Horrible service and employees that don’t care. Normally insolent bother rating a place like Subway but this location is so bad and poorly managed I had to write a review. The crew tonight were so unprofessional and clearly could care less. My wife ordered the chicken breast sandwich and it had a ton of hard pieces in it. I told the guy working their and he clearly didn’t want to deal with it. He said I’ll give you a piece of new chicken. I said«no thanks my wife is grossed out». I said how about replacing it with a meatball sandwich. You would have thought I asked for the keys to the kingdom! He grabbed the old sandwich and slammed it in the garbage and walked away. What a poorly run store. The owner should fire everyone there and start over. Better yet, the owner should probably learn how to hire the right people and then train them. It can’t be that hard. Anyway, we’re done eating at this subway location. Don’t waste your time here. Make the drive to another Subway if you want it.

This location always seems to be short on ingredients often. Most of the time they don’t have soup. Yesterday they were out of cilantro and avocado. Since that’s about all my son puts on his sandwich after tuna and cheese it was kinda sad. I hope they get back in the game, it’s nice having a Subway close to the house.

I’m not too pleased with this location. Upon entry, I noticed that their chip rack was pretty much empty. Only two rows of chips with a lack of selection. I didn’t end up getting any chips for that reason. I ordered a salad & when asked if I would like it chopped I said sure. I wasn’t really paying attention but when he was done, it was basically mush. I don’t understand why Subway offers to «chop» the salad when everything is basically chopped already. Anyways, I asked for honey mustard dressing on the side. When I tried it when I got home, I nearly gagged. It tasted like plastic lard with a hint of something so nasty I dare not say. Needless to say, I think the dressing went bad or something because that’s my usual go to dressing. I threw it out & just ate my salad plain. On the plus side, veggies were all fresh.

I’ve given this Subway a few chances but it is not«fresh». Their tomatoes are yellow not red, their bread tastes like it’s been sitting for days, and their employees don’t restock the vegetables/cheese etc. Today I went in and ordered a veggie, foot-long with honey oat bread. The bread was so gross I couldn’t eat it. Tomatoes yellow, and the boy who created my sandwich used hot sauce instead of Sriracha like I asked… There’s a huge difference. I literally ate 3 bites and couldn’t take it anymore. Unfortunately I don’t like to hurt peoples feelings and I’m not confrontational, so I literally just threw it away, walked out, and now I will definitely never return back. There’s another subway in San Juan near Panera Bread… If I were you, I would go to that one, it’s much, much better. Regards, Jamie

I went in to this restaurant to purchase a few sandwiches for my family. I was«helped» by a young boy named Jose. At least that’s what he said his name was. He was rude and had ZERO customer service skills. He neglected to give me a receipt. When I went back in to get it, he had a smartass grin on his face as if I didn’t already know he was an arrogant fool, but I already knew that. :D I told him his customer service skills are lacking severely and then he proceeded to dangle my receipt above his shoulder and behind his head. After a few moments of that, I reached over and grabbed it out of his hands. Well, let’s just say he didn’t like that and he proceeded to continue to talk badly. He walked to the door and told me to get out of «his» store. This is a horrible restaurant run by immature, untrained children. An even sadder fact is they are taught these skills by their rude owner Farrah. Don’t give this place your hard earned money. They don’t deserve it!!!

I never have any problems here. The owner is always helping the staff which is not something you see. She is also very friend and has a smile on her face. They are quick an efficient when making your food. The sandwiches always come out great.

I went into subway this am to order a sandwich for my son, he always orders the chicken teriyaki foot long as the employee was making my sandwich I noticed the container the chicken was in had a date stamp on the bottom which I thought read Saturday so I asked the employee to look at it then asked him to confirm what the date was for he then told me it was the date the meat was made and put into the container to be served let me just say today is Wednesday which means the meat has been sitting there for 5 days!!! when I brought this to the attention of the employee he shoved my sandwich aside and said ill make you something else what do you want I responded with is this how long you let meat sit on the shelf being served he stated he didn’t know and ignored me being upset, this is completely disgusting !!! ban subway !!!

Went to this subway today and was trying to use a coupon that they give. The coupon was for 50 cents, for any six inch sub sandwich. When the young lady rang me up, I mentioned that I had a coupon, she verbalized that coupon wasn’t good for specialty sandwiches. I mentioned the coupon does not state that, it says any 6″ sub and besides I used it before for the same sandwich. The young lady happened to be very rude and verbalized«Oh the coupon has to be specific!» Great customer service, I think I will buy my sandwich at Wendy’s(just around the corner from this place) next time. It wasn’t the measly coupon, it was the point. If she treats customers like this, what kind of employee is handling the food we eat.

Great sandwich here way better the the downtown San Juan Capistrano location. Very nice they aways take time making my sandwich and put lots of toppings on with no problems. Nice outside seating with lots of trees in the parking lot. Also easy to park free as expected. Nice an cool inside betting the heat.

The only reason I gave this place even one star is because I have to, because it exists. Not only was I a customer, I was also an employee. The first time I went in here, I was asked«white or wheat bread?» as if there were no other choice. I chose honey-oat and as the girl made the sandwich, she wasn’t very careful about assembling it correctly, the meats and cheeses were hanging halfway off the sandwich. When it came time for the vegetables, they were very stingy with it, and I dare not ask for extra. It wasn’t the sandwich maker’s fault, it’s that the owner of this place is more concerned with making as much profit as possible. Making the guest happy is not what is important; pinching every penny possible and scolding employees for placing one too many pickles on a sandwich is. After I paid for the sandwich and sat down to eat, I concluded that it was the equivalent to basically, two pieces of bread… it was the most skimp sandwich from Subway I’ve ever had in my life, but the lady at the cash register wash nice to me at the time, so I tried to have a positive vote. I was looking for a easy job sometime later and asked them if they needed employees because the woman(Alma) seemed nice at the time. I was eternally grateful that they hired me and I worked hard even when we weren’t busy; scrubbing table legs and baseboards, just to keep busy and because I didn’t mind. But as the weeks wore on, Alma’s comments turned into snide, catty remarks and unnecessary criticism of nearly everything I did. I wasn’t the only one who felt stressed at work over this, the other employees tell me the same things. I honestly believe that I was treated the worst, and I hate to say it but it’s because I was the odd one out. I was the only Caucasian that worked there, and all of the other employees were nice to me besides the owner’s wife, Alma. She would treat me as though I couldn’t do anything right, even if a customer specifically asked for it, and only hired me to have a white face in there. I am not a racist, but I know I was treated unfairly. She was nice when I was a customer, but totally turned into a manipulative tyrant when I was an employee. When my face would turn red with anger after she would say something snide, she would ask«You need this job right?» That’s why she treats people that way, cause she thinks she can get away with it. I eventually quit because I won’t work for a company that treats it’s employees like dogs. Another thing I might mention is that alot of their health standards, I believe, are neglected. The whole three months that I worked there, NOTONCE had the sauce bottles been washed… just refilled with more sauce on top of three-month-old rotten sauce. I’ve actually witnessed a slab of turkey slices dropped on the floor and quickly retrieved and placed back in the container to avoid waste. More than anything, this place is not concerned with the welfare of it’s customers or employees, will do anything to up-sell, and could give a shit about customer satisfaction and good business. Oh yeah, if you ever get avocado on your sandwich, make sure that they show you it’s ripe because they will put undeveloped, rock-hard avocado on it if they can get away with it… to up-sell of course. I refuse to be a patron to this business, and would gladly drive 20 miles out of the way for a REAL Subway sandwich.

I work nearby and come here often for lunch. They make great sandwiches, and the staff is always helpful and attentive. The only drawback is that it gets packed at lunch time, the line will almost go out the door. I try not to go there between 12:30−1, or the wait is forever.
