After taking up residence in AirBnB, found laundromat duty required a full, very frustrating, day. Called Alvin at Touch of Class. Owner, Sherman, showed up at my door an hour later, accepting several makeshift bundles of laundry. Clothes back next day, perfectly cleaned and folded. Never doing it myself again. Thank you!

Extremely friendly, professional service and exceptional quality! I took my wedding dress here to get dry cleaned and steamed and was extremely happy with both the results and the expedited service. If you’re in a hurry like I was, it’s easier to drop it off at their factory in San Rafael vs. Ross and they turned it around in less than 24 hrs! I was impressed that they took such good care of me, and my beloved wedding dress, and also called me when it was ready and followed up with me after to thank me for my business! My dress was a floor sample gown, so it had some dirt marks on the train and the zipper where people had tried it on, but those stains were all successfully removed. When I picked up my dress, it was nicely packaged in a long blue plastic dry cleaning bag and the sweetheart neckline was perfectly steamed and had a cardboard thing hanging in the bodice of the dress to hold its shape. I couldn’t be happier and I’m especially grateful to Alvin who is a partner at this family owned business, and his sister, who both showed excellent and professional customer service from end to end. Can’t beat the price too in all of Marin and bay area for that matter! Thank you, Touch of Class!

Coming from La Jolla, Ca it has been very difficult finding a great, honest, reliable, reasonably priced dry cleaners in Marin County. My fiancé dropped off three dresses to be cleaned and one of the dresses to be fixed and altered. I picked up two of the three dresses and was charged $ 22 no big deal if that’s the going rate for two short dresses to be cleaned. One of the dresses was still dirty. The biggest DISAPPOINTING factor was when we went to pick up the third dress to wear for a wedding and it was not correctly altered (they only had to sew a small tear in the slip by the hem of the dress) and the work was incomplete. My fiancé showed the owned Alvin the terrible work they did attempting to fix the dress and he still charged her $ 22 for incomplete work. He stated that he «isn’t and expert at this field» and would call his team who did the alterations and email and call us about fixing it. He never did. I do NOT recommend this establishment for your dry cleaning needs.

A Touch of Class cleaners in San Rafael has been our cleaners for nearly 20 years. Their superb work for any and all cleaning and laundering of our personal clothing and house hold items has kept our things fresh and as beautiful as new. The owners and staff are highly professional in caring for our needs. We have referred family and friends with confidence.

A Touch of Class truly lives up to its name at all levels. We have been a customer for fifteen (15) years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their excellence in quality, customer service, the convince of their locations and ‘pick-​up/​delivery’ services, combined with incredibly friendly and engaged owners makes the task of dealing with dry-​cleaning/​laundry less a chore and more a ‘visit with friends’.
We recently moved out of San Rafael to Southern Novato and we still use A Touch of Class, even though there are 2 dry-​cleaners less than two (2) miles from our home.
I am confident that A Touch of Class will exceed your dry-​cleaning and laundry expectations.

I have been bringing my big tablecloths to this location for years.
I can bring things here or to Ross which is the second
location.
They do a beautiful job on these huge items. Things are well
done, and the price is fine. The owner has impeccable customer
service. It is always a pleasure to see him.
I had one minor issue in Ross many years ago. They immediately
apologized, took responsibility, and comped the item. Other than
one time, they really have been completely reliable.
I would say the best dry cleaner in Marin.
Also if you would like to pick up or drop off at different locations,
they will do so.

My friend has been taking his cleaning to A Touch of Class for several years, and has always been extremely pleased. I’m happy to say that they live up to their reputation of being a first-​class cleaners, and they are very personable and helpful at the same time. I highly recommend them!

Unfortunately this dry cleaners can’t do anything right. The Ross location seems to have a hard time telling you when you can expect your cleaning back. When I ask, when will my cleaning will be ready, I get a long protracted story about when it will get picked by their plant and then 2 days later at 4:30 pm it all has to get checked in so it may not be ready until the next day on and on. One time I had to go back 3 times before my dry cleaning was done. Many times I have had things returned to me with stains still on the clothes and have had to have them redone. More trips to the cleaners and wasted time. Lots of mistakes on their billing. I could list more errors but, I wont bore your. Bottom line they do not run a tight ship, wish they could be more service oriented.

This location is great for dry cleaning! The owner has great customer service and always remembers my name and asks how the family is doing. No problems ever.
