Shell Gas Station

If I could give shell gas (32 001 Camino Capistrano) Zero stars I would, worst customer service ever! Paid cash for gas. Took me two times of good morning to get the guy looking strait ahead to even look at me, took my $ no smile no words. After I returned I asked for my change and receipt, without looking at me or speaking he pulled out $ 6.25 and gave it to me, I was supposed to receive $ 6.28 back. Then I had to ask a second time for the receipt before I left. Unprofessional to not look at a customer or speak to them.

This Shell gas has easy access unlike the Ortega Shell which can sometimes be blocked because of construction. And this one station is more expensive than others but they have the location for it and being close to the 5 can give them that right. The store inside is small but has drinks and lottery tickets for you driving needs.

This is my new favorite place to stop for gas on my way to or from work. I have been bringing my car here for everything from an oil change to a new transmission, to a new catalytic converter and I have been 100 percent satisfied. They are honest, communicative and understanding. I really appreciate that when I bring my car in I feel heard and supported. As a female driver it is sometimes hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Here I feel like they not only look after my car but they are looking out for my best interest as well, keeping me safe on the road is their primary responsibility and they take it very seriously. Thank you for care and work you have put into my car over the last 180 thousand miles. You are the best

Better than your average Shell in the way of cleanliness. Friendly staff every time I walk in, and hey, I’ve never been mugged her before!
The gas at a shell is usually more expensive than a place like ARCO, but they let you use a credit card — – unlike ARCO. Better gas too.

Had to wait over a week to get an oil change. Told Bill I needed a new wiper blade which he said he would order. Had oil changed and the blade was the wrong size. He told me he would order the right one and would call when it came in. Waited another week and I called them. The person who answered said he had no wiper there. He knew nothing about it. When I asked him to find out if it was ordered, he said, ‘there’s no wiper blades here.’ Apparently, he doesn’t need my business and he won’t get it again. I’m still waiting for Bill to call to tell me the wiper blade is in… it’s only been 2 months!

Dirty car looking for gas and car wash found this high-​rating-​yelp gas station. Very clean gas station. Great discount from Ralph’s Rewards. Purchased car wash… the receipt didn’t print. So we walked to the cashier and saw the sign «Be back in 10 minutes… any problems please call…» We called (by both hubby’s phone first then mine), after waited about 10 minutes. I got a call back after we had already left the gas station. We agreed to return (10 extra minutes and about extra 8 miles). We had paid for the cheapest wash option and when the attendant, Victor, asked me I told him so but asked for an upgrade for our troubles, at which point, he refused our request… So there you go… thank you.

I always go to this gas station. Cheap gas especially with your Ralphs rewards card! *smiles*

Ralphs rewards card gives you $ 0.10 off per gallon (I’m assuming at all Shell locations), that will add up to a pretty hefty savings with gas prices these days, especially with my Camaro inhaling gasoline like no other… I usually fill up Chevron with Techron for higher quality gasoline, but Shell’s nitrogen enriched gasoline is just as good for your engine. According to Shell, their nitrogen addition does not have effects on NOx emission, but who knows. At today’s gas prices, I think saving a dime is more important to most consumers.

Yeah… Five stars. And I don’t even like Shell. I just need to head in to use the restroom in the middle of the night on the way back from LA and this was only place that seemed not scary (and open). Not only was it not scary, it was beautiful.
The service guy complimented my car (MINI Cooper) and we chatted awhile (after I used the facilities) about the awesomeness of MINIs. I Think I convinced him of my car love.
The bathrooms didn’t even feel like a gas station. It was almost like a hotel lobby bathroom, and a nicer one at that.
I ended up buying a gatorade and some pepitas for the remainder of the trip home.
I will definitely be stopping at this oasis in the future for other trips.

I travel to the wide world of whack jobs pretty often (Los Angeles), and it never ceases to amaze me that when I return home, my gas light dings within about 3 miles of this particular Shell. Why? Who knows… but I love it.
The sheer convenience of this Shell station is worth 5 stars. It’s RIGHT off of the 5 freeway at Avery Parkway, and you rarely have to wait for a gas portal to open up. Is that what they call ‘em? I don’t know, but because there is a Mobil station right across the way, there’s always plenty of space for cars of all shapes and sizes to fill up before hitting that long stretch of nothingness through Camp Pendleton.
Additionally, the station itself is really clean, and I can actually trust the food and hot beverages at this location… unlike most other gas stations where you question the last time that slimy pot of coffee was brewed.
If you’re driving home through Orange County, or driving north for that matter, it’s worth stopping by… especially if you’re in a hurry. It’s as easy as a $ 2 hooker with dentures and a sugar craving… whatever that means.
