Amazing! I had LASIK done with Dr. Katsev May of 2014 which was, by far, the best decision of my LIFE! My vision is 20⁄15(which is better than perfect). Minimal discomfort during and after the procedure and the day after I was able to work(and drive) without issues! Almost a year later and my vision is still EXCELLENT! I would HIGHLY recommended Dr. Katsev for any procedure! Thank you Dr. Katsev!

This Dr. is cordial, but there are Lengthy waits for appointments. I had Lasik 10 years ago, and redone a couple times. Cant seem to get it right. However, I do not have time to sit in waiting rooms for so much loss of work time. There was a discount when I had procedure redone, but I am wondering if another Dr. would get it right next time. Also, perhaps I I would not miss so much work sitting in waiting rooms.

Dear potential lasiks candidiates, keep looking before you make your final decision! I decided to go to Dr. Katsev because I got a screamin’ good deal(basically half off) and a friend of mine got her lasik done by him 10 years ago. He is a nice enough guy… a Santa Barbara surfer-dad type. However, he was a little too casual about the whole process for my comfort level. He really did not prepare me for what was going to happen during the surgery and recovery process, both of which were a lot more intense then he made them out to be. My big dissapiointment came when I found out that my eyesight did not get corrected to 20⁄20(which he just brushed off and did not let me know any alternatives for the future… for instance: Can the surgery be preformed twice??). Plus now I have total light sensitivity and really do not feel safe driving at night with an inability to read some traffic signs and small street names. I will probably have to get glasses again some time soon. He told me to check back in a year after the surgery, which I did. When I tried to make an appointment, a very rude woman informed me that I would be charged $ 200 for a followup. I think a free yearly followup for such an expensive surgery(even at half off) would be a wonderful idea if they had any sort of class or care for their patients.
