Horrible Thai food, If they call this Thai food, then real restaurant should change their name. Nasty no understanding of cooking at all.

I used to like this place, but it did change owners a while ago. I dislike intensely the inconsistency of the quality of the food. I notice the people cooking the food change frequently, and that would be ok if the recipes and quality stayed the same. Several times now(4 different times) I have ordered the summer rolls, which are fresh(not deep-fried) and they have left out one of the main hallmark ingredients, the Thai basil leaves. If a restaurant doesn’t have the ingredients to make a specific dish, tell me when I order so I can reconsider, but don’t make the item substandard and hope I don’t care or notice. A restaurant is good only if you can trust it to be good inconsistently, because the cost doesn’t decrease when the quality decreases.

I love this place. Hop Sings serves Chinese and Thai food, but the Thai is really the best around. Try the Pad Thai, Pad Kraprao, or Pad See Ew — all are superb. Or if you want a combination of sweet and hot, try any of their coconut milk based curry dishes. But watch out, if you order your food Thai hot, it will melt your face off! Be warned. You can ask for medium which is spicy too, or mild which is tame. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are good too. They have lunch specials that include a soda, and the dinner portions are enough for two meals. Try Hop Sings!

I really like the Thai food here. Saw a few mediocre reviews but this place is actually good. I have not tried the Chinese food so I cannot say anything about that. Pineapple fried rice(only served for dinner) is great! Lots of flavor and good sized portion.

If you want take-away Thai, take this place for what it is: a quick place to get Thai food. It’s certainly not the best Thai, and really not great Chinese. It’s average, and it’s great for when I want to pick up lunch for the office. If you’re on lunch break, make sure to call first to order or you’re going to have a bad time. The place gets busy during lunch. I’ve had the pad thai, tofu and chicken. Their tofu is cooked perfectly, nice and crisp on the outside, and soft in the middle. Their chicken is okay, a little chewy. The summer rolls are so-so, but their spring rolls are pretty darn good. I also had their Pad Med Mamuang, which was a change from the usual, but decent. It didn’t have enough cashews and too much rice. Their Chinese menu is cooked more like Thai food and not the traditional way most American Chinese restaurants cook their food. It’s bland as far as the spice they add, but their rice is really salty. They may go a bit overboard with the soy sauce. Their main entrees are very small portioned compared to the price. If you’re in the area and want okay and cheap Chinese, do China Wok Sanford. This place has decent Thai, but they should have left it at that.

Waited 30 minutes to get my food. Got more rice than anything and the chicken they give you can barely be eaten.

Awful Thai food. Worse Chinese food. It had the funniest taste. Not funny haha. Funny — yuck. :(I would never order food from here again. Even the ginger salad was awful.

Good Thai food. If you like it hot, ask them to make it Thai Hot. DISCLAIMER: Not for the faint of heart.

Hop Sings has the most delicious Paneng Curry! And the ladies are so nice. Food is always ready fast and tastes so good.

Don’t make Chinese Food and Thai Food in the same restaurant. Confucius say, «jack of all trades, master of none.» Seriously that is an insult one has nothing to do with the other and it is the same dude cooking both. I didn’t eat the thai food but the Chinese is terrible and over priced. I don’t mind paying more for Chinese food but only if it is good. Any Chinese restaurant has dinner combos from $ 6.95 to $ 8.95 that include fried rice and an egg roll. They don’t have them but you can make any of the orders a combo by adding $ 3.99. So my small beef and broccoli for $ 6.49 was $ 10.48 as a combo which would make that the most expensive beef and broccoli combo anywhere. A quart of fried rice on its own is a hefty $ 8.49. Again, all would be well if the food didn’t stink. The rice is flavorless with limited pork and the trademark Central Florida peas and carrots. The beef in the beef with broccoli. Was off. I think it was over marinated to try and make it tender which affected the texture and the taste. The General Tso’s chicken was all breading. I cannot tell if it was dark meat chicken because I literally couldn’t find any chicken. I wouldn’t eat here again under any circumstances.

Their pad Thai is probably good… but I do know the Chinese side is horrid. The pork fired rice we got was a dark shade of brown. it wasn’t super salty so I have no idea what they did to it but it tasted bad and looked even worse. Never again.

The Pad Thai is the best I’ve had since moving to Central Florida in 2012. I always get Thai Hot and their chef does it right. The Chinese menu is okay, but their Thai is fantastic. If you’re in the area, I recommend stopping by.

No frills take out place with minimal seating. Thai selections are pretty good, but the Chinese dishes were only adequate. Disappointed based on what I had heard. Hmmm not sure if I’ll try them again.

Located adjacent to the Sam’s Club Plaza on Reinhardt Road in Sanford, FL. I was looking for a quick Pad Thai to eat at my desk. Hop Sing’s used to only offer the usual fast food Chinese take out, but now offers a full Thai menu along with the Chinese menu. Staff was friendly, food was ready and I was off. I was surprised to find baby corn, broccoli, carrots, bok choy, snow peas and water chestnuts sprinkled throughout my rice noodles. Sauce flavor was OK, good amount of tofu. The lunch special was $ 7.33, including tax and came with a drink of your choice, including bottled water. For the price, this Pad Thai was OK. Had I paid more, it would have been a 2 star rating.

Hop Sings has been kind of hit-or-miss for me. They have great pad thai, with a nice little lime wedge, and kind of mediocre tom kha gai. Which is sad, because I LOVE tom kha gai. It’s a nice place to stop in for lunch if you’re running errands in the strip mall, and you’re not in the mood for a ginormous slice of Sams Club pizza.

I love the Thai food at this place, and will go out of my way for their excellent curries. Their panang and green curries are delicious and can be made with the right amount of heat. Their pad Thai, pad see ew and drunken noodles are very good too. Worth the drive.

As far as fast Chinese joints go, this place is spot on. It’s actually got a Chinese and Thai menu, so there’s a variety of foods to try. Their Panang curry with tofu was good and the Thai donuts were a perfectly sweet addition to the meal, but the real winners were the Thai iced tea and fried banana. The place itself isn’t anything extravagant; usual set up of chairs and tables in a minimal space. Waited maybe 10 – 15 minutes for our order, which is about average from what i’ve experience. All in all, an excellent place to fulfill your pad thai or lo mein cravings without any fuss.

Just recently ate here for the first time. I was amazed at how delicious the Thai food is! I had sticky rice, papaya salad and chicken laab salad. Also had red penang curry with chicken, it was AMAZING! Wow, so good and fresh and the flavors are right on for Thai food. I did not eat at the place when they were only serving Chinese food under previous owners. If you need a Thai food fix go here.
