Saucedo’s Wrecker Service

Extremely unprofessional and only cares about getting your money. Got my car towed twice by same people in my own apartment complex due to misunderstanding. Still had to pay over $ 300.

All they do is sit in the parking lot all day waiting for people to park and walk around the corner so they can tow them. A scumbag company in my opinion. Instead of saying «hey you can’t park there» they try and be sneaky about it. One employees wife has been seen calling her husband up and giving him info on who to tow. I see her in the jack in the box a lot. Disgusting business.

This place is the worst. The customer service is absolutely wretched, they are entirely too strenuous on who they tow, and don’t even consult with the apartment complexes to see if the car is actually registered or not. This service should be illegal.

These people show up and tow people at the drop of a hat. Don’t be surprised if a black dude and a cliché fat ass white chic show up to tow you, don’t trust them!

At 1am on July 2, I received a call from my night manager that one of my trucks had broken down in San Marcos. He quickly hung up and called Austex Towing in Austin (our normal provider). Minutes before Austex showed up, Saucedo showed up and hooked up to the truck. When my driver instructed him to unhook because we have another service coming, Saucedo’s driver told him «give me a credit card or we’re towing it to the impound yard.» We didn’t want to towed to impound, so we provided a credit card. I was told the charge was $ 500. I thought it was a little high, but since it was 1am and towing back to Austin, I could live with it. NO… The $ 500 was just to move it into the parking lot in which two of our wheels were already in. So he moved the truck 50ft for $ 500.
I called the office as soon as I heard and all I got was «Whenever San Marcos PD calls, it’s automatically $ 500.» Well, we didn’t call them, San Marcos PD did. So now, in addition to the a$$ raping of $ 500, I had to pay Austex an additional $ 350 to bring it up to Austin.
They are crooks and should not be used. EVER. I will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau next.

I am here now with my boyfriend to pick up his truck after being towed from a local apartment complex. When we showed up it was 12:40p and there was no body here because lunch hours are 12−1p. So we called the number and the lady who answered said she was at lunch but would get someone to come help us then she just hung up the phone. After waiting 10 minutes with no sign of anyone coming to our aid, we called again and the same lady answered saying she was still at lunch and wouldn’t be back until 1:15p because she left for HER lunch break late. First of all, her lateness is not our problem.
Second, she should have had better communication with us and told us someone would be there in 30 minutes, not just said she would send someone over and leave us hanging with no time frame.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Despite having all the info from the insurance company they 1-​brought the wrong truck, 2– somehow didn’t have my number to call me, 3– couldn’t bother with an apology for making me wait over an hour for them to show up at the WRONG place. The dispatcher also can’t speak English, what the fuck?!

This is BY FAR the WORST towing company I have ever dealt with. If you want to deal with shady, grimy, ghetto mexicans, than this is your place. Go F*CK yourself saucedos!!!

Just to update on my last review…
I filed a claim for the damage done to my car – $ 1035! And that was the cheaper quote I found so that just shows you what kind of «service» you’ll get.
A complaint was also filed to the owner who sent me my $ 40 back in a money order.
Overall a huge headache to deal with.
