I was just diagnosed with celiacs less than two weeks ago, which was a shock as an adult and really difficult to adjust to not eating the food that apparently I’ve been pseudo-addicted to. I began the gluten-free diet changes on Monday 6⁄20. It was no wonder my health was so bad because I was used to eating a LOT of wheat containing foods especially baked goods, and turns out I was allergic. However, the diet changes were a big deal to me and I was really struggling eating the first couple of days. I know it sounds silly but it was trying to change how I eat and what I get hungry for, and it was a lot! By Wednesday the 22nd I felt like I was going to have a mental breakdown if I didn’t have at least one piece of bread or a cookie. So my boyfriend went to Sally’s, which I did not know about before, and got me a package of chocolate chip cookies and some chocolate cupcakes. Reason restored itself to the universe within a few bites of my first cookie. Thanks to this experience, I have been to Sally’s twice since to pick up some bread. The prices are a bit steep($ 12 for a loaf of bread) however they are all very good. I think the prices are worth it. You can sample a lot of the products when you come in the door if you are nervous about the taste. I have been eating the 7 grain bread for sandwiches and it works great and I can’t tell much difference in taste between this and my regular bread. I need to try new items and will pickup a couple today and update my review. Thank you Sally’s for being in business, I will continue to support you and my carb addiction by coming here on a regular basis.

Visited for the first time and really enjoyed that they do samples of pretty much everything they sell. Left with banana bread and pumpkin bread. I was there right before close so they were out of fresh loaves but I got the frozen ones and they’re still very good. I’ll definitely be back for a bread loaf or some chocolate chip cookies.

OMG!!! Soooooo delicious. You would never think this bakery is gluten free– it’s so yummy and tastes like your normal baked goods but better! All the yummy goodies are allergen friendly. Although I wish they had more vegan options(soy free, dairy free, and egg free)… The cookies are ahhhhmazing! The humming bird cake is like the best! And the take home pizzas are so good. Oh don’t forget to bring a mini loaf home! Everything is just good. Trust me!

If your gluten free you must make a visit to this bake shop. I’m from Florida unfortunatly and I cannot visit as often as I would like. If I lived in the area I would visit weekly. I’m currently in the process of making a mail order because life just cannot go on for me without there baked goods. This shop offers a huge variety of baked goodies. The selections include pumpkin bread, cupcakes, sandwhich bread, hamburger buns, take and bake pizzas, pound cakes, muffins and cookies. What sets this place apart from all gluten free bakerys that I have visited is A) there goodies are to die for! The taste is mind blowing!, B) you can try everything before purchasing, C) the majority of the items are not only gluten free but free of other allergens as well. such as dairy/eggs, and finally D) the service. Sally was oustandingly nice and kind. She answered all my questions and enjoyed telling her story about her struggle with food allergys and recipe perfecting. It took this family owned business years to perfect these recipies. I literally dreamt of owning a franchise and am still dreaming. I’m obsessed and will forever be a lifelong customer. I love Sallys Gluten free bakery! Do not hesitate to visit this place. Come now! This may be a small hole in the wall bakery, but the flavors and textures are out of this world.

Good to know there are gluten free options in Georgia as it relates to bread!!! They have samples. I like the sweet potato bread, cup cake options, and the load of bread. I also purchased pizza. The customer service was okay! I picked, she bagged, nothing special… The price is very expensive! But it’s this, make it yourself, or nothing at all!!!

Dear Sally’s: I love you. You are an angel in the sad Atlanta GF world. I drive 30 miles to get your hummingbird cake. I actually get mad about how long it takes to defrost. I would eat it frozen if I didn’t look like a crazy lady. I also pick up cupcakes and breads. Everything is delicious. You never disappoint. Keep on keeping on… and giving out those delish little samples.(Even if you’re not GF, you should come and try something, you will be pleased!)

My daughter has gluten allergies and could never find anyone who baked gluten-free red velvet cupcakes. They are her favorite. We found them at Sally’s and they are the best I’ve tasted. I started trying their other products. bread… chocolate cupcakes… and everything I’ve tried is so delicious. I’ve been eating gluten-free with my daughter for awhile and I believe their sandwich bread is one of the best I’ve tasted. They also sell a hummingbird cake that is fantastic. I’m trying to get around to trying everything they have. They offer samples of everything set out on the counter when you walk in so that you can try before you buy.

If you have a gluten allergy and you are looking for good breads and pastries. You found the right place. Cakes, cupcakes, banana bread, pumpkin bread, sweet potato bread, 3 kinds of sandwich type breads. Some are egg, soy, and dairy free. There are samples available. Chocolate chip cookies are delicious. I have never had anything bad there. Holidays there are more goodies available. Pizzas made to order and frozen available. No gluten ever brought into the facility.

Great small bakery! I purchased a chocolate cake to take with me for a family reunion(a family member couldn’t have gluten) so and we weren’t able to eat until 2 days later when everyone had arrived. It was still tasty after that and multiple people were surprised it was gluten free! I’ll be back to try other products!

Very friendly & helpful staff. GREAT product. They had samples out!!! Not of everything but of several things they have on a regular basis. And again, AMAZING product. The store itself is quite small but that is all. It’s very well kept & everything else about it makes stopping by & being a customer SO worth it. I had the banana bread, pumpkin bread & blueberry muffins. The breads were excellent and the blueberry muffins outstanding. All were moist & very flavorful. I’ve only been once now but can’t wait to go back.

i’m not on the gluten free or dairy free diet, but a very good friend of mine is on a dairy free one. my sister recommended i check this place out — she went to Alpharetta location. i love that you can try some samples right away and see what you may like or not prefer. some stuff is frozen so you cannot sample it on site. the location is basically a pick up counter where you order or pick up products — not a dine in location! the products i did purchase were the pumpkin bread(YUMMY!), the sandwich bread(also YUMMY but keep in freezer so it stays together longer; gets crumbly when left out too long), the cheese pizza(haven’t tried yet but will update review), and some dairy free chocolate cupcakes(i’ll update when my friend consumes them). All in all a good trip! next time i’m taking a list so i won’t hold up the line. my only criticism is wanting a list of all the products they sell — the online list is there but there other products not listed on there. perhaps the Facebook page has them more often? i’ll check and see. gluten free never tasted this yummy to me! my sister recommends the cookies so that’s on my list for next time!

I bought a box of chocolate cupcakes for my dad, who is recently gluten-free. I was a little skeptical, considering I am a cupcake fanatic, but I have to say they were AMAZING. Cupcakes are the ultimate indulgence for me, and I was beyond impressed. I also sampled a few of the breads in the bakery, and everything I ate was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

I am a huge fan of their CRAW(Cinnamon Raisin and Walnut) bread. Delicious and hearty. A friend ordered me a birthday cake from here, and it was delicious, but small for the price(prices are a bit high, even compared to other gluten free bakeries in town). I will note, for those who are also dairy-free, they have a take and bake pizza with vegan cheese. I have not tried it, but I understand it is a lifesaver for folks with allergic kids.

I love this place and try to stop every time we’re in town. The first time I stopped by was a day they were closed and I really was hoping to pick up a cake for the holidays so I’d have something to eat. Sally happened to be there and let us in anyway and told us she didn’t have any baked goods available but would happily sell us something from the freezer. The red velvet cake was the best I’ve had since going gluten free 10 years ago! As a side note — it is very frustrating to see people who aren’t gluten-free giving negative reviews here and complaining about prices. If you don’t need to be gluten-free please reconsider your negative reviews because Sally’s is the best gluten-free bakery I’ve come across and it is worth every cent to not have to bake something(a true luxury when you have celiac).

We found this wonderful bakery by googling Vegan bakery! What a find, we needed cup cakes for my husbands Mom’s birthday and being vegan I wanted to be able to eat one too! So they are gluten free and vegan, how much better can you get? They were by far the best vegan cup cakes I have ever had!!! Everyone loved them!!! A must for all !!!

Picked up a GF cake for an office thing recently, and the texture and flavor was fantastic. I tried the bread samples while checking out — there were a half dozen or more different items available to try. The pumpkin and sweet potato breads were delightfully moist and flavorful. The«regular» bread sample was a bit on the chewy/gummy side for my preference. But don’t take my word for the breads, go try them yourself.

I love this bakery! Always stop in on my visits to ATL. I am in LOVE with their Hummingbird Cake. I will definitely be ordering some in the future. I have tried to find a gluten free bakery in Orlando since I moved away from Atlanta, but I have been unsuccessful. No stores carry anything remotely edible, so I have to resort to traveling for my breads or baking(which I am just too lazy to do lol). I love Sally’s family. I have yet to meet her, but is she’s half as amazing as her bakery, I can’t wait :-)

Outstanding little bakery just outside the Perimeter with pastries and breads so excellent you’d never know they were a) gluten-free and b) good for you! The C.L.A.W. bread is so so good and I love to keep some in the freezer just in case I can’t make it up there. New location in Alpharetta, but this is pretty convenient so make sure to check it out!

Store looks small, and doesn’t have too many products, at least I didn’t see to many. Staff were nice to me. Prices way to high. Bread more then $ 11, small piece of browny more then $ 2. I will be making my own gluten free stuff. Will be a lot cheaper.

I admit I was a little skeptical when my work birthday buddy opted to bring gluten-free treats from Sally’s to celebrate my day. I’m all about some baked goodies, and, since I’ve never had a reason to eat gluten-free, I didn’t know how it would stack up against the«real» thing. Color me happily surprised! We had a selection of treats, including blueberry muffins, banana bread, and regular– and mini-sized chocolate chip cookies. I’ve now tried everything but the large chocolate chip cookies and give them a 100% stamp of approval. The mini cookies in particular are very addictive, and I can’t really tell a difference between them and a wheat flour version. The banana bread does have a slight after-texture(like after-taste but with mouth feel) thing going on, but overall I really enjoyed everything. I’ve even got some leftover muffins stashed in my freezer now for quick breakfasts! I would imagine quality, tasty, gluten-free baked goods are difficult to find. If you’re looking for some, do stop in at Sally’s and give it a try!

YUM! A neighborhood bakery with gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free selections! I’m an ATL native that moved to LA and I always stop here when I’m in town. The owners are very friendly and helpful and take time with each customer. The banana bread tastes like the gluten-y kind my grandma used to make and the sugar cookies are a little bit soft and toothy– perfect!

I’m luke warm on this place, though if I was gluten intolerant then I’d probably discard all my negatives and give this place 4 stars. Positives: I ordered the brownie and a pumpkin loaf and they were both fantastic. Very moist and flavorful and just as good as anything with gluten. The items are very standard and aren’t anything you couldn’t get anywhere else(except for being gluten-free). Negatives: as someone is isn’t gluten intolerant, I won’t be itching to go back. Prices are expensive for the quantity. Also, the décor is very austere inside. I like design and display cases and I couldn’t see what was all for sale. If I could see more, I’d probably buy more.

I was extremely impressed with their breads and cookies because the gluten free breads I’ve tried before have been overly dense and not very appetizing. I don’t know how they do it but their options are AWESOME. The gluten free hamburger buns were awesome, but they went bad in about 4 days. I highly recommend popping them in the freezer if you don’t use them all. The banana bread was super delicious and very moist, it will be hard not to eat the whole loaf in one sitting because it’s actually pretty small. The raisin/walnut bread wasn’t as yummy and was definitely disappointing after the other two things we got, but I’m still overall very impressed with their gluten free options.
