Chela’s Beauty & Barber Shop

Since I moved to San Pedro 10 yrs ago, I had tried many Hair Salons in town and was disappointed almost every time. They may have all looked pretty and charged a pretty high price too… so you would expect to get your hair done and leave feeling pretty … but NO… usually I wasn’t completely satisfied with the way they cut my hair or styled it so I usually didn’t return a second time.
One day I noticed a sign on the same street where I live and it said Chela’s Beauty and Barber Shop… so I thought, why not try it. What else do I have to lose except maybe a few hairs or go bald !
.Well, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Angela, and with a loving smile she said she can take care of me. … This was over 5 years ago and I have been going back every 2 months ever since.
She cuts or trims your hair exactly how you ask her to, highlights, or dyes it to the shade you want, and is so gentle with her touch, be prepared to want to fall asleep right there in the chair!
Her sister Suzie has also done my hair and ditto about her… Also a joy !
And their Mom, Chela is there usually giving haircuts to the guys. She sure raised two beautiful daughters. My thanks to her !
I would definitely say to try this little hidden gem in town!

Been coming to Chela’s for 10 years. She always does a great job on my haircuts! Never had a bad haircut from her! Also had her daughters, both Angela and Suzie cut my hair and they do a terrific job too! I only come for haircuts but they are a beauty salon too! Nice, friendly, professional family owned business! They care about their customers and it shows. They also are fair on their prices. If u want your did in the Heart of San Pedro, go to Chela’s.
