Billy’s Premium Deli

Out of business people. The previous owners kids turned it into a poke joint. What a loss! Oh well gotta drive a little further to NY Deli Case from now on.

This place is hidden gem. I lived in San Juan before and continue to work there now. I eat lunch around town everyday. Given the choice of the bland chains or BIlly’s, I would have to scream Billy’s.
The quality of their food is amazing and you can watch them actually chop the vegetables they are putting on your sandwich. They use only Boar’s Head meat and fresh ingredients.
Their sandwiches are about standard size as compared to sandwich bread you would get at home, a little larger. It is is piled high with fixings. You are definitely not getting a foot long here or anything close.
The price is about the same as Subway or Panera. About 10 bucks for a meal.
This place is great. I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I love this place! The Cuban sandwich is amazing! The potato salad that had egg in it, we got it 2xs and each time it had egg shells in it :/​and the German potato salad, not that good… However The pasta salad was pretty tasty. The chocolate pudding and Tapioca, also really good.
Sometimes the people there are nice and sometimes there not but whatever the sandwiches make up for it. And the only place I have found that sells Taylor Ham or as westerners call it… Pork roll lol.

Yummay!!! Totally hit the spot on a break during work. My girlfriend and I split the Italian sub. Bread was so soft and the mixture of Italian meat so delish! But the best part was how sweet and helpful the lady was behind the counter. She was the hostess chef and cashier. Very nice! I’m so glad I know about this place so next time I’m on break I’m coming in.

A real diamond in the rough. Upon entering I was skeptical of the place but I was not disappointed. I ordered the club sandwich from their generous selection of options. It was fantastic! The portions were very sensible, giving just the right amount to full me, without being wasteful. The cashier, a young Asian man, was very friendly and helpful. Great place!

Very fresh delicious sandwiches here. They’re super thick and you can taste the quality ingredients. If I want a filling lunch that won’t weigh me down when I go back to work, I’ll come here. Oh they also have breakfast sandwiches too that I’ll have to try sometime soon.
But the best part about this place is the owner. She’s really friendly and takes the time to get to know you and what you like and dislike in your sandwich. They have these post its on the wall with your name so that you can call ahead and say your name and your usual order and they’ll make it for you for pick up. I got a latte last time and it was so good I won’t have to head to Starbucks after for my coffee from now on. I’m pretty sure it’s cheaper too. One stop shop is my kinda place!

One of the most important thing is the place is Very Clean and well maintained. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff are all friendly and great customer services they make you feel at home.

Excellent Sandwiches– the best meat and fresh tastes. Very clean and kind family run operation. I am always happy with the taste, quality and service every time I have been there for lunch. I like the turkey avacado on brown squaw bread. Billys is the best sandwich in San Juan– and fast too.

Good flavor, homemade, good customer service, VERY CLEAN and well maintained. Portions are not generous per se but they’re yummy and average.

I adore BIlly’s, the staff are great VERY helpful, great selection, old school, great quality, very fresh.

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews… I had the Panini chicken sandwhich and it was really good. It came with a salad as well. Price is reasonable too. Check them out! You won’t be disappointed.

Super friendly, quick service. The prices are reasonable and you get a complimentary bag of chips with a sandwich. They use Boars Head meats, and their sandwiches are on the large side (especially the club sandwich!). Their smoothies are pretty tasty as well. Two thumbs up!
