My wife and I rode our bikes by there and I said«hey, look at that cute lil deli!» And she said«what?» And I said«look at that cute lil deli!» And she said«oh yeah!» And I said«maybe we’ll go there someday!»

I love this place, the owners are incredibly nice and the food is always delicious! Great sushi and great sandwiches. I come almost 1 – 2 per week from my office around the corner. It’s great to support a small local spot. Their breakfast is stellar too!

I’m bummed that I’ve lived a block away for 15 months and waited this long to go. I think I was scared off by the«sushi and sandwiches» combo. I haven’t had a sandwich yet but the sushi was great. They made my rolls to order right in front of me. Menu has breakfast, soup, coffee and burritos too. The place was super clean, busy, and the staff was very friendly. A couple tables inside and about 5 outside in the sun. Good prices. Seems like they are popular with the local business guys. They knew their names and one guy said«see ya Monday». Only open M-F 7 – 3. Wish they were open on the weekend, I’d walk over all the time!

This place is awesome. If you are working in the industrial area of SB it is hard to beat the location of 101 Deli. The owners Paul and Angie are super friendly. Paul’s sushi is fantastic and if you want something more affordable you can get a decent burrito. Cool little spot.

The sandwiches are mediocre. I had their spicy chicken sandwich and the meat was microwaved. I tried their turkey sandwich before and it was underwhelming. No bueno and not worth the price $ 9 – 11. On the other hand, their sushi and breakfast burritos are delish.

Stumbled upon this place a few days ago after getting lost in S.B. trying to find a quick bite to eat on the way to L.A. I almost laughed when I walked in and saw the menu – sushi, sandwiches, AND burritos? I ordered the Gourmet Turkey sandwich and my partner ordered a grilled chicken burrito. We were both pleasantly surprised! Overall good, quality, fresh food. Service was friendly and fast. We noticed that it was pretty busy too. Seems like a popular stop to get a quick lunch to-go. I’d definitely consider stopping in again.

Have to give them a good review just because it’s family owned and operated. Food is decent enough.

This is a family owned and operated deli on Cesar Chavez. It is a bit difficult to find at first, but worth it if you’re in the area and you’re hungry. The coolest thing about this place is the friendly family that works their. They are really fast and make great food, but the coolest thing is that they give 100% of their tips to help a different children charity every year. They are very humble and hard working — and you won’t know anything about how cool they are unless you ask them a bunch of questions like I have. They have awesome breakfast sandwiches and burritos — ooh especially if you like bacon! And killer sandwiches for lunch — my favorite is the Deli Special. Call ahead if you’re in a hurry, otherwise you’ll only wait a minute or two. Such cool people. Give them business!!!
