I’m a woman with long hair. I just had my first hair wash and hair cut at Best Uppercut in San Lorenzo today (by Dinna or Dana, sorry I forgot her name…). I’m so impressed by the quality at such a great rate! If you just need hair cut, forget about other fancy salons that cost you an arm and a leg (and expect big tips) yet don’t necessary measure up to the skill level of Best Uppercut! I strong recommend this salon!

I’ve known Kristen since high school and when she first started out. Now that she has her own spot she’s taken her talents to whole new level and the other stylists are just as great. Like any good shop the weekends are always busy especially Friday’s before closing. They specialize in tapers, lineups and fades and now I take my two boys here for a fresh cut.

Been coming for years. They really know how to cut your hair. Most places I been to only spend like 10 min on your hair, not upper cuts they really put time and effort on your hair. These ladies do quality work everyday, they will have you styling for the weekend or any event you want to go to.

Kristen is really skilled when it comes to cutting hair. Just make sure you know exactly what you want and she’ll take good care of you. Honestly it’s not really hard to find someone with as much talent as her, but you’ll be paying $ 20+ for their services.
11 dollars for her skill is unbeatable!!! Well… unless it was 8 dollars.

I love Best Upper-​Cut! Soon has been cutting my hair the last three months and she is incredible at her job. She puts so much care and attention to detail into cutting my hair. This nice salon is a short walk from my apartment complex so I see myself returning every month. Inside they randomly have these cool wall paintings of characters from the movie «Who Framed Roger Rabbit?», which is a strange but sweet touch. I have to mention that their haircuts are only $ 8! Their prices and quality of service beats out any chain hair cutting store like Super Cuts. I highly recommend these kind and friendly hair professionals on Meekland Ave.

Just to start off– my head is not the easiest to cut. I’ve been to many places and they have never let me down once. Best thing is that they only charge $ 8! I can easily say that their technique of cutting hair is unique and my fades come out flawless and everyone who’s cut my hair here can do it right. I have been going to this place for years and for the price its definintely worth the drive from Fremont to San Lorenzo. Not to mention they just opened another spot in S. Hayward and have yet to visit them there.
