Randy Talistu the owner of The Furnace Man has done our heating and air conditioning on two of my homes. I have referred them to many friends and clients. They are a company you can trust to get the job done right. They are a good honest company… I highly recommend them. They also did my daughters home… so obviously I have great trust in them!

They diagnosed my noisy heater as the blower, which I expected. They tried to sell me a $ 2,000+ replacement furnace(with some justification, given advances in energy efficiency) — and when I resisted they charged me about $ 500 to replace the blower, after agreeing the heat exchanger posed no safety hazard. It took me a couple of phone calls for them to agree to credit the hour for the first visit against the repair bill, but they agreed. Then, they had some problem removing the internals of the fan, which added back that hour and resulted in the total charge above. No way for me to know if they should have seen the problem when they bid the job. They showed up the day they said they would, and fixed it the same day — albeit with a couple of extra elapsed hours of outage. It’s been a month and things are still working, so they’re competent, and their bids were competitive with others I called. Still, there may be better alternatives.
