Papa Murphy’s

Okay, so after eating from Extreme Pizza in Richmond with the SO and friend, the SO wanted pizza AGAIN once we got home!!! TF!!! So we went to our go-​to take home pizza spot aka Papa Murphy’s in the Greenhouse Plaza.
We’ve ordered from here many times before and we’re never disappointed! We usually get the following:
Family size 16″
White garlic sauce
Italian sausage
Black olives
Minced garlic
Onion mix
There’s also a check-​in offer they have that lets you get any side item FREE ($ 5 value)! You can choose from the Thick ‘n’ Cheesy Homebaked Bread, Classic Cheesy Bread, Garden Salad ($ 2 more), Signature Salads ($ 2 more), Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cinnamon Wheel, S’mores Dessert Pizza. We’ve gotten the garlic cheesy bread multiple times and just tried their chicken Caesar salad. Their salad portions are huge! I wish they started serving wings or something like that! I love me some wings man!
In addition to their check-​in offer, they use stamp cards! So I think if you get 13 pizzas, you get your next at a discount! Pretty neat.
Service is always awesome. That Asian girl who mans the register is quick and super kind. Props to her and her team!
This Papa Murphy’s in particular has made me a fan and I can’t wait to order our custom pizza again.

Two stars because I always get my lunch salads from here but today as I was eating a club salad, I found dirt still on my lettuce! I guess I’ll have to find a new place to get salads from now.

My daughter’s school hosts monthly fundraisers every second Tuesday (thanks Greenhouse Papa Murphy’s) so we come here to support those efforts. We have stopped in when we’re craving a pizza and these take and bake pies are solid. There are a variety of combos. I have yet to try out the deep dish or thin crust artisan options or to customize a pizza. The prizes are decent and the wait time is relatively short. You take your pie, take off the plastic wrap, and voila, warm pizza in 15 minutes. Yesterday, my daughter got her own Make your Pizza children’s box courtesy of our local library summer reading program. She was thrilled.

I only come to this one on Saturdays. The staff work fast and they’re really pleasant despite the customer base. Sometimes they can get pretty ghetto.
The little Asian lady cashier is especially nice.
I know what I want and my order never changes, so I’m in and out in a flash.

These guys get five stars for trying so hard to please their customers — they actually respond to concerns – and then some people even complain because they are getting the responsive efforts they requested in the first place. Sometimes you simply cannot please people – I say hats off to the owners for trying — and shame in the customers who are never satisfied with anything—

Went back to Papa Murphy’s and they were great. Thank you for taking care of us. Love the stuffed crust pizza. Kids loved the Jack-​o-​Lantern Pizza.

I came in here today to get the $ 8 Jack O Latern pizza since today is Halloween. I didn’t even wait five minutes for this pizza. I was in and out quickly. This location has great employees. The side items are always a treat. I love their chocolate chip cookie dough. My child is a fan of their mini pizzas. It’s always a pleasure visiting here.

I love Papa Murphys. It is our go to quick cheap pizza place. Even better because if I’m out running errands earlier in the day I can pick up some pizza. Then its already in our fridge ready to cook for dinner. We love the chicken herb pizza. And the cowboy pizza is good.
My kids like to get their free make your own pizza kits. They get a coupon when summer reading is over. I live to redeem the Unilocal deal for a free side. Prices are awesome! 2 large pizzas for under $ 25! I always get one special which are $ 10. Whatever they have on the window.

Great place and great food. Owners are into giving back to the community and sponsor several fundraising events. Our pizzas are always made to perfection and true employees are very nice

Come here all the time for the stuff crust pizzas and chicken artichoke. Very clean and staff is inviting. Didn’t get the concept but all over it now. Place is hit or miss with the crowds but the staff moves fairly quickly to get you through. Try their dessert pizzas they are ready made and ready to go upon completion of your customized pie. Quick and easy once you get your pie, just preheat your oven and your ready to go.

Take home to bake in your kitchen. Good quality of ingredients. Clean & organized kitchen area. Staff welcomes you when you enter. Also suggest pizza deals to stretch your dollar! When using Unilocal you get one free item. All around good deals

I guess I like the more truly local places. This seems like a very factory oriented setup. I read that they cut their own veggies, but it tastes very. generic. The crust is just ok. I’ll keep looking for a favorite pizza place. It’s not horrible, but it’s definitely not terrific.

Make sure you always take the survey so you can use the coupon code for your next order and also make sure that you get a punch card so that once you order 12 pizza’s you will get $ 10 off your 13^th pizza.
Service is good here and this is the only Papa Murphy’s that I ever go to.

Always fresh and more cost effective then going to a pizza parlor. I have several children so this concept is great.

This Papa Murphy’s is now our regular Pizza place. I always get the thin crust as it is fairly authentic and doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. You can get thicker crusts if you like. The toppings are very good as well. I won’t recommend any one in particular because, although I have my favorites, I like them all. I like their monthly large pizza specials for $ 10. That’s a great bargain. However all pizza’s are very reasonably priced even if they’re not on sale.
Service has always been fast and friendly for us. We take the Pizza home, pop it in the oven and 15 – 20 minutes later you have a good Pizza.
As others have said, they support community fundraisers. Kudos to them for that.
We haven’t tried any of their side orders so no comment there.
If you like fairly authentic pizza at a good price and don’t mind popping it in the oven, I highly recommend Papa Murphy’s.

I am writing this update after being called repeatedly from the owner requesting I update my review. I don’t think I should be reminded weekly that this needs to be done. I had originally told the owner that I would write an update. I am now frustrated that I keep receiving telephone calls. One day I received two within an eight hour time frame. REALLY!!! So here is your updated review… please stop calling me!!!
When I went in a day or two later to bring the foreign object to the owner, the woman who I spoke to previously who stated she was the manager «Lynn» came over to see what I was bringing over. She then said, «Make sure you get that.» Come on now. what am I going to do with this? I never wanted anything to come from this incident. I never wanted anything free. It was as a courtesy to let them know this happened. At that time, I found out that the manager Lynn was actually an owner. That is even worse. How can your train your employees to have good customer service when you have none!!!
I finally went back and used my free pizza card. Ever since then, the phone calls have not stopped. It is not even worth the free pizza. I am even more upset now. Yes this time the pizza was good and foreign object free. But I expect nothing less.
I have gone back a few times since and the pizza was good those times too. I just don’t believe in «forcing» someone to change a review.

I had forgotten all about Papa Murphy’s. We recently reunited and I couldn’t be happier. It is the same feeling when you find some cash in a jacket pocket, SCORE! It was always there waiting to be discovered.
Called in a large 4 topping custom stuffed pizza. The pizza was ready and waiting when I arrived. The employees were nice, the place was clean and busy with fellow pizza lovers (which is a good sign). I used a coupon and took advantage of the free side check-​in offer through Unilocal.I choose chocolate chip cookie dough but can’t promise the dough will make it onto a sheet pan and into the oven.
I followed the detailed instructions and the pizza turned out prefect! It was jam packed with toppings and had lots of fresh cheese oozing out. The herb tomato sauce was delicious.
Bottom line Papa Murphy’s is affordable, fresh, delicious and convenient. I will do my part to keep our friendship alive and come back soon.

Wow, totally blown away by how good my pizza was.
I’ve had Papa Murphy’s before, but it was never this impressive. Hand made in minutes by a wonderfully paitent employee who even helped us with the baking instructions.
The thing cooked quickly and tasted fantastic. The Herb Chicken Mediterranean deLITE was spectacular. I will order it again, heck; maybe tomorrow. You can’t beat the price, especially when you «check-​in.» Free side item. Cheesy Bread for the win!
