7 Day nursery staff are the most knowledgeable and helpful in Santa Barbara. Jennifer, Joe and Ronaldo all went beyond the call of duty to help with a project recently. Their plants are in great condition and competitively priced.

I come here quite often as it’s right between work and home! I ask a lot of questions and they are always there to help and always have a great attitude. I stopped by today just a few seconds after closing and popped my head in to ask a quick question and instead of turning me away they solved my problem. Aside from my great experience today, they have a great selection of neat options for the weekend landscaping project!

After completing the first part of a re-landscaping project and not wanting to ever return to Cicileo Landscaping, we went to 7 Day Nursery to select all the plants and pots needed on decks, patios, and front entrance. What a huge difference between Cicileo and 7 Day Nursery! 7 Day was everything Cicileo was not. First and foremost, ethical! No overcharging and inferior plants! Billy, the manager, was above board and worked with our budget. And all of the plants were beautiful, high quality, and healthy. Taylor was the specialist who looked at our areas and creatively selected the perfect plants and pots, with the right colors, sizes, and types to go in each area. And to top things off Taylor got everything done and in place in time for the rehearsal dinner we were hosting outside for our son’s wedding. 7 Day Nursery and Taylor will continue to be our nursery and plant advisor of choice for our yard. We could not be happier! How we wished we had used them for the previous work done in our yard!

I think of 7 Day Nursery as the boutique nursery in Santa Barbara. They have a wonderful selection of different plants, vegetables, herbs and succulents that are of top quality. From the the curb, the nursery looks small, but don’t let that fool you. If you want a great quality nursery or you are passing by, stop and take a look — you won’t be disappointed. It’s like your own little secret garden. The staff are very helpful and are determined to help you fulfill your wants and needs for your dream garden. I don’t recommend a lot of places, but this is one you have to check out. Definitely beats Home Depot and other local nurseries.

I went in to buy wine barrels which were out front with a sign advertising them for sale at $ 49. I was charged $ 199. I told the clerk of the signage error and was told I could have a 10% discount. I was very disappointed.

This is a super cute nursery, and I hope that some day they have room to expand to their full potential. For now, everything is a bit cramped. However, it is cramped with beautiful plants, pottery, and gardening supplies. There is not a clear cut path through the nursery and the organization is minimal, which gives you the sense of walking through a wild garden crossed with a thrift shop. Scavenging for the best deal/plant feels like an adventure! I chose a small lime tree, a tomato plant, and a mint from amongst the plethora of vegetation. I’d never grown citrus before, and the staff was super friendly and willing to teach me everything there was to know, including a pruning demonstration. This place is a little bit out of my way, but I loved their selection. If you’re not willing to scavenge, all you have to do is ask!

This small boutique Nursery is refreshing breath of fresh air on the corner of busy State and Las Positas. Although a small location it has a very diverse selection of plants for the indoor and outdoor gardener. They have incredibly affordable Moroccan imports which are cheaper than any other place in town! They have the best selection of pottery, water features, native plants, and they promote an entire line of Organic Fertilizers and pesticides. The employees are incredibly helpful with aesthetically creative garden ideas.

Eh… This place isn’t so bad. Its a small quaint little nursery on State Street in Santa Barbara. Yes. its small. but has lots of little nooks and crannies to explore and peruse. They also have a decent selection of plants, flowers and garden food and tools for their size. Come on! The place is located in the parking lot of a Gelson’s! They only have so much space to work with. My wife found a couple of unusual plant finds here as well as some eco-friendly pots. Solid 3 stars. Could be better — but also could be alot worse. The people there were super friendly, too!

My Mom was stoked to hit this nursery up while were waiting to eat at Via Maestra 42. She was a bit dissapointed as the selection is very small and we walked around the nursery in a couple minutes.
