Usually have decent experience. Never anything to rave about. My natural nails are fairly long, so it’s just an acrylic overlay. Well this time the overlay was applied so thin it just started chipping off within the first week. Also I inquired about SNS and was practically yelled at that «I need to pic color now». Umm sure but give me a chance to at least look them over. She repeatedly barked you need pick color now!
Umm Nevermind I’ll just use the polish I bought. I think she may have felt bad afterwards because she kept making small talk to late. Stop rushing me for a service I’M PAYING YOU TO DO. Especially one I’m not familiar with. Also it’s just incredibly rude, to speak to one in that manner

So many better places around. Nails chipped same day than when I didn’t like the shape I was argued with instead of fixing them.

Nothing to complain about. I had a little wait when I came in, but that can happen on a weekend when you don’t have an appt. Tai did my manicure; he was funny and friendly. He joked around with the customers which makes the atmosphere pleasant. Tips can only be given in cash and they do have a sign that says as much.

This was my first visit and truly enjoyed it! I have gone to another local salon for a year and I just didn’t like the atmosphere or level of work. However, at Platinum Nails, that’s not the case! Wonderful, happy, pleasant, courteous staff who tended to the needs of every customer! Every person who walked in was welcomed by name and had obviously been coming here for a long time. It’s a cute and quaint place with a warm atmosphere. I will DEFINITELY be returning! Thank you Platinum!

Staff was very friendly and attentive! They offered us bottled water during our trip there. Prices were the norm. The only thing we found odd was that they do not take tip off a card, only cash. We mentioned that we needed to go to 7 – 11 there to get cash and they let us do the tip on the card. My lady took hours for a pedi and mani but they both still look great!

I recently moved to Sanford, I have been very nervous about finding a «new nail place.» I have been getting my nails done for over 3 years now and would consider myself pretty picky. I was pleasantly surprised on how well my full set turned out. Tom did a great job and I look forward to my next appointment. I did have a bit of wait time, but I was a walk in on Christmas Eve.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Platinum Nails for nine years. The staff is amazing here. Always very attentive and friendly. The shop itself is very clean as well. I have never leave the shop disappointed. I get manicures and pedicures for my natural nails and the occasional brow wax. I recommend them to all of my friends in the Sanford/​Heathrow area.
