Portions are good. Ordered pad Thai with tofu… Tofu had no flavor. They are very busy at lunch time, but the food came quickly.

It is nice Thai/Asian restaurant. I am a vegetarian and I was surprised to see vegetarian sushi menu. Food doesn’t have heavy flavor or spices. It was perfect to the level. I would recommend to go.

The service sucked! We’ve been regular customers here for a year or so. The reason why we keep coming back is because of Sue. She’s the best waitress, always smiling and very caring. The others are exactly as what other reviewers wrote here: incompetent and UN-apologetic. To start with, the people sitting next to our table tonight got COLD sake(it’s usually warmed up before being served). Ooops! Mistakes are commonly made here with food order and service; luckily we did not get any misorders tonight. The waitresses sometimes can’t answer your questions about the food, or give you the wrong answers should you inquire. Afterwards, my daughter and I used the restroom. NOSOAPORTOILETPAPER!!! What kind of restaurant would ignore THOSE things. Mind you, it was NOT busy when we arrived. I let them know immediately when we got out of the restroom. Not sure if it was taken care of! Now, I had our infant with us. What would have happened if I had not brought my hand sanitizer along? Would I have got stuck in the restroom and waited for an hour before someone could finally bring the hand soap, so I could take care of my baby? If you’ve read the other reviews, you’ll see that scenario is totally possible. Huge thumbs down! When we asked for our bill, one of the waitresses who had been serving us all along, said that I needed to wait for the service from the other waitress that we happened to ask for something earlier. HOWRUDE! Finally, we left the restaurant without even a Thank-you that I’d heard with other clients earlier. Seriously, this is the worst service we’ve ever received: voted most incompetent and the rudest! Don’t come here if you really care about service. Sue, much as we ADORE you, we’ll never come back again.

I love this place. Their green curry is amazing &SUPPERSPICY just how I like it. I did not give them 4+ starts bc they have to work on consistency on their food preparation. Sometimes the curry needs salt, my last time going there the curry looked watery like they didn’t add enough coconut milk. But besides they’re eggplant is delicious

Came here for NYE dinner. The service was excellent. The staff constantly checked on us and also were very warm. I also saw them put up with a large table that was semi-rude and had a list of demands of having their food prepared a certain way and they still continued to be calm and deliver good customer service. We ordered the tom yum soup, spider roll, pad se ew, and crab fried rice. The soup was ok. It was spicy but the broth was clearer than usual and lacked the lemon grass and lime that I crave for. The spider roll was decent, I’ve definitely had better sushi. The noodles was flavorful, but my favorite was the crab fried rice! Also, this place is very reasonably priced! I probably won’t order the same items again because they were only Ok(except for the rice which is a must have) but the flavor of the food was so good, that I would definitely want to try out their other items.

As a vegetarian sushi fan, I’m always on the look out for a good restaurant. My friend just introduced me to Blue Mango, and I was blown away by the fabulous selections of vegetarian sushi they have. Thoughts on Blue Mango: –Food: I really liked the Fruit Roll-Up — great mix of sweet, creamy, and salty. The mandarin orange garnish was a nice touch. –Ambience: decent, nothing to write home about. Pretty middle of the road. –Service: also decent, no one was rude. My friend and I arrived at 5pm on Wednesday and were seated immediately.

My boyfriend and I were out shopping at Target and Trader Joes and decided to do lunch here. It was quiet and small. We ordered pad Thai, tom yum soup and curry fries with Thai iced tea and hot tea. Thai iced tea — delicious! But that was about it. The tom yum soup was okay but the chicken was dry. Even in soup. I was avoiding the chicken just to scoop more mushrooms. The pad Thai. Sigh. Was definitely missing something. We thought maybe just needed more lime so we asked for some but even after it was still lacking. Boyfriend said lack of shallot oil. Curry fries are Curly fries with a side of curry. We got yellow curry but it wasn’t as thick as we’d like. Fries were good though. One order of fries really needs two sides of curry which we had to get. But I think it should just come with a bigger cup of curry then. We were about the decide not to come back again but then they handed out their Christmas promotion which is an envelope with a random amount gift certificate that you cannot open until you return any day in January and the staff opens it for you. It ranges from $ 5-$ 20! Man! I really wanted to open it– but once opened by us, no discount. Either we really decide NEVER and just open it ourselves. Or I find myself giving them another shot in January!

On the Coleman plaza in between Trader Joes and Sweet Tomatoes! Staff is really friendly and helpful! Roti with green curry — like that there’s a kick to the curry, BUT the roti isn’t super thin and big… also tried the red curry, which was standard and on point Tom Kah(coconut soup) — fresh, hot soup with lemon grass, big portion! Panang Curry with Chicken — Like the kick, its not too strong and its good! Pineapple Fried Rice — medium sized plate of rice, flavorful Pad Thai with Shrimp — noodles were fine, lots of medium sized shrimp

On a Saturday night this small restaurant was quite mellow. There’s both Chinese and Japanese food here and what I ordered was: SPECIALTYROLL — SAKURA — $ 12.95 Inside: Salmon, Eel, Cucumber Top: Spicy Tuna, Tobiko Garnish: Creamy, Unagi Sauce I chose this roll because it had everything I love. There’s so many rolls to choose from which made it hard to decide but I went with this one! It was good! REGULARCALIFORNIAROLL — $ 7.95 Imitation crab, Avocado, Cucumber, Creamy Sauce. I knew one roll wouldn’t be enough for me but didn’t want to pay too much so I reserve to the CA roll, which is something I don’t usually order. I liked it came with a creamy sauce but this roll was overall a bit of a disappointment. They put a whole imitation crab instead of a salad version of it which didn’t make it taste great. Overall this roll was okay. I was able to convince the table to get dessert! There was 7 of us and we decided to share 2 desserts: BLUEMANGOSTICKYRICE — $ 5.95 Sliced of sweet mango with a mound of sweet sticky rice, covered in a thin layer of coconut milk. Seasonal. I highly enjoyed this simple treat! The sticky rice was brightly blue – not too sweet. I always want more sauce but the amount of coconut milk is good enough! Everything in this dish including the mango were subtlety sweet which I really appreciated! MANGOSAMOSA — $ 5.95 Four pieces of Samosas stuffed with mango and sticky rice, drizzled with coconut milk dan chocolate syrup, served with a scoop of pineapple-coconut ice cream. This was so good! It’s like the other dessert but put to another level! It’s wrapped up in thin dough and fried! But wait, it slaps served with ice cream!!! This was so good! Overall I had a nice experience here. The menu was quite overwhelming with the choices and variety. I felt the prices were steep but everything was tasty. I though the desserts were reasonably priced though!

We ordered a sushi appetizer, and a sampler with cream cheese wontons, peanut satay, and edamame. I ordered yellow chicken curry with level 1 spice, but the spice was still overwhelming for my comfort. Overall I’d say it’s okay depending on what is ordered, and I may have to give it another try and order something different another time.

I love this place! It has a nice casual and relaxing atmosphere, and the food is great! Some of my favorites are Cream Cheese Won Ton’s, Sizzling Seafood Feast, and Lemon Ginger Seabass. Won ton’s have cheese slightly melted and crispy shell, the Seafood Feast is served steaming, and the seabass cooked perfectly. Be sure to a side of coconut rice. A cucumber martini is a perfect compliment! Service was great — the servers are very sweet, and the food hot! We’ll be back!

I came here with my family because Sweet Tomato was over packed. Unfortunately, it was a bad decision. I read the Unilocal reviews, but wanted to give it a chance anyway since it was just a few feet away. The restaurant was short staffed, so the wait to be seated was long even though there were empty tables available. The waiter/waitresses made mistakes left and right, such as giving me a salmon skin hand wrap instead of the salmon skin maki that I ordered. They wrote it down too, but read it wrong? It was just a mess that day. The food was okay. The pineapple fried rice and pad thai were soggy and wetter than usual. The portions were small too. The nigiri had a large portion of rice though when it should have been smaller. I like the salmon skin maki best because it tasted like it was suppose to(crunchy!). Overall, I wish they would hire more people and get it together. Or maybe I just came on a bad day?

This is generally my lunch destination. The ambience is not that good but it makes up with food. The deserts are too good. Tempura ice-cream is wonderful. It consists of outer fried covered and ice-cream inside it. Mango Samosa — This was too good. Different layers of ice-cream and an outer hard shell. The combination hits the taste buds exactly at right spots.

Blue Mango… why is it called that? Lol. Well there’s a blue wall on one side with lots of nice decorations! This place was pretty good and satisfying, but I was also very hungry ! They have both japanese and thai items on the menu. It’s mostly Thai cusine with a small menu of sushi rolls(no bento boxes). Well I been craving thai food lately, so I decided to give this place a try since my friends all tried it and said it was pretty good! Came in and a guy seated us at a small table for two — wish we had a bigger table cause we ordered a lot of food. Ordered a yellow curry with chicken($ 9.95), eggplant basil with pork($ 9.95), 2 steamed rice($ 2 each), cucumber roll($ 4.75), and unagi hand roll($ 3.95) — of course we eat a lot for two people :) Overall, everything was yummy and portion size was good and we had a lot of leftovers — but the sushi was not fantastic, just okay(rice was kind of hard), so I recommend sticking to the thai food here :)

I came here around lunch time with my coworker. There was no wait at all and we were immediately seated. I was impressed with the décor of the place as it was sleek and clean, but not too swanky. Blue Mango is definitely one of the cleaner Thai restaurants that I have been to. I believe they serve sushi as well as I saw a sushi bar as I walked in! I ordered the beef Pad Kee Mao with an 8 level spice level. The beef was soft and flavorful. It was served on a bed of romaine lettuce I believe? The one gripe I had about my dish was that the flat noodles were too soft and breaking apart. The 8 level spice level was not spicy at all, so if you can eat spicy foods like me try the 10 level! My coworker ordered the vegetable green curry with a spice level of 5. She thought it tasted pretty delicious. However, it was weird when the waitress did not know the difference in tastes between the yellow and the green curry. My coworker had asked before ordering her dish as she was curious to know. Each dish was about $ 9.95. Each of us were served this bamboo, tofu,(almost) sweet n’ sour-tasting soup at the start of our meal. I believe any dish on the lunch menu is served with the daily soup! To be completely honest, I do like Sa Ba Thai’s pad kee mao much better, but I would be willing to come back here to try another dish!

I was a little skeptical coming here, but this place isn’t actually bad! It’s actually quite tasty, albeit a little heavy on the salt. I think as long as you keep an open mind coming here and knowing that this isn’t authentic Thai food, but fusion, you will like it. Service was quick, food was decent and good portions. If I’m ever in the area, I might come back.

Blue Mango = Blue Magic? If Frank Lucas ordered the fried rice, he would think so. I have only ordered one entrée from this place twice but it’s that good. The chicken fried rice topped with pork is superb. There’s a hint of sweetness in the dish but it plays off well with the spice in which I prefer. I came here during the lunch break and ordered it for pickup. So I can’t comment on the service here but the hostess/waitress was friendly & kind. The food was waiting for me when I got there as patrons shot me glances like I was a bookie or something. Haters gonna hate but this place gets a thumbs up in my book.

Omg what is going on here? Who drizzles honey onto their sushi? Who makes a limp shrimp tempura that is so disgustingly thin? Non crunchy? I’m never coming back here again. It just upsets me that we went back. I said we should give them a chance. Why bother?
