I like Subway in general, but I WILLNOT be returning to THIS Subway. I am in the Army, and for Veteran’s Day an email was sent out that listed Subway offering free 6″ sandwhiches for Veterans. I normally frequent this Subway about twice a week becuase it is right around the corner from our office, so I decided to go in on Veteran’s Day to take advantage of the offer. After ordering the sandwhich I was told no, they chose not to participate in this offer, the store manager decided he didnt want to do it. In very broken and hard to communicate English it took about 5 minutes to understand this. Then the cashier was very angry when I did not want to purchase my sandwhich because they did not participate in the promotion and became very rude. I WILLNOT go to this Subway anymore. After reading the other reviews of charging extra for spinach and counting the sandwhich papers, this falls right in line with the owner being a cheapskate.

This is a small place and I used to go here quite a bit. Last time I went, I asked a simple question about my receipt and the employee started screaming about how it wasn’t her fault, that it was all my fault, that that’s exactly what I ordered and a bunch of other crazy stuff. She seemed really stressed out. I’ve asked to have a footlong wrapped as two halves but they always refuse. The employees claim that the owner counts the sandwich paper at the end of the day(what a cheapskate!) and makes sure that the amount of sandwich paper matches the number of sandwiches sold. So, they can’t use sandwich paper unless they sell a sandwich. The sandwiches have always been OK but there isn’t much seating.

I downloaded the Unilocal app just to write this review. Let me just start by saying, one of the WORST policies ever! 40¢ extra for spinach. What the heck?! And they are supposed to be promoting healthy eating? Again, awful policy, not in line with the corporate strategy. I’m never going to this subway again. I would also like to note that I am dissapointed that subway as a whole has migrated the oven roasted chicken breast sandwich from a 5 $ footlong to $ 6.25. I definitely frequent subways less because of this.

The $ 5 foot long sandwich of the month(November) is the Chicken Marinara. I didn’t feel like cooking dinner, so I thought why not! It was OK. It needed more marinara sauce because it was dry. The bread was also dry, but hey I can’t complain too much. It’s a $ 5 foot long. My fave are Italian BMT and Meatball. The Chicken Teriyaki is OK too. Plenty of parking and for those of you that love Starbucks or Jamba Juice these two are right next door.
