They know how to cut my hair perfectly and speedy and they do it for a good price. I’ve been coming here for years and really like the people who work here.

My haircut was uneven. Fade on the side and back was alright but the trim with scissors on the top of the hair was not right. Hair looks puffier on one side. Another thing was she mentioned 0 fade for the side is an extra dollar. I’ve been to many Asian haircut stores and this is the first time I got charged extra. I really didn’t care because it’s only a dollar but thought that was kinda odd. It’s usually $ 8 but mine was $ 9. Haircut was done super duper quick. Maybe too quick. I’m just disappointed in the uneven haircut. Not gonna come back here again.

I’ve been coming here for YEARS! I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair but Jenny. She’s the BEST. I have her number on speed dial so whenever I need a cut, I just call to let her know what time I’ll be coming in that day. Usually, by the time I get there, she has her chair open and available which is a HUGEPLUS.

This place is lovely and has a family vibe to it since they are all related. Not only that they are open 7 days a week and the ladies that works there are friendly and will talk to you. Their décor isn’t the best, but they do get the job done and they will throw in some opinions for a nice haircut as well.

There’s a price war going on in Hayward on Hesperian Blvd. Three shops in a row with large signs advertising $ 7 haircuts. I decided to stop by Excellent Cuts, primarily because they have easy strip mall parking. It’s not a very impressive place. Very cheap décor. Sat right down and the stylist asked me how I wanted it cut. I guess maybe I didn’t explain myself very well, but my cut was a lot shorter than I was expecting. The stylist worked extremely fast and didn’t say a word the entire time I was in the chair. When I got to the counter to pay, the stylist said«$ 8». I said«what about the sign?» The stylist said«that’s for senior citizens». The stylist pointed out that the sign says in small letters on the corner«and up». This establishment seems more interested in getting you in the door than keeping you as a client.
