Lisa is excellent!!! She is a God send! I’m so bummed I didn’t find her sooner, I’ve lived here for over a year… She found just the right sore spots even from the first massage… I already feel better, and planning on booking at least two or three more sessions… Before she heads out for her maternity leave… Super happy for her, and looking forward to when she returns :-)

I just had my first massage with Lisa and I’m so excited I found her! What a gem! I came in yesterday with neck pain. Today my neck is happy again.
There are people who put love and care into what they do and it shows. Lisa is a very gifted healer and sincere in her care.
It sometimes feels rare to find sincerity and care in our fast pace world. People like Lisa are gems.
When you go in for a massage you want care and sincerity. I’m a huge fan of Lisa! She’s my new favorite go to place for a real massage. I know I can walk away feeling truly revived!

After a long, stressful month, my body was screaming, «Calgon — take me away!»
But instead of Calgon, Lisa with Revive Bodywork came to the rescue.
I enjoyed a very satisfying, nurturing massage from her last week. It was my first visit there. And I’ve already booked my second massage for this weekend (if that’s any sign of how good my first one was).
Lisa is very kind and and approachable. She wasn’t too airy-​fairy/​hippy-​dippy, like some Marin massage therapists. I showed up 10 minutes late, and she was super cool about it. She could’ve said, «Sorry, your massage is only 50 minutes now.» But instead, she honored the full hour. And i think she even went a few minutes over.
The location is a bit odd — it’s an old Victorian house in a downtown San Rafael neighborhood. The actual massage room is pretty basic and bare-​bones. And just like most massage therapists, Lisa plays that Enya-​like soothing music while working on your body. But who cares? You could be playing Guns N Roses for all i care, as long as you give me a good massage — which she did.
She was very good about checking in with me every few minutes. She always made sure that the pressure she was applying wasn’t too much, and that I was always comfortable. It only took a few minutes before I fell in to a relaxed slumber while she worked on all the knots and aches in my back and neck.
The whole one-​hour massage was only $ 75, which is very reasonable if you compare it to the prices at most day spas. I definitely think the experience was worth the money. And I just saw on Unilocal that she’s offering a special $ 75 for $ 50 deal.
50 bucks for an hour of bliss is pretty hard to pass up, people. Give Revive Bodywork a try!

I’ve had a lot of massages in my life from different body workers and Lisa is one of the best. She’s very professional yet friendly and knows her way around muscles, aches and pains. Also, the environment she works in is very nice, warm and comfortable. Overall a very wonderful experience.
