Great customer service but the sandwiches they offer is so so. No wow factor to speak of, Alpine Deli or Rhineland is the spot to go!

The employees behind the counter treat the customers very poor. They clearly don’t care about whether having repeat customers. I work downtown and frequently make big orders… I will never order from them, or recommend this place. My business and orders will continue to go to South Coast Deli where they care about the downtown crowd and making sure they feel welcome.

It shouldn’t be that difficult to make a sandwich. There was no one in front of me and there are two guys working behind the counter taking forever. I’m still waiting on the sandwich as I write this review. I’m looking at it sit there and it looks so skimpy. Very little meat on this sub. For $ 13.95 go elsewhere. Not worth time or money. It’s sad because jersey mikes is usually decent Ok maybe they hired new employees or something but I updated my review from 1⁄5 to 3⁄5. Came here for lunch a bit hesitant but was rewarded for the courage of eating here once again.

Well that’s another lesson learned. I’m not the review typing kind of guy but I just felt so unsatisfied with my experience that I had to write this. First of all, they are way overpriced. A «regular» size will cost you 8 $ and is nothing more than a small bread roll. The«in a tub» salads they have are the biggest rip off I’ve ever seen, it’s just a bowl with lettuce and the meat you chose, they don’t even ask you if you want tomato’s, onions or anything. Even tough I asked for Mike’s way they just ignored me and did what they want. The taste was alright and the staff was ok as well, except the manager, that guy just shouts the word«dick» in my mind.

Please train your staff better!!! I LOVE jersey mikes subs and have tried numerous stores but this one struggles with one employee. I have had one guy multiple times that always messes up my order… :-(I hate to base my review on 1 person but he really needs help. whether it be from putting oil and vinagre on a sub(come on!!! That’s the point of Mikes Way!!!) Or having half the toppings fall out of the sub, he can’t seem to get it right… please help him cuz I don’t want to stop eating there-!!!

This place is kind of hidden. The sign isn’t has noticeable as they usually are. However, they always make your sandwich the right way every time. I love Jersey Mike’s, but this one is my favorite one to go to. They just seem to do a better job and the staff always go the extra mile. This afternoon, a little girl dropped her sandwich, and before she could get upset, they told her it was OK and whipped up another sandwich for her in mili-seconds. I appreciated their consideration.

I am not a huge fan of subs in general too much bread and not enough protein for me. This place is better than most of them. I would never eat a Subway Hero not even for free– the quality of the ingredients here are good –the turkey and cheese and etc. The lettuce and tomato and onions and oil and vinegar are delicious. And the sub bread with cheese in it very good and different. The prices are expensive and the staff leave much to be desired. The owners are very nice and generous and are trying to be customer friendly and they are allowing their staff to do them in. Jeff get a hold of your staff and train them better but cannot train some one to be nice– get nicer people there please. The owner Jeff was honoring my coupons and the snippy young girl who works there was telling him not to– can you imagine such a thing she was giving me dirty looks she works there He is the boss I am a customer … I have never encountered such rudeness in my entire life and in a hero place no less — give me a break not even in a five star phony French restaurant in New York or Paris this was too much. I was thankful she left – rudeness to a customer ever. unreal I wanted to just walk out and never return The only thing I could assume was she was his girlfriend and even that wouldn’t be a reason to allow an employee to be that rude. but I was hungry and had the free coupon. the other Young man there sour puss —there never smiles must hate his job I got him to smile but it was too much work for what? one of them is Ok . If I ever went back it would be on state street heard the staff is friendlier than here. I tried the Philly steak sandwich horrible doesn’t cover it dried out slices of steak gross We had a business in Philly and I lived in New Jersey so I know the real deal this is an insult to the name Philly —Cheese steak and expensive for a horrible dish on top of it I couldn’t even eat it. it was so vile and you couldn’t even find the onions with a magnifying glass. Maybe they should take a trip to Philly and have the real deal. The tables were filthy also I had to clean one just to find a place to eat– how ridiculous is that with three people working there and not even that crowded. The owner was sitting down and eating and then left with dirty tables not good. HANDS on– the most successful places have hands on owners. you do not leave when yu see dirty tables you are not on the clock if you are an owner on such thing in the restaurant business I am known for my great positive revues on Unilocal so you must be I Deep trouble to get one lie this from me– re read over ad over not too late to do the right thing. GOODLUCK– luck is 100 percent hard work and sweat You get what you pay for in life pay a little more and get a better quality of help you have good product get good help or else you will not make it here. Jeff I guarantee you because you are expensive –

Overall, I LOVE Jersey Mikes. I’ve been to some of the other locations and enjoy the fresh cut deli sandwiches. However, this location needs a little bit of work. The first time I went in, the workers seemed stressed out despite it being a short line. Understandable, since it was the first week they’ve been open. The second time I went in, both gentlemen were pretty unenthusiastic and short with me. One of them forgot half of the ingredients that came on the sand which and I had to gently remind him. I went to sit down in the empty dining room and every single table had crumbs and napkins strewn about. Hopefully they can work out the kinks. Will definitely be returning still!

I wasn’t going to write a review but after giving it a second chance it had to be done. First time going, third day after the opening in the evening, we asked to make sure that they were still open seeing as how no one was in there and were told sarcastically yes and the workers began to laugh at us making us feel like it was a stupid question. We proceeded to make our order and were given a look when we ordered hot subs in a tub apparently a foreign idea to these people. I’m not saying that the food didn’t come out great it was just the customer service in order to get there was kind of a turn off on this location. Decided to go back second week after opening and made an phone ordered for pick up. Again the person on the phone helping me, was not rude but did not know that but a hot sub could be put in the tub but proceeded with my order also a informing me they don’t do mikes way in a tub(contrary to what their website states). When I went to pick it up they missed an item and had them do it right there. The avocado that was added was dark and not green/fresh looking. The portion of meat on one tub was fine and the other was lacking. If I could put both experiences into one I would say I would’ve been happy with my experience at Jersey Mike’s but because both were lacking in different areas I only could say that this location still needs more training on the menu and better customer service. I highly recommend the Goleta location as their customer service is excellent as well as their portioning and knowledge of the menu.

I wouldn’t have come here or even known about it if someone hadn’t stopped by my office with coupons for free sandwiches during their first week. I was torn between the Chicken Parmesan or the Pastrami. On the advice of the employee I picked the pastrami. It is very good with a generous portion if meat! The staff all seem nice and well trained for the second day! Certainly a nicer shop than a Subway. My biggest issue is will I ever remember to come back. It is a little hidden in a big shopping center and it might take a while for people to find it.
