Absolutely the WORST at wrapping burritos. Been coming here for awhile now and my burritos ALWAYS end up ripping on me. This whole location needs to take burrito wrapping classes together.

Very small portions and some of the worst customer service of any Chipotle. Recently visited the restaurant had a bowl and the lettuce was not fresh and the guacamole had hard un-ripened avocados. It just seems to get worse over time.

The staff at this location aren’t very enthused to be working. They run out of stuff all the time and seem to think it’s ok to suggest other meats and topping instead of just getting what you’ve asked for . Since the big tainted food thing you’d think chipotle would go above and beyond to please their customers but apparently they don’t.

We’ve ran in for takeout a couple times since my first experience. I have to say they have gotten better. The portion size is the same as other locations now. It use to be smaller. It’s not as busy as the Castro Valley location which is fine by me. Keep up the good work.

Overall very disappointed. Grouchy staff, salad bowl portion was not worth $ 10, and the guacamole was an extra $ 2 but wasn’t even made properly. If we’re paying extra, the least you can do is make it right and not have a solid chunk of black avocado in my guac. This is a new chipotle, hire better staff members.

Worst customer service ever. If you’re craving chipotle save your time and go to alameda or Castro valleys chipotle. There were 4⁄5 staff members but only one was filling orders, the rest of them were standing next the cashier just talking… What should only take 5 – 10 minutes to order took 20 – 30 mins. The managers need to train their staff better.

Tonight was my first time to this location. I’m not a big Chipotle fan in general, they’re just generally consistent. I must say being my first time here the people working were very nice and personable. I had my burrito to go and it was quite delicious. I had the steak burrito with the hot sauce. It was rolled right btw. The chips where really good too, not too much salt just the right amount, well maybe a shade less salt but they were really good. As far as recommending this place based on my first time, I’d recommend it! Keep up the good work! BTW I’ve had the Sofritas burrito before at another location and it makes for a good meat alternative

This place is terrible. I said that I wanted salad bowl and they still gave me a bowl without salad. At last they corrected by adding some shredded lettuce on top of the meat and called it a salad bowl. I’m done with this place. I hope you guys, will close down soon.

Not sure why this location has such bad reviews. I was super excited when chipotle finally opened here in San Leandro, which meant I did not need to go far for my chipotle craving. I’ve been coming here a dozen times or so since they opened and never experienced bad customer service or anything out of the extraordinary. I mean, it’s fast food, are people expecting over the top service? I’m happy with the service here as they get my order out in a timely manner and they load up my bowl. The food here is fairly consistent except for today. Not sure if it was because we got a fresh batch of brown rice, but it was quite flavorful compared to every times before today. Perhaps it was a new cook? Our rice had a lot more lime taste, maybe even a tad too tart toward the end. It’s still good though.

The food here is pretty standard to other Chipotle places. Nothing special. As for the customer service, I was surprised that I had a pretty pleasant experience. They were nice, friendly, and made conversation! The first time I came here, the girl that was helping me kept forgetting to give me a tortilla on the side. I asked twice and eventually just gave up on it. During my second visit here, the guy that was helping me accidentally started making a burrito when I ordered a bowl. He realized his mistake though and got me a bowl!

I just want to share with everyone what a great customer service I received this afternoon. Upon my arrival I was told that the steak is finished, and will need to wait few minute. «since I am not in a hurry I said-sure i’ii wait no problem, soon after I was asked if I would like a glass of water to drink while waiting? Than shortly after, as promised the steak was ready and my order was processed within couple of minute. I have to say that the entire team of young men were smiling, courteous and super pleasant. Once ready to pay my meal was offered at no cost to me by a an amazing person at the register. Wow, I am lost for words, I have been to many other location, and never received this high level of courtesy and customer service. I thanked everyone, and complemented the crew and… Made sure their manager knew about it. Thumbs up Guy’s keep up the great spirit and amazing service!

This is by far the worst Chipotle ever. I’ve been to them across the country, and until this store opened in San Leandro, the one in Castro Valley was my home store. Was hoping this one would take its place. Nope, nuh uh. #1 The portions are always too small compared to other stores. I thought it was a franchise issue, and the owner of this one is maximizing profit. But then I found that nearly all Chipotle stores are company-owned. So it must be the manager here. Whatever the reason. You could do an experiment: Buy the same item here and at any other Chipotle, and weigh them. Guaranteed, this store skimps. #2 The service is slow. Any Chipotle has long lines at rush hour. But this Chipotle handles its line very poorly. The others do their best to put it into overdrive when there’s a rush. Here? Nah. Customers in line? Whatever. I keep returning, hoping that the issues were recognized and resolved. But no, these issues were here the week they opened, and they are still here today. San Leandro Chipotle, you are dead to me.

Es muy terrible!!! Just ordered two chicken, beans and rice bowls… that’s it, for my two kids, who were clearly visible to the server. Ordered To Go. Got home. Now, my kids can’t eat the food because it «burns» their mouths. We were never given a choice for level of spiciness and it came out ‘hot’ to my kids. Bad on you, Chipolte of San Leandro! I hope I speak for the local San Leandro community when I request you start taking to heart your poor reviews and start changing up your policies. The consequence of not doing this will be people no longer coming to your establishment. I’m really rooting for Downtown San Leandro to bring more people down this way. Please make the necessary changes, turn it around and ATTRACT people to your place of business as well as Downtown San Leandro!

Whelp, if you’re looking for the worst service possible on God’s green Earth at Chipotle, look no further, because it’s right here in San Leandro. This night crew has to be the laziest bunch of employees ever assembled that I’ve ever encountered in my life. I don’t even know where to begin with this review smh. After a nice workout at the gym, I left en route to chipotle and made sure I got there before they closed at 10pm. I arrived at 9:40pm and there was only 1 person in line in front of me waiting to be ordered. After about 5 min or so of listening to the employees waste time talking to the customer in front of me and watching them take their sweet time building a simple burrito, it was finally my turn to order. Once I asked for a chicken burrito bowl, the two women servers looked at each other with a smirk and said«ooooh sorry, we are out of corn, sour cream but there’s enough cheese for your burrito bowl before we run out of that.» First of all, there were about 9 strands of cheese left, like that was really going to satisfy my hunger or make a difference in this already disappointing experience I had. I almost stopped the employee from dropping the few scraps of cheese they were going to disrespect me with and threw it at them. Second, I’ve been to a plethora of Chipotles in my lifespan, and I KNOW for a fact, they always have majority of their produce under their counter or being refrigerated when it’s time for a refill. They had the nerve to say to me with a mf Kodak smile on their face, «You need to get here earlier next time so this doesn’t happen to you again.» No, correction mf, I don’t care if I come here at 11am, 4:30pm or 9:59:59pm and it’s a millisecond before 10pm, you better have more corn, sour cream and cheese no matter what time of the day I’m here. I almost waltzed right in the back and moved them aside and grabbed my own food than standing there listening to their fables about being out of all those supplies. I almost cut them off and played the famous«why Tf you lying, why you always lying… Oooo omg stop ******* lying» song just for them on their store’s speakers on the ceiling. Bottom line is, these guys are here just for a paycheck and you would be better off having customer service from Bön Qui Qui from Mad TV or Ed from Good Burger, than dealing with this Award Winning All Star Lineup of Worst Crew ever at Chipotle!

— THEFOOD I ordered chicken tacos and it was the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken was either way bland or so burnt that it was bitter. The corn tortillas were heated up for 2 seconds from the bag and were extremely soggy. All of my tacos fell through the bottom. The limes were just cut in half instead of wedges so it was extremely hard to squeeze. — THESERVICE Although the line wasn’t really long, there was only 1 worker who actually assembled the food. There were clearly at least 4 workers there but 2 were just aimlessly wandering around and another was working the register. There should be at least 2 people making the food to help speed up the process. The way this Chipotle is run is highly inefficient.

As much as Chipotle tries to seperate itself from your classic fast food restaurant, at the San Leandro location, it’s not much of a competition. They’re still currently short staffed and disorganized, which yields long times and hangry patrons. Of the many times I’ve been here, it seems that call in and online orders are of priority, regardless of the people who have already been waiting in line– which is not impressive. When it’s finally your turn, the staff are able to accommodate your request and make your food accordingly. There usually needing more food, and the turnover rate is pretty slow, so while you’re waiting in line, make sure you have a backup option. The staff on the line that build your bowls and burritos try their best, but the cashier seems to have nothing better to do and doesn’t help, which sucks because there’s one person holding down the line and it’s gets crazy. The bathroom code is at the bottom of your receipt, so don’t throw it away! It’s really dirty inside and the tables don’t get wiped down as often as they should be. You see a lot of staff napping at the front of the restaurant, which is fine if you’re on break but it’s also a bad representation of your company to have staff look like as if they’re sleeping on the job and there’s more staff on break than there are working the line. This Chipotle has to step up their chipotle game if they want to keep their customers happy. At the moment, I still make the trip to Castro Valley and wait in that line because its more efficient and worth the drive. Maybe it’s me, but the meat seems spicy at this location– so somebody’s flavor profile and seasoning skills must be off. Hopefully they shake things up and get it together because I love love Chipotle and want the best for it, especially here in my home town.

On Saturday, 3÷21÷15, my girlfriend and I ordered Chipotle to go for dinner. Atmosphere/Décor: It looks pretty nice inside and spacious. There’s plenty of tables to sit at. Food: I ordered a steak burrito bowl and a chicken burrito. My steak burrito bowl was just okay. There were a few fatty pieces of steak in my burrito bowl. Two pieces were so fatty and hard that it was impossible to chew. Their steak isn’t that good at Chipotle. It’s very chewy. They should purchase better quality steak in my opinion. My chicken burrito was pretty good. Everything inside of my burrito tasted fresh. My girlfriend ordered a chicken burrito bowl. She liked it. Service: All of the employees at Chipotle seem very nice and friendly. We waited in line for 30 minutes which is pretty crazy. The line was pretty long when we went so I understand things can get hectic. Overall the service was good. Overall: This chipotle is decent. I’d recommend ordering a chicken burrito or anything with chicken. All of their other meats are just whatever. If your in the area give it a try.

I was super excited for this extremely close to home & work location! Well… I was extremely disappointed as well. I came here on the first day before the lunch rush so I got my burrito bowl within 2min. Here’s my review for my first bowl there: — undercooked brown rice — extremely burnt fajitas — small portion — friendly staff I came back again today(~2 weeks later). Here’s a little breakdown — ordered through app, came to pick it up early and they were accomodating — undercooked brown rice again(some grains were hard — small portion(there was soooo little chicken in my bowl) — way too much hot salsa! I’ll try again in a couple weeks or so. Please taste better next time
