What a pleasant surprise to have dined with delight there just last night for the first time. I forgot while there, that it was housed within the McGuiness Park Golf Club. Our great time commenced with meeting our server, Ali an adorable, knowledgeable, and delightful person who was able to tell us without hesitation each of the vodka and tequila brand available making our choice of beverages to make an easy and informed choice. We were impressed. She spent time with us patiently explaining the limited but eclectic menu and sides, carefully prepared and executed, even though the place was busy and she was attending 6 tables at a busy time. Our choices were promptly filled and delivered with a flourish. The presentation was quite impressive and the taste sensations excellent . I would have given The Club 5 Stars but according to the NEW lessersound«the color of sound» smartphone app, obtainable at , a part of the new and emerging Sound Awareness Movement, the sound decibel readings there were somewhat high during this busy and fun time during our dinner last night. Notwithstanding, it now has been added to our favorites list

Well, I don’t expect much from country club restaurants, especially courses that have 9 holes and family friendly. In my experience the food isn’t their main focus, apparently the service is definitely not one of their strong points either. I was having a great Sunday off but I wish I had just went to the driving range and not have eaten at this place. Service was the absolute worst I have had in a very long time. I have worked in the service industry for years and trust me, I know how difficult it can be when you have a large section. Although, when you have a nearly empty section outside with a drink/condiment station and bussers to help serve your table and you still can’t get them a glass of water or condiments after 5 minutes of bringing their burger out… WHENITSRIGHTTHERE! I can see condiments and my food is getting cold, awesome. Anyway, it didn’t ruin my day but my wallet was insulted, terrible expensive salad, burger tasted like the grill hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the service was very disappointing.

The slow and inattentive service really hurts this restaurant, particularly for a Sunday lunch on the patio. It could be so much more, as the setting has potential. Food is decent and they have a full bar, but it is a bit off the beaten path and probably not worth your time unless you are here for golf/mini golf and starved for a bite to eat. We currently live nearby so I really wanted this to be a regular place on our rotation, but no such luck. Had a good burger here almost a year ago, but overall I’d say there are far better dining options.

The food is very good here — nicely cooked entrees paired with tasty sides. We have enjoyed lunch and dinner here after playing many times.

We had our family Christmas party here. Carol was great, quickly adding an extra table at the last minute. Our more than 25 family members were all pleased with the food — New York steaks, half roasted chickens and red snapper dishes. When researching for the party I visited the main restaurant with a couple of family members. All our lunch selections were wonderful. And when it was time to book, Erick couldn’t have been more helpful! We will definitely be back next year.

I have to say I had the absolute best dinner here. I ordered the wedge salad with steak and was blown away by how fantastic the steak was. Admittedly I was really hungry but I still give this 5 stars…

We had such a lovely lunch here. We brought my father in law for his birthday and enjoyed the lovely patio, excellent service and delicious food. It was a great afternoon and it meant the world to all three generations in attendance.

We had a family meal at McInnis last night. The food and service was disappointing. The skirt steak was good but small. The ‘Sheppard Pie’(incorrect spelling) was dry. The salmon was not fresh and it was cold. The Calamari was good but the serving small. It was better before!

Welcome to 1990! We came here by accident, thinking we made reservations someplace else. Walking in, I was overwhelmed by all of the late-eighties/early-nineties turquoise. Turquoise carpet, turquoise chairs, turquoise paint, turquoise turquoise turquoise!!! LOL Aside from the décor, the food was pretty good. I was not sure what to order because they didn’t have chicken on the menu that wasn’t in pasta or a sandwich. I usually go for a grilled chicken breast or roasted half chicken, but they didn’t offer either. I ended up getting the cheeseburger, which was well grilled. It was pretty good, but burgers are hard to mess up. I also ordered the house salad, which came with a lot of fresh veggies and a good amount of spring mix. I’ll admit, it was better than I expected. Our server seemed a little confused at times, but it was a Sunday dinner shift, so it was busy. He was kind and courteous, though. There were a couple fruit flies around and I killed one, but the other continued to bother us. All in all, not a bad restaurant, but the prices are a little unreasonable. I probably would not return unless this place got a total makeover. Even then, I’d be hard pressed, but I’d like to see the changes made.

I dined here for the first time ever. Five of us came on a Friday night to see the band and have dinner and drinks. After reading many negative reviews on Unilocal, our expectations were low regarding the food. After actually experiencing the food, I give it four strong stars. We each had a different menu selection. I had the half rocky organic chicken(a special) that was roasted and smothered in a mushroom, rosemary, burgundy sauce, and came with a creamy red pepper risotto. It was perfect in every way. The chicken was flavorful and very juicy, and the sauce and side… simply delicious. I was only able to eat about a third of the huge meal, so my company got to sample the rest of it, and they thought it was fantastic. My daughter had the Ceasar salad topped with fried calamari… again, perfectly executed! We had a great dinner, and the FREE entertainment was fantastic. The food was excellent, and not overpriced at all. We will absolutely return!

I’m rarely picky when it comes to restaurants. When I’m with *that one person* who raises a stink about their dish not being prepared right, I always roll my eyes and hope that the waiter doesn’t spit in my food. But this place sucked. It took us 50 minutes to get our food. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and I could have made better at home. There was no sauce. It was as if they’d taken some spaghetti, drizzled it with olive oil, and threw some pancetta in it. I don’t know if the sauce separated or what. I didn’t even take the leftovers, and I’m a firm believer in leftovers. The good side is that what everyone else at my table had looked good: the club salad, buffalo wings, and onion soup were pretty good. It just sucks that I had to leave hungry. At least they didn’t charge us for that awful dish. The prices were also so-so. $ 15.95 for crappy carbonara? Go to La Toscana on Redwood Hwy for some good pasta that’s a few bucks cheaper. The worst came when this crazy old woman lit up a cigarette(we were sitting on the patio), and we had to talk to three people to get someone to tell her that you can’t smoke at restaurants(duh). We spoke to both of the busboys, and all they did was snicker to each other. They didn’t even tell anyone. Our waiter finally said something when he smelled the smoke, after she was half done with her cigarette. As we left, I looked at all the other dishes that everyone else was eating, and none of them looked appealing. Very basic, boring food. I definitely will not return to this place, ever.

If you golf here and are starving, I guess it’s your best choice. However, if you have any other choices and I’m sure you do, go for it! My friend and I went here after a movie at the Century Theaters down the road because it was close to the theater. I can only say«ewww». While the menu looks good, the food is really gross. My friend had a reuben and they looked at her like she was nuts when she asked if they were going to grill it. They actually weren’t! I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad. When our meals arrived, my friend’s meal had burned bread. My «chicken» was crumbly and disgusting. It seemed like scraps. Our waitress was distracted. I also have a «thing» about menus with incorrect spelling and the soup of the day was«CALM chowder». No one noticed this??? Stay away! Drive anywhere to avoid this place.

Ate here with my mom and fiancé last night. I can see why the menu might not get great reviews, especially at lunch — the dinner menu had a lot of lackluster options. The specials, however, were very good. I had the Osso Bucco with Sweet Potato Risotto(seasonal special) and both were very flavorful. The risotto wasn’t undercooked, as it so often is, and the osso bucco was generous. My fiancé had the grilled salmon, and while it’s hard to really jazz up salmon, it was cooked well with nice deep grill marks on it. My mom had the pot roast, apparently a staple there, and it was very tender. Normally I’d be giving 3 stars right now because neither the osso bucco nor the salmon came with vegetables on the plate(not even generic steamed!) which I feel makes for an imbalanced plating. However, we had 2 – 3 people looking after us, refilling the bread and the water, and our server even took my plate to the kitchen to keep it warm when I had to step away for 5 minutes. I was impressed with the attention to service, so they get 4 stars. Suggestions for you: Come for dinner, Order off the specials. Suggestions for them: Vegetables with all entrees.

Came here with family on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We sat outside, and it was very nice. The covered shade, the little birds, and the peaceful ambiance are great. It took some adjusting to get used to the PING! of the driving range, but it isn’t so bad. They have a full bar to order from, and it kind of looked like fun in there. Their wine list is also full, but not overly fancy. The prices for some items seemed a little pricey, but there were some good values on the menu, too. Could have been a dinner thing, lunch might be cheaper.

I used to go here about once a week before I got a little smarter(and cheaper) and started packing a lunch. This was one of my favorite restaurants because the waitstaff was so nice and professional, and the food so tasty. It’s a little pricey for the atmosphere(maybe it needs a remodel?), but price is right in line with quality and portion size. It’s nice to eat outside, which is a shaded patio right behind the golfers. Two kinds of bread are served with olive oil/vinegar: an egg bread, and a sourdough. My standby entrees were the Grilled Chicken Sandwich(pesto aioli, peppers, onions, ciabatta bread -$ 11.95), and the Prawn Crostini Salad(sauteed prawns, tuscan garlic bread, over greens — $ 15.95). Now, I eat the Spaghetti Putanesca(olive, capers, tomatoes and artichokes instead of anchovies -$ 15.95), and my boyfriend has always loved the Club Sandwich. Probably the nicest restaurant in Terra Linda. Good for business lunch or just a nice lunch yourself or with friends. Never tried the place for dinner, though I’ve seen advertisements for special events. (thanks for details)

Been eating here 5 times per year for the past 11. I’ve been to 4 corporate catered events here as well. I lived ½ mile away down the street for 11 years And my retail musical instrument shop was 4 blocks away for 5 of those years — Um, I’m a local. Food has gotten remarkably better since 1997. Big portions, good flavors. Low prices for the quality and room ambience. Service is always friendly, fast and accurate. Menu is Americana with some Hawaiian, Italian, Asian and Mexican«fusion» elements thrown into the mix. Fully stocked bar is staffed by one of the best bartenders I’ve ever known. He’s from Scotland and he can mix the perfect Martini. Wine list is small — 20 bottles of the usual California suspects. Price mark-up is reasonable(for a restaurant, anyway). Go for dinner and avoid the municipal 9-hole golf lunch crowd.

Maybe Berkeley has just ruined my taste buds and made me a food snob, but this place is way too expensive for the quality and flavor of the lackluster entrees. We had a sole & rice dish, and a cheeseburger with fries. The fries were good. The burger was decent. The fish was so-so. The rice was cooked well. See what I mean? Definitely not a place that will ever exceed your expectations. On to the prices. $ 40 for lunch for two with tip, including an apple juice for our 2-year old son. A small apple juice. I don’t even think it was organic. For FOURDOLLARS. Give me a break. I know it’s a country club and that golfers probably have more money than I do on average, but you don’t have to rip people off. This isn’t a baseball stadium or an airport. I’d give them three stars if they lowered their prices. I would imagine most people who go to this restaurant probably enjoy their experience, but if you are at all money-conscious, you will be disappointed.

I can second their lack of ranch dressing. Come on now… blue cheese can work, but my fries need their ranch! The prices are out of whack, and their menu is short and ‘too to’ the point. What’s got going for them is that on a nice day, it’s a good location to eat lunch outside. Also a full bar inside for after-work drinks(if you wanna booze with people over the age of 55). Of course, I kissed my GF in the parking lot for the first time here, so… it’s got a soft spot.
