I came here a lot during my middle school years. Ordering my usual-shrimp fried rice. After five or six years, I decided to come back for more food; however, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered my usual to go, but I found 5 strands of hair in my food. It wasn’t even one, but five. Like come on man. Waste of my time and money. I wanted to get a refund because i wasted $ 5 on a piece of shit. Never coming back here ever again. You just lost a customer.

I was Hungry and I felt like a Breakfast Sammich . So I jumped into my Whip White Rabbit and Rolled to Lori“s Deli. Lori“s Deli is a cute little Café in the Washington Manor. It is located in an older Strip Mall. Lori“s Deli is and interteresting Fusion of American, Chinese, and Vietnamese Food. It is Family Owned . I parked in the Stripmall and Rolled into Lori“s and was Promptly Greeted. I ordered Lori“s Breakfast Sammich — 1 Egg, 2 Pieces Of Bacon, 1 Slice Of American Cheese and 2 Slices Of Wheat Bread. All for -$ 2.75 . I had my Sammich 10 Minutes later. It was pretty Hearty for $ 2.75 And Served on a real plate . I Munched out and Rolled Out.

Although I’ve lived in San Leandro my whole life, the Manor is completely foreign to me– until recently. I’m starting to discover all the greatness of this side of town! I drove past this place many times going to and from work, but never bothered to stop until my coworker text me asking if I wanted a breakfast sandwich. She came to work with a DELICIOUS breakfast sandwich consisting of egg, cheese and BACON on a toast. droool. After getting breakfast from her many times I decided to go to this place myself. It is a small mom and pop shop– and never busy at 7am! For going in so early, the lady at the counter is very nice and sweet. They have a large variety of food– breakfast, breakfast sandwiches, lunches, and even some asian dishes. This breakfast sandwich is the reason I come. It’s only $ 2.50 plus tax and made FRESH! What more can I ask for when its 7am and I need a quick breakfast?! They even do phone orders! They take credit card but you need to have a $ 7.00 minimum. My coworkers and I definitely gave them great business– too bad we don’t work around the corner anymore but I will keep stopping here to get a breakfast sammy!

Been passing this place for 12+ years as my bank is in same plaza. I never really thought of stopping by but I wanted some chicken noodle soup and remembered this place had it. It has a large variety of breakfast items and typical deli food but also some Asian dishes. My chicken noodle was decent, broth not flavorful enough. I never see this place have much customers which led to me not trying it before. The prices are good and portion seems good. I think this place is just not in a good place for this food. Not near much businesses, more of a residential area. Their breakfast sandwich is a good deal at $ 2.50-$ 3.00.

I’m so excited to finally discover another piece of gem in San Leandro, that I’ve just blantly ignored and drove by many time for the past 10 years, until one morning on my way to work and I was starving. I couldn’t turn down the 2.50 Breakfast Sandwich special banner hanging above the back of the building. I decided to head in and see what this was all about. It’s very clean inside, small like your mum and pop shop, a couple of customers, quiet but cozy sort of setting. It was really clean inside and well lit. They have an old school menu with the letters falling off, not just a typical diner with american options but breakfast sandwiches, lunch specials, asian inspired dishes and fish and chips as well. I opted for that breakfast sandwich which comes with a fried egg, bacon, cheese and choice of wheat or white bread. Though the picture said 2.75 don’t be alarmed, it’s really 2.50 plus tax which comes out to be like 2.73. She’s so friendly and always has a smile on her face especially at 7 in the morning. Knows my order and packs it really nicely. The best breakfast sandwich in a brown paper bag I could ask for, and it’s always cut in half! Perfect for sharing. The sandwich itself is on point, all my favorite things into one! Bacon(never brunt, always crispy and fatty), eggs(cooked over hard), melted american cheese and extremely well crunchy toasted wheat/white toast. So phenomenal for a breakfast sandwich, I’m here every morning before work. The fact that it’s made fresh to order to better than anything Starbucks can do, real eggs get it(like the kind you crack and fry, not drop into a mug and microwave). They have many options, but I’m only really here for the special bfast sammy. I would highly suggest coming in and it’s a quick couple of minutes to get your order in and out. While I was waiting, their fresh fruit were HUGE watermelon triangle slices, noms noms. It looked delicious. San Leandro, you keep doing your thing with the local business. I’ve been getting my morning breakfast and protein in daily thanks to Lori!

Pretty much everything a small diner/café should be. I came in for breakfast and had classic eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Tasted like it should, and nothing fancy. I really liked seeing so many low prices on the menu. Service was great and given with a smile. That’s worth a lot right there. Clean place too. I’ll have to come back for lunch one day.

Like some others that have reviewed Lori’s, I’m guilty of living over 20 years blocks from it and never went inside. I think part of the reason is because I always thought it was simply… a deli! I think of a deli as having a counter with fresh condiments, cheeses, breads, and meats, etc, and although Lori’s does make sandwiches, I think the term deli is a little off. They are much more than a deli. There’s not a tone of seating, but it’s ok for eating inside or takeout. They have a huge, numbered menu, which should lessen the likelihood of miscommunication of your order. Prices are decent, and so are portions, so I see no reason not to come back in the future and try many more items from their menu. First time in, ordered a denver omelette and a philly cheesesteak. Both were pretty good. Not fantastically amazing, but pretty good. For those who are looking for a little more variety than Super Burger across the street offers, Lori’s may be a nice alternative every now and then.

Loved it. Excellent prices, big portions, a super attitude, and everything tasted awesome! The menu’s an excellent mix of American and Asian fare and they serve everything all the time. Communication difficult… dude were are you from Montana? LMFAO

Lori’s looks like a typical hamburger take out place but that’s deceiving. lori’s also serves soups, sammies, and small dinner combos.(pork chop, fish & chip, fried chicken, etc.) eats: fried chicken(6.5) –spaghetti with meat sauce, tasty but very salty, surprised this came with it. thought it was a mistake or a freebie or was someone trying to get my attention by going thru my stomcah? saw other reviews got spaghetti too. part of regular order. –fried chicken just ok., 5 regular pieces, some a little dry. –salad and dressng, the usual 3.5 stars for value. foodnotes: –no one here 6ish. –food made to order…

I always make sure to pay a visit to good ol’ Lori’s Deli when I visit from college. Been coming to Lori’s Deli ever since it was«the thing to do» in middle school haha. Owners are very nice & I think they remember me because ever time I go they remember exactly how I like my burger! «no tomato?» :D I always choose the number 3 — Bacon cheeseburger, fries, & a soda for $ 6.50(used to be cheaper, but I mean what restaurant has NOT raised their prices in the past couple of years). You get a decent sized burger, generous amount of fries, and a iced cold drink. Actually, they are kinda stingy when it comes to drinks. They fill the cup all the way with ice and then fill it with soda. One time I asked for no ice(thinking I could cheat the system – MORESODA! :D) but then they said I would have to pay extra for no ice(Strange, but they are SMART! haha) I’ve also tried their club sandwich(fairly good. my boyfriend’s favorite) and I’ve tried the teriyaki sandwich(very good!). I’ve heard their fried chicken is good. However, I always resort to the bacon cheeseburger :) They have an extensive breakfast, lunch, & dinner menu. Dinner is served from 5 – 7 but I just found out that you can still order off of that menu any time of the day!

Looking for a nice restaurant? Look somewhere else. This place looks like it was built on a budget. The outside is nicer than the inside. Im always a little worried when a small place like this serves everything you can think of. I ordered the rueben sandwich and it turned out pretty good. Plus it got really good reviews on Unilocal. The owners are super nice but I wouldn’t bring someone here on a first date… Or any date.

Been passing this place by for about 14 years now and finally decided to give it a shot. Stopped and had breakfast and was surprised to see the prices were very reasonable. The food was very good as well. This place has become our breakfast spot on the weekends now. Don’t be turned away from the service, they’re actually really nice people. Coffee taste yummy here too!

WOOHOO for Lori’s! It was a coincidence that I drove by Lori’s Deli. I never thought much of Lori’s until I had lunch there one time… I had the chicken teriyaki plate with a side of salad. it was DELISH!!! They give so much rice and chicken for a very very reasonable price(compare to many other places I’ve been!!). They also have THEBEST soup!!! Chicken noodle soup is delish(Vietnamese chicken noodle soup) and i love VIETFOODS! their broth tastes very fresh, sweet and purely natural(doens’t taste anything like MSG at all). Their menu is HUGE with so many different items. Oh, they serve the BEST breakfast! This is one of my fav place in San Leandro. The lady is very sweet and nice, she tries very hard to serve her customers and I think that she’s a doll! Give it a try, ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ b/c you’ll be surprised. just like me… I am now their loyal and regular customer! =)

The food here is okay, not good or bad… just okay. I have been here several times and tried a few different things, but everything here just seems to lack something. It can all be perceived as being somewhat plain and lack luster. Its just kind of there. it’s like purgatory in your mouth. Overall it is what it is. Get the picture? Communication can be difficult at times. I don’t know why but the woman behind the counter always misunderstands what I want until I describe it to her. When the man is there alone this never happens though… maybe it is a language barrier thing and then again maybe she just likes to screw with me, who knows? Either way, they both seem nice enough and the food is cheap about $ 5 dollars for a meal. They have a lot of specials to choose from and they don’t seem to be going anywhere, so take it for what it is and try it if you like. CHAD

Don’t expect much when you go here. It’s a small little mom & pop type of place, but the food is good. If you want something fancy or execellent service, go to a commercially franchised restaurant. The food here is simple and good. Owners are nice. I usually get the breakfast sandwich and it hits the spot well. Also their chicken noodle soup is delicious especially on a cold day. The broth is very tasty. I would recommend eating here for lunch.
