It’s the cleanest and largest 7-Eleven in the area. I’ve never had any of their fresh food, but there is a large selection of fresh food(salads, sandwiches, etc.). Parking is pretty easy. I’ve only been there during the day, but at night the parking lot is full of a lot of homeless people. I probably would feel a bit intimidated going in there at night, but that’s not really their fault.

This has got to be the worst 7 – 11 in all of Marin. As soon as the sun goes down all of the bums and randoms start hanging around. I am constantly sexually harassed by employees and the customers. I have had customers follow me around making inappropriate comments. I will no longer come to this 7 – 11. It is such a shame because it is in such a convenient location. Plus everyone loves slurpees.

This area reminds me of a Bobby Womack song, particularlly one called«Across 110th street» 2 ½ stars. This are of SR is… I know I need to put this delicately… kind of ghetto. Sorry… from the customers that were walking in and out that looked homeless to the strange man who kept staring at me outside while he counted his change and talked to his invisible friend. So the store is not located in the best of areas, the parking lot is small. I only stopped in there for one item which was reasonably priced. I wont really say anything about Customer service since it was okay, not over the top not evil cashier from gehenna.

This is my neighborhood 7 eleven and the store of my youth. My middle brother worked there in his high school days and beyond. Never mind thatr the area has deteriorated, but a neighborhood store it is no longer. They have a low variety of thigns I don’t ever consider buying. They have added some«fresh» foods to their deli area, the premade food looks toxic and well, the customer service is low to slacking. GIVEMETHEMONEY seems to be theror motto. Do You Need A Bag seems to be the only other thing sthey say as they sell you thrice marked up items you can get across the street for half the price. Customer service is an art. A clean store is a treasure. Sure, times change, but people in service should not. The mark of a good store is how to better serve the consumer. This place seems to have forgotten the roots of where it came from. I did not. I am Made in Marin and staying true to who I am and what I do with integrity. Step it up., I am not lowering my standards for you.

I like this seven eleven. I live nearby and it’s very convenient, just like a 7 – 11 should be. The service is fast, and that’s really all you want from 7 – 11. The coffee isn’t really coffee, more like coffee flavored water. It varies in quality. Tip: if you can see through it, it’s not coffee. It’s got the nachos, and guess what? People actually eat the hotdogs at this place on a pretty regular basis, that means if you get one chances are they won’t have sit there for hours and be all dry and shriveled. This place has you covered on all your beer/malt liquor and junk food needs. Oh and did I mention slurpees? The man who invented the slupee surely deserves a Nobel prize. It reminds me of the 7 – 11 on lower ocean when I lived in Santa Cruz. What with all the bums and gangsters(wannabee or otherwise). This place is real. The the older I get though, the more the homeless irritate me. But still I must say I admire the fortitude of these San Rafael bums, these guys are sucking down multiple cans of four loko and 211 steel reserve at 8:00 am. If only there was some kind cheap booze drinking Olympics, we’d have the dream team here in San Rafael. Overall I’d say four stars, but since most of the employees appear to be Indian(or something). I’m going to have to give it five stars. And also because these guys really keep the lines moving fast, I really am grateful for that(now don’t screw it up guys).

Okay, so yes, this 7 Eleven location is a watering hole for the damned and sometimes a little scary at night. Anyplace that warrants a police officer’s presence on a routine basis tells you all you need to know, but the staff is unflinchingly polite and quick. Now, if we can only do something about the lotto people who take up five minutes picking out all of their scratch and win cards.

This store is great, the customer service is the best of any 7 – 11 I’ve been to. I enjoy the rollers and hot dogs and the soda always taste fresh(not flat). I frequent here about 3x a week!

After a fun-filled night at the Mayflower… my friends and I felt the need to drop in for a super late night hot dog, nachos, snack fix… ohhh and a fix we got! I got a Spicy Bite(hot dog), nachos with TONS of chili and cheese, and another ¼ hot dog as the topper. Wow… what a great night cap with good ‘ol friends. The guys inside were really cool… not the chattiest, but they’d prepare the hot dogs for us, hand them to us, trusting that we wouldn’t run out with them, and let us put whatever toppings we wanted. We just spent the next hour outside sobering up and enjoying our food, spending time with each other… sorta catching up. What a great night… 7-Eleven… thank you for being open so late. =P

I am a huge fan of 7 Eleven in general. Maybe it’s a New Jersey thing — and my general love of late night convenience stores — but I have always been satisfied with every one of my 7 Eleven visits. No matter whether it was in Boston or California or anywhere in between — they’ve just always pulled through. I totally agree with Kris and have to give extra props to this specific store. I’ve been to this particular 7 Eleven twice now, and both times the service was friendly, genuine and extremely helpful. When I’ve needed money for tolls — their ATM has delivered. When I needed to stop by here for ice before the event today — they delivered. Literally as well. One of the kind guys behind the counter — helped me lug a huge 6 ice packet(containing 6 heavy smaller ice packets) out to the car. Plus as a novice to driving — the large — always fairly empty parking at this particular 7 Eleven location pushes it to the top of my 7 Eleven list, being that it’s easy to navigate in and out of — and feels safe. Nice staff + amazing parking = a 7 – 11 worth going out of my way for. Trust.

As a veteran and long time resident of Marin County I think I have been to every single 7 Eleven in this whole county and this one by far is my favorite. The guys who work there are really cool and if you go here enough they will remember your name, and brand of cigarette which is always kind of nice. This 7 Eleven is clean, fully stocked, well lit, and in a good location in San Rafael. This isn’t the only one in San Rafael, the other one is in the Canal area and I don’t like going to that one because of all the loitering that’s done in front of that one. Now like all 7 Elevens there is always these cast of characters outside, just ignore them and go on with your business and you should be fine. I also would like to mention that they brew up some really good affordable coffee with a variety of creamers and flavors that you can add that is exceptionally good and almost coffee house quality. I will most likely go here today because I am out of smokes!
