Still a nope. I was a guest at a club meeting hosted in the back room, and enthusiastically encouraged to order. I reluctantly ordered the soup and salad(a good deal at $ 8), because my friend was already eating the soup and said it was good. The tomato bisque soup DID turn out to be good, but the dinner salad was so soppy wet that the dressing slid right off into the plate, creating a second soup – à la dinner salad. If I hadn’t been a guest of the club, I would have sent that mess back. How much do you have to be struggling to not be able to serve up a dinner salad correctly?

The restaurant is tacky and small, not to mention the amount of spelling errors in their signs/menu. Our waitress gave our group of three, two menus. Then, we waited 15+ minutes to be asked about our dinner, without being asked about drinks yet. Another 20+ minute wait and our order arrived, still no drinks. I ordered waffles, with a side of white toast. I received pancakes, and wheat toast. My roommate asked for ranch and 10 minutes after, received strawberry jam. I really don’t know how you can mess up so many times, but our waitress managed to. Still annoyed about the drinks.

Clam chowder was great, prime rib was what you should expect, the green beans with bacon are awesome! A little under staffed as far as wait staff, they are pretty new so I think it will get better. She was just busy. She was nice a fast. We will be back

Excellent small town diner for brunch. Their portions are huge, have a full bar, witty sarcastic wait staff, and daily deals. Biggest chicken fried steak meal I’ve ever seen for $ 10.50

Pretty good breakfast. Meat lovers skillet was good good and came out sizzling hot. Better half got the corned beef and really liked it. The atmosphere is very home town. Could hear a few guys sharing stories near the back and a few others enjoying a quiet breakfast. Waitress was nice and informative. Good Breakfast. Mon 3÷7÷16

There used to be an insane meth addict as the one of the cooks here at this good restaurant but they fired her during our meal. She was a total nightmare. The management is screwed up needs to make some changes most of the time waiting staff makes up for it I came back to my review to add the following: My partner and I have discovered the management and owners are assholes to say the least, our bill was $ 30 too high and would not help the waitress figure out how to adjust it, they simply said just give them the bill, that came from the owner himself Who is also the cook. We loved our waitress she is a very nice person and left her a big fat tip. I can only hope The owner doesn’t steal it from her don’t go into this restaurant they get worse as time goes on now they’re watering down everything to try to stretch it out.

good lord. short handed or what? then shoving a new employee to handle everything was just sad. poor girl got the WHATFOR from some old dude who wasn’t happy with the slow service. I think everyone should work in the service industry to understand what being in the weeds is, so that they have some sympathy for the employees. didn’t eat here, cause I didn’t want to add to the chaos. but it looked good. here’s to your employees who were doing the best they could.

I’ve been here a few times since my last review, so I wanted to post an update: When I have come for lunch, the food was fantastic. Coming for breakfast is. okay. Nothing to brag about, but possibly the best in Sandy, where options are very limited. But if you don’t mind driving 20 miles up the mountain, you will truly find the best breakfast around. As for dinner, this place is no good. I ordered the sirloin and prawns(see photo) and everything about it was lousy. I have never considered returning for dinner to give them a second shot. 5 stars for lunch, 3 stars for breakfast, 1 – 2 stars for dinner.

We’ve eaten here once before and rather enjoyed it, but today was different. Much different. We sat at a booth that hadn’t been cleaned yet(they were a little busy and we didn’t want a table), and after sitting there for 15 minutes, the table was still dirty. They knew, they had looked at us several times and cleaned several other tables. We had to ask for menus, and when she came to take our order she seemed peeved that we even existed. She forcefully removed the clutter from the table, tossed some silverware at us, and left. Our food came quickly, which was nice, but neither of us were overly impressed. My french toast was bland(needed some cinnamon or vanilla or something), but the bacon was okay. The omelette my mother ordered was bland and her biscuit was spongy and tough, like it had been overworked. The coffee was typical diner coffee, nothing spectacular. I was never offered a refill, but the other tables were. All in all, don’t visit on a busy day and don’t sit in a corner table. The tables at the center got much better service. I hope they were just having an off day.

Breakfast is the spotlight here and you won’t find a better one in Sandy. This is traditional American breakfast fare, with large portions and nice, thick bacon. It can get busy here, but the coffee keeps flowing and the service is good. Family favorites are the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito, but it’s hard to beat good old bacon and eggs(with homemade jelly for your toast!). Any time someone wants to meet for breakfast, this is where we go!

Cheap, delicious breakfast. Nothing fancy but delicious. I had the chicken fried steak and it was one of the better breakfasts that I’ve had in a long time. Prices are great and service was solid. Great hangover food!

First time here, will be back to try the breakfast menu, had the Friday night special prime rib and it was all very good. The best part was the very nice waitress who did a very very good job.

An average diner that’s only notable for being right off the main road as you pass through Sandy when there’s not a ton of other options nearby. It’s clearly full of locals, but it doesn’t have much of the charm you’d expect from such an establishment. The staff were friendly, but slow, and the food was decent, but nothing I’d ever need to eat again. I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich that was pleasantly un-greasy, but there also just wasn’t too much to it. Same with the coffee. Standard filtered drip, mini creamers and white sugar packets. If you’re on a road trip to Mt. Hood and starving, this’ll do. But otherwise I’d wait and eat elsewhere.

I am local I tend to stay away from this place due to experiences with the actual Stephanie. I won’t go into her need to be everything including head waitress which means nothing was done well and the lack of professionalism of her pals aka wait staff was infuriating not to mention up to 1 hour waits for what used to be good breakfast. I hear new management or something like that. Went back for breakfast. Not doing that again. Sorry Stephanie but I have 30 years of waitress behind me and ya’all just can’t get out of your own way. It’s not hard to love what you do and love good food and share that with others. Perhaps a change in careers opening the door for people whom love serving up food and happiness to others just because they can is in order.

After staying in Sandy the previous night I found Stephanie’s on Unilocal and decided to give it a try for breakfast. It is a diner, and it appears most of the patrons are local. The menu was large and I had a pancake stuffed with bacon, eggs, cheese etc, it was great. The coffee was hot, the prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. I would gladly return.

Came in for a to go order just before dinner. Totally dead Waitresses were busy gabbing. Didn’t seemed super interested in the fact that there was a customer there. Took my order then kept gabbin’ about personal crap. So far not impressed. Will wait for food. Just heard the microwave go off. Oh oh. … Oh shit 2 more times. Food… Bad. Prime rib over cooked and tough Crappy cheese sauce on their microwaved broccoli. Grilled halibut hade an odd coating on it, not tasty. Won’t eat it. Don’t go for dinner it sucks Update I called to complain about the poor food. To their credit they were very apologetic and refunded our cost

One sassy waitress, gigantic portions, and cheap prices made this place a good stop for some breakfast. Be warned the portions are huge and you will most likely need a nap afterward.

Food options in Sandy, Oregon are limited at best. This place seems to only be frequented by locals. Despite being completely thrown by the name of this place(not international at all), I could see the appeal of a diner for all the locals headed out to work. Think giant portions of really really good diner style food. I ordered a sandwich and salad and after eating the giant salad I ended up taking my sandwich to go. The burgers seem very popular here and are huge. The biggest draw by far is breakfast. Cheap prices for great breakfast food. If you can afford the calories before hitting the slopes this is the place to do it. Most meals under 10.00 and the coffee is decent. Service is super fast and friendly. So in recap: –Diner –Cheap –Good Service –Huge portions –Not for those dieting
