Baja Fresh

Very rude I go to Livermore Baja daily and use online coupons all the time and non of the coupons state in the fine print that they need to be printed in order to claim faulty advertising on there part will never go there again! I’d rather drive from San Ramon to Livermore to get way better service and food!!!

Horrible service!!! I waited 30+ minutes for my order and the 6 people that ordered after me were served before my order. When I asked about my food the girl said another 5 minutes! Are you kidding me it takes 35 minutes for a salad and 1 order of fajitas?! What a joke.

Horrible experience today. Spent the money and time to get cold salsa wrapped in a tortilla with almost no cheese, no sauce and nothing else in there when we ordered baja burrito. If they are so careless about making a simple burrito, they should close this business and save people time and money. it’s not just the food, the service is horrible too. we had to wait for at least 10 mins after this burrito was made, just because the staff decided to mop the floor at the slowest possible pace instead of serving the customers waiting to get their order. NEVER GOING BACK here.

This place is BAD. Poor customer service with no regard to the customer. Any body directly involved with bishop ranch should beware of this poor so called fresh food with terrible customer service.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I order lunch yesterday for my office and rec’d TWO CONFIRMATIONS of my order to be picked up at 11:50 a.m. When I arrived at 11:45 I was informed by their counter person that my order would not be ready UNITIL 2:00 P.M. based on the order in which it was rec’d. I asked why no one called and explained that I had an office full of people expecting lunch; he asked me if I wanted to talk to the owner (who was cooking at the time), I said yes, but the owner FLATLY REFUSED TO EVEN TALK TO ME. Keep in mind my family visits this very location approximately once a week — they know my face — but still just don’t care apparently. Very embarrassing and downright humiliating. I had to return to my office empty-​handed. I love Baja Fresh but will NEVER return to this location. TREATED HORRIBLY!

This place is great if you’re looking for a healthier fast-​food option. They’re service is quick and food consistently good. It’s also a pretty good deal, especially since my kids usually get a $ 3 rice and bean plate each. We’ve come here with the family 1 – 2 times a week for several years and only had a complaint about our food once; the rice didn’t seem the same as it usually is, and they quickly replaced it.
My only complaint about this Baja is that it feels like it might need an update.
Overall though I highly recommend for families on the go!

Always my first stop when I’m in town! Fresh, made to order food. Great flavours, clean restaurant and friendly staff — not much more you can ask for!

They deserve a solid 3 stars. As for the quality of the food, this of course is a chain restaurant and I don’t expect anything beyond my expectations.
Friendliness– the people working here are mostly always friendly, especially the managers.
Food– I order the nacho burrito every time I come (even though I shouldn’t for diet reasons) but it has always been my favorite there. At this location it is served very in consistently. Sometimes the burrito falls apart after the first bite; other times there’s barely any thicken; the chips are all the way at the bottom etc. overall though it has been a lot better lately, they seem to have been able to find a reliable kitchen staff that makes consistently good food.
Cleanliness– by far this is one of the cleanest I have ever been to. The salsa bar is usually always clean and stocked well. Tables are also usually clean and the floor is swept.
All in all, food consistency is definitely something they need to work on. But like I mentioned before, this is after all a chain restaurant and you get what you pay for.

Hair in my salad. Not just one. Ew. I am thoroughly grossed out. Last time the inside of my burrito was cold. As in, I was biting into cold shredded cheddar. Lost my appetite two times in a row. I talked to the manager and she was clueless.
Generally speaking, I’ve never seen a Baja Fresh get such low reviews overall.

Some good, some bad, so-​so for fast food. Shrimp tacos was good, carnitas taco eh, nachos are a hot mess, pretty bad, almost rather have Taco Bell. Sadly, it’s relatively cheap and fast so we’ll probably back.

I eat here often. Decent food. Fish tacos are my favorite. Stays pretty clean. Over priced for what you get though.

Bad customer service, they’re continuing to mess up my order, the place is hardly ever clean with dirty tables and dirty floors. And most of the time I only see 2 people working which often leads to long lines and unhappy customers. The one good reason I keep coming back is for the pico de gallo salsa… which is good…
but today was the worst of all customer service, I ordered a steak burrito and waited over 14 minutes for them to just tell me there isn’t any steak available. I told them that is something you should already know before I ordered, much less have me wait to give me the bad news. 2 stars is over rated for this burrito shop!

Just really sad food. Tables weren’t clean, burrito was so poorly folded that as soon as I picked it up, the other end opened up. Tortilla was over grilled that it was dry like a matzo cracker.

Great place for lunch or dinner. I love the wahoo baja bowl, the fish has a nice fresh citrus taste and is super filling. They also have a wonderful salsa bar with options for all kinds of tastes. I love adding extra cilantro and pico de gallo to my bowl, it gives it an extra fresh kick. They also have different size guacamole options, the pronto guacamole is great to split between two people. Only down side is they only serve mexican rice, I wish they had some lime cilantro rice or even plan instead.

I ordered a BBQ chicken salad and chips with guacamole through the eat24 app and came over to pick up. When I got the there, the girl and manager informed me immediately that there were no pickup orders at this location. I said I had definitely ordered and they insisted it wasn’t there and I had ordered at the wrong location. As I was pulling up the receipt on my phone, the cashier told me again that I didn’t have an order there, very rudely I might add. I finally shut them up when I showed the manager the receipt. She then said she would make my salad.
A few minutes later I get my salad and take it home. Avocado and cheese missing and the whole tomato cut into giant quarters. Pretty mediocre for a manager being present.

I am all for encouraging teenagers to find work, but they not only should be trained properly, but should also be supervised. I came across this Baja Fresh right before an appointment in the area, hoping to grab a quick burrito. I figured it would be really quick since I was the ONLY customer in there. The young girl at the register who seemed very new took my order. It took a little while before my burrito was ready (like, almost ten minutes), which was strange because it was a simple carnitas burrito, not some complicated «made to order» item.
When I noticed my order was ready, the same girl grabbed my burrito & was chatting it up with another female employee for a good minute or so before she gave it to me, and from what I could overhear their conversation was not about my order. When I got back into my car to take a bite, the burrito seemed unusually cold, as if the filling was almost at room temperature when it was prepared. I was not impressed. At that point I needed to get to my scheduled appointment so I wasn’t able to go back to ask them to correct it.
I will go back to Baja Fresh (in a pinch) since their food is usually pretty tasty, but c’mon Baja Fresh Magagers! Make sure these young kids do their job right!

Consistent, delicious, and my daughter loves to B.S. with me here so it’s a good weekday spot!

Why all the hate? Cannot for the life of me understand how this place could have an average 2.5 stars.
Stopped by to grab a quick lunch for all the people helping my mom move to her new place & we got chicken burritos, veggie burritos & bean & cheese burritos
They were all scarfed down & more than one person actually went out of their way to ask me where I found them & if that’s not love, I don’t know what is
Out of the lot, mine was the B&C & there were *tons* of black beans & lots of melty cheese. The tortillas were soft & steamed fresh
Too bad I couldn’t have added sour cream or guac to my burritos –but maybe I could have & I just overlooked that option. I was totally frazzled that afternoon & wasn’t paying attention to all their menu options
Free chips & we brought back a sampling of each of their salsas & the mango was loved by the person who I never thought would have loved the mango & their spicy salsa was indeed spicy — just the right amount of kick to it
So yeah, chain or not, this place delivered good eats & for that, I’m a huge fan!

I’ve had many, many negative experiences here. One includes 3 trips back because of them not getting my burrito right, the manager calling me a liar, and after 45 minutes and 3 trips, was offered a bottle of water to «take care of me». I’ve been told they don’t have any rice. I’ve seen their salsa bar half empty, and salsa’s that look like they should at the least be stirred. Dirty tables. Just a few of my experiences to name a few…
I’ve never had a complaint about their food, other than that sometimes it’s piping hot (not spicy, literally too hot to eat). Their salsa’s are great, their guacamole is incredible, and chips are usually fresh and warm. Burrito’s are always full. No complaints on this end.
The reason for the low-​rating is the many run in’s I have had here revolving around service. and cleanliness. There’s more than experience than the food in a restaurant.

The service here was alright. Our cashier was very patient with us fiddling over what we should get. I ended up getting a steak burrito, baja style. I didn’t like avocado and wasn’t aware that there would be guacamole in it but the flavor was covered up nicely! The burrito overall was just a rad warm but not hot.
I liked how they had many different salsas in their salsa station for your tortilla chips! The price was average, considering the quality of the burritos. I would def choose chipotle over this place.
