Salads are fresh and pizza is great. However, there has been a lot of staff turnover lately. The once familiar welcoming faces have since faded. Additionally, nothing like a cold glass of white on a nice Spring/​Summer day. Only thing, the have been out of a varietal of wine for over a week with no replacement options. That really sucks! Having been in the restaurant biz for 20 years, I know there are definitely other options for a substation instead of offering nothing. You just lost sales by not having product available. And next time I go out to eat, I will hesitate and consider somewhere else that has a fully stocked by with alternative options.
I will order the pizza for delivery though!!!

My sub par meatball sub was nothing short of lackluster with burnt toast. The sub was dry with only barely enough marinara sauce to cover the 4 dried out meatballs. The meatballs itself smells funny… like they’re OLD meatballs…
It’s got to be the worst sub I’ve ever eaten and I refuse to spend another dime at this place.
It’s disgusting. It has ruined my lunch and the rest of my day!
I deserve an apology for being charged $ 9.62 for this crap.

blue moon is delicious! I am not much of a pizza person, but this place has become one of my recommendations when asked for restaurants in Atlanta. all of their pizzas are great! I especially love the sandwiches, which are on pizza bread. the buffalo chicken sandwich is delicious! this location & the location in buckhead are both very good. service is always good! they also have where you can order a pizza to take home & cook at home. definitely nice if you want a customized pizza for a night in! give it a chance! so much better than chain pizza places.

this has been our go to pizza takeout forever. Just had awful pizza — stale tough crust, harsh, uncooked skimpy tomato sauce, almost no cheese. Won’t be back.

This was our first time at Blue Moon. We really liked it. Our server, Ali, was terrific! The whole staff was very kind.
My husband had the classic pizza, loaded! I had a personal pizza that I built myself with roasted garlic, caramelized onions, Roma tomatoes and artichokes. You know how restaurants will often add the artichokes unchopped or hardly chopped? Well, these were small cut and easy to eat. We had a key lime pie for dessert. All were delicious. The crust was great, but could have used a few more minutes in the oven.
We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful Saturday evening. The atmosphere of the whole restaurant was nice, without the music being overpowering.
We will definetley return.

$ 10 Greek salad consists of 8 pieces of pita on top of which you receive wilted romaine, a small amount of feta and one olive. Seriously… ridiculous! Pizza was cold and sub-​par. $ 40 meal that was on level of bad fast food. Won’t be returning!

Blue moon pizza is a solid pizza option in the area. I am not a pizza person so your average pepperoni and cheese doesn’t excite me… However the jerk chicken and santa fe chicken options i choose did excite me. They were cooked well and in good portion sizes.

My boyfriend and I were looking for some place to get food to go, and I knew he wouldn’t eat from that Mediterranean place next door, so we went here. I’m so glad we did! The girl up front Brelynn (sorry if I butchered that) was so laid back, talkative, and made waiting for our AMAZING mozzarella sticks and pizza memorable. When we told her we were from out of town she told us the best spots in Atlanta that we need to see! Loved her, and her lipstick. Keep up the good work Blue Moon.

Used to live nearby, so ate a lot of pizza. Can’t comment on the meat as I’m a vegetarian, however I love the margherita and white pizzas. Margherita is really fresh and simple with tomato slices and basil. The white pizza is amazing if you love garlic, which I do. Also has a lot of ricotta. They usually have a good selection of beers on draft as well which is a bonus. App of choice is the bruschetta. Delivery if you’re close enough changed my life.

Big fan of Blue Moon. I normally go to the location off Windy Hill, but have been to this location twice. The Luna… I get it every time. Love it…, my favorite pizza combo for sure. I one time had the BLT flatwhich and that was great as well.
Service is always good. Staff are friendly and service has been consistent. No bad experiences, per se.
I will say this about the Sandy Springs location. My server was great tonight. The only irritation was the manager came around to the tables checking sugar/​salt stations. My section was me and 4 empty tables. Here’s a tip boss man… if you’re checking someone’s table for the arrangement, maybe you should address your customer and not just the contents of their table. «How’s your pizza?» «Thanks for coming in.» Are you writing this down? Especially when there is only one person in the area… sugar packets come and go. So do paying customers. Food for thought…
Does not diminish my review or love of this pizza…

Very delicious pizza place! I like eating my pizza with the thin crust and this place makes it best! They have an outdoor patio where you can dine and bring your dogs as well! The food and service was great. They were attentive to whatever I needed and the food exceeded my expectations. They have several locations and I believe one is in Buckhead. This location sits in an apartment plaza with other businesses such as a nail salon, tanning salon, and other restaurants. It’s usually busy around lunch hour on weekdays. My favorite thing about this place apart from the crust is that you can customize your order from any type of toppings, sauce, to even making the pizza half of something else you want. They are made in good proportion and sizes so you will get your money’s worth.

I’m not a NY pizza fanatic and when someone associated this place to a NY pizzeria, I should have taken the hint.
Breading is thin, which I like, but the topping and sauce was scarce.
I hate crust/​breading on pizzas in general, but when you have no sauce or toppings, mine as well eating bread stick.
Maybe I’m being harsh…
I mean it wasn’t to that degree, but would not try again.

This particual Blue Moon has some issues when serving food in the proper sequence. For example, 1) You do not bring out apps 2 to 3 mins prior to serving the pizza. 2) You do NOT bring out salads AFTER serving said pizza and after we had to remind the waitress we ordered them.
Also, and this angers me the most at bartenders. Learn how to pour a pint of Guinness the correct way! No reason to have Guinness on tap if your not going to follow the Guinness Tap Guidelines! Because your doing Guinness a great dis-​service of serving it badly. Just put some IPA hipster beer in its place.

Consistently delicious; obviously well-​managed as I observe on a weekly basis upon ordering delivery. The pizza is delicious and the marinara sauce is seriously THE BEST I’ve had ITP. Great job managers! Great job chefs! And a special thanks to the sweet gal who brought my order out to my car once when my son was asleep. Y’all are doing it right!

Good food, excellent service:
First time at Blue Moon Pizza. We ordered several small dishes, both gluten free and regular margherita personal pizzas, and a Stromboli.
The small dishes (portabella mushrooms and tomato caprese) were excellent; the pizza and Stromboli very good.
***Because we ordered both regular and gluten free options of the margherita pizza, there was a mix up in the kitchen and they didn’t bring the regular pizza out with the rest of the meal (an understandable mistake). The wait staff was quick to notice the mistake and without our asking, a manager quickly came to our table, corrected the problem and informed us the regular pizza would be free because of the mix up. This was not expected or demanded by us, and I wanted to mention it here as an example of great customer service.
In addition, from the start of the meal the wait staff was courteous and cheery.
We’ll be back!

Blue Moon is pretty great. Fantastic service. Fantastic food. What more can you ask for? I’ve sat at the bar and also been waited on at a regular table. I always have questions and each time they were answered. Now, usually when I come to Blue Moon I get pizza b/​c it’s a pizza place but last week I wanted a sandwich. I tried the Italian Flatwich. It was absolutely amazing and changed my life in a positive way lol. When I get pizza I usually do pepperoni and basil. I think that’s my favorite combo. The only problem is now when I go back it’s very hard to decide on the sandwich or pizza. Thursdays they have $ 5 martinis. My goal is to try everyone and decide my favorite. So, far the BlueMoon-​tini is my fav. I live close so if I get tipsy I can walk home. Major plus!
Parking is free, they share a parking lot with a few other restaurants and nail salon.

Great lunch special during the week.
It’s hard to find good fast pizza. I think Blue Moon Pizza does it right… highly recommend. And they have gluten free options if you so choose.

Food was great. Service is the 1 star. Finished our entire meal before seeing our waitress for 2nd time. 1st time was to take our order.
Never got our salads.
Never got an apology.
Normally a great place for lunch.
Disappointed.
