Fine for a quick sandwich or slice of pizza(brought in by another restaurant) during the weekday. Be sure to order quick if you’re here right at lunch. This is a stop for many Bellarmine students and there is a RUSH at noon. With only two people behind the counter, there is little tolerance for the undecided.

Outside of being a local or attending Bellarmine, Cindy’s is probably outside your sphere. At lunch peak hours, expect lines of Students out the door, and like the locusts teenage boys can be — don’t be surprised if certain things have been cleared out when you get inside the tiny shop. That said, Cindy does make a solid sammich. Go in, grab a pen, and mark what you want: Turkey, Ham, and/or Roast Beef(oh, and meatball!); American or Swiss cheese; veggies and condiments. Fortunately prices are incredibly reasonable. I left with a large sandwich, chips, drink, and candy for less than $ 10. She also has pizza and hotdog options, tons of ice cream confection treats, and various other goodies that you have to enter to see. If she was out of a truck, and had Cuban options, this would be a perfect flashback to my own freshman year.

Cindy’s Sandich is a Bellarmine lunch institution. Inexpensive high school sandwich shop right across from campus. Cindy starts early in the morning preparing sandwiches and for the 45 minutes that is Bellarmine’s lunch break this place is slammed busy! Any other time of day this is a quaint not busy place! Grab an order form. Circle your meats, cheeses and condiments and hand back to Cindy. Good selection of drinks, ice cream treats and candy. This place is tucked in the College Park neighborhood so you’ll have to come a few blocks in from busy Taylor street to find the place. There is no seating so everything is to go.
