeccable ready to receive the guests and the service was perfect. Everybody had a great time! Villa is our favorite place to go!

The ambiance is casual and chic! Many options for great wine and the food is fresh and delicious plus the prices are reasonable. And they have unique and hard-​to-​find craft beer selection. It’s located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara with easy access to parking and other establishments. One of the hidden Gem is their special dinner events. We went to a 5-​course dinner with Booker wine and the wine maker was there and a few bottles that are already sold out. The food surpassed my expectation. It was fresh, incredible menu selection that paired well with Booker Wines.
