Look at all the negative reviews!!! I’m gonna join the ranks! Although the manager and front end staff are super nice, the pharmacy is horrible!!! They are rude, deliberately slow, obnoxious, and we’re talking both the girl you check in with and the pharmacist. You’d think they have never been trained; they act confused. Well, they’re certainly confused when it comes to customer service!!! By the way, I came directly from getting 20 stitches in my face, obviously in distress. This nasty pharmacy didn’t make it easier.

This place lacks service. That don’t know how to run a pharmacy. The manager out of sight no where to be seen.

This is the absolute worst store. The lines for the pharmacy are ridiculously long while the employees are surly and lethargic ;which is probably why the lines are long.
I’m never going back. In fact, I’m pulling all my prescriptions and moving to CVS.
Avoid this store!

Never again. Never. 3 out of 4 experiences I have had with the pharmacy at this Walgreens have been awful. «Come back in an hour» is code for «your prescription will be ready tomorrow». And then we will make you wait another 20 minutes. When you are sick/​miserable, the last thing you want to do is sit in the waiting room and watch the overworked/​under-​staffed team hopelessly deal with a never-​dwindling line. Maybe I have just been unlucky 3 times, but I doubt it based on the other reviews.

The most completely terrible Walgreens I’ve ever been to the pharmacy sucks their complete idiots.

I would not go here. They are rude. I went in a few weeks ago. I grabbed a few items I needed and headed to the register. The girl that rang me up never greeted me. What was worse is that she was having a conversation in Spanish with her coworker the entire time. I asked her if I could have a bag three times before she completed the transaction. When I asked for a bag again before leaving she wanted me to pay. That was why I asked for one so the charge would be with my other items. This why I will never go back there again

I gave them my only id and they lost it. Asked immediately why, in the drive through, no I’d came back to me. They didn’t respond for 5 minutes. Prashatt denied they lost it, the manager denied it, I complained some more and after 30 minutes they handed it it to me. And said you’re welcome…

Horrible pharmacy staff, they have serious attitude problems. I will never go there again.

The worst pharmacy ever. Rude, never smiling, no common sense at all kind of staff. I had so many problems with them over the years. Afters hours of dealing with a never ending prescription problem, decided to take my prescription back and I went to CVS right next door. Got it filled just in 10 minutes and they were smiling too. Never going back there!

I am appalled. I come here every once and a while when I need something really quick. Yes there are homeless people out and inside of the store, but for the most part they haven’t bothered me… the staff on the other had left bad taste in my mouth.
Usually they are pretty quiet, cause they are just doing their job. But this one lady took the cake.
She was so rude to my little sister… who kindly asked if she could help her get a razor out of the case. She rudely scoffed at my sister told her she didn’t have a key and then yelled at another worker there if she had one, then walked away…
Both workers came back and one of them opened the perfume case for another customer and handed the key to the lady we has asked… who then walked away while we were looking at her.
We patiently waited to for someone else to help us when the same lady yelled at my sister from down the aisle so rudely about what she wanted. We walked down said which one she wanted and then she locked the case and walked off again… I guess policy doesn’t allow us to walk our products up… then she drop the razors for someone else to ring up and walked away again.
Her attitude was so off putting… especially to my sister who was sick and just trying to get a few things… I held my tongue cause I didn’t want to cause a scene.

We get all of our prescriptions filled here, the drive thru pharmacy is a nice benefit when it is not 3 or 4 cars deep… lol
Parking is kind of limited and metered in this particular Walgreen’s lot, and the City of San Rafael does not miss a beat when checking for expired parking meters in this lot.
The staff in the pharmacy tend be very efficient most of the time and are courteous for the most part.
There can be a wait when purchasing non pharmacy items at the check lanes, for this store tends to be busy at times and will only have one cashier on duty. But, having worked in retail myself, I understand you have a budget for hours that can be scheduled.

Location is great but not great… its across the Ritter Center… so lots of homeless in and out of the store. No customer service sucks in the front. Pharmacist are nice but ghey are way under staff for such a busy pharacy… i always see 3 people waiting jn line no matter what time it is. Usually not stocked and asking for help looking for something expect an attitude…

Just a shout out the manager at this Walgreens. His name is Manny. I just want to say super thank you. Reason why, I bought a box of Zantac and walked out the store and went home only to find the box of Zantac had been tampered with and there were no pills in the box. I returned to Walgreens with my receipt, I did not think they would believe me, however… Manny did. He exchanged the box. So again Thank you Manny! Your so awesome bro!

The. Worst. Walgreens.
Dirty. Poorly stocked. Full of shady characters. And the Pharmacy is a joke. Not one single person in the pharmacy handles the same prescription the same. The first time I brought it in — they have to call the doctor. The second time I brought in the same prescription — the date is incorrectly written, can’t fill it. The third time I brought in the SAME prescription — I need to show my drivers license — to DROP IT OFF. The fourth time — no need to call the doctor, no driver’s license necessary. What a bunch of fools. Avoid if at all possible.

The pharmacy here has horrible customer service! They do not care about the patient at all! I will NEVER go here again!!!

I find what I want and always a little more. Its a great place. Fast, efficient, and great value on all drugs, cosmetics, food, beverages, photos and more. My choice.

It would be easier to rob this store than try to get a prescription filled.
Fresh, same-​day scrip plus a call-​ahead from my doctor and another Walgreens did not matter, they refused to release any medication and were argumentative when asked why. The woman working the register argued with customers, and her manager came out and argued some more. The whole ordeal was a joke.
Never go here.

I can’t stand this place! The restroom is still out of order after several months. I was told that there was a dispute between San Rafael and Walgreens. Next, the homeless loitering in the front of the store really gives me the creeps. The only time I will go to this store is if I did not have another option. It’s the only drug store that is open 24 hours per day. That is why they get two stars not just one.
Don’t even get me started on their customer service it’s just the shits!

What can I say besides the obvious?
For a Walgreens, this is one of the better ones, but that doesn’t mean much.
They have a couple nice employees, but as usual most of them are awful and bottom-​of-​the-​barrel when it comes to customer service.
Not only do they not let you use their bathroom, but they direct you to a store across the street which they claim DOES have a bathroom. The store they direct you to does NOT have a bathroom (for good reason, they are a pet store and they often use the bathroom as space for the animals), but will actually direct you to a bathroom.
The funny thing is, the pet store has been telling Walgreens for MONTHS that they don’t have a bathroom.
Often the pharmacists are rude. I’ve been lucky and have caught a couple nice ones, but I’ve also had some dreadful experiences.
The most fucked up thing about this Walgreens though is their lack of security for not only their customers but (in my opinion) more importantly their employees. A big homeless guy came in and cut in front of the entire line. When he left, the woman at the register apologized to me and explained that if she’d said anything he would have flipped out and started screaming and throwing things… like last time.
LIKE LAST TIME?!
When the hell did businesses decide to allow crazy people to abuse their staffs? This woman at the register probably has to deal with this guy every day… what a shitty position to put somebody in.
Walgreens doesn’t care about their employees or their customers. Frankly, I hope Walgreens goes out of business somehow. But, if you must go, this is one of the better ones…
