I’ve been here numerous times and have yet to write a review… shame on me. I absolutely love coming to this doughnut spot because it is super convenient by my work so I can quickly get in and out without any hassle. Though there is no parking lot, there’s tons of street parking available. The ladies who run this spot are super friendly and sweet. Whenever I order a couple dozen for my students as treats, they always throw in tons of extra doughnuts and doughnut holes. Since I try to resist eating their sinfully delightful donuts, I cannot resist munching on those delightful little glazed doughnut holes. Their doughnuts are really generously sized and super airy and fluffy. Overall, if you’re in the neighborhood and need to satisfy a doughnut craving, then definitely go to Rollo’s.

Good donuts, but what I was really impressed with was their breakfast sandwiches! They were delicious and filling. I had mine on a bagel which was great, and my friends had theirs on a croissant and they loved them! She got the order just a tad wrong, but I had five sandwiches so it’s understandable! Very filling sandwiches for 4.95

This is my favorite donut shop, they are so kind and friendly. Before finding Rollos I was having a hard time finding a good donut shop. They have a great selection, and the donuts water in your mouth. They also have some of the largest donuts I have ever seen, I recommend this little shop over any donut shop in San Jose.

Love this donut shop! Get our donuts here every time! Great choices and owner always give us s couple extra donut holes to top off our order! It is always busy in here for a reason, and they also accept crest cards which is hard to find for donut shops.

I do wish the coffee were a bit better and the croissant/bagel sandwiches were a bit more of a top-hit item, but the donuts are great, the service is friendly, and as others have stated, the vibe here is a true neighborhood gem. Pro tip: Like any bakery, they’re happy to make deals late in the day to ditch inventory. It was all made a few hours ago and isn’t in the slightest stale at that point, so you win. Pro tip #2: It’s not just donuts. Try the croissants, and ask what else they make.

DONOTMISSTHISDONUTSHOP! — THEDEETS: — We support small businesses, yay! — Donuts on point — Our friendly, neighborhood donut shop what’s not to love? — Free donuts thank you come again? Sure, why not! — OVERALL: — Each time I’ve purchased donuts from Rollo’s they’ve always seem freshly made. I’ve come late in the day and they still taste great. What’s even better is that when I get to Rollo’s in the afternoon they still have a great selection to choose from. And each time I do visit they give me a free donut or two, guessing it’s the same for all. Who cares! Me happy and I gladly return each time. Rollo’s has definitely gained a new customer for life. Do recommend! #489

So donuts here cost a little more than most other places. I average 1.35 a pop. However, the lady at the counter with the warm smile usually slips an extra piece or two in the bag. At the end, you do get your moneys worth but more importantly the quality of donuts here is really good. They have nice seating inside with warm air and there is also hot coffee. This is the third time i got an extra donut in my box, so they deserve the extra star. Keep it up and your business will last you long time.

Amazing, fresh and tasty doughnuts! They are a thicker density than the usual airy and overly sweet doughnut I often find, but still soft on the inside and filling. I can tell they use quality ingredients, my favorite flavors are pretty basic with glaze, chocolate topped twist, and cinnamon buns. I picked up 72 doughnuts for work and the entire staff was elated. The store even hooked me up with a dozen extra doughnut holes. I’ve made it my go-to doughnut stop ever since!

I stopped in on a Sunday morning while in San Jose for a work meeting. I got two donuts and a mocha. SOOOO good. The two owners were there and very nice! Good selection! If I lived here, it would definitely be a regular stop.

I’m so sad that I only have been in this place once after living downtown for 8 years!!! And now I’m moving soon! THISISMYBIGGESTREGRETINLIFETODATE!(i guess i’m doing pretty good for myself in that case…) Anyhow, quick polite service, thai ice tea(!!!), and delicious donuts. Seriously, it’s amazing what a difference a simple hello will do when you walk into a business. These guys are wonderful. I’ll miss you when I leave Rollo’s donuts…

This Place is E.V.I.L. - (but in a really GOOD way!) Open Early — Go Early — I went here to get a dozen WARM Fresh donuts for the crew of Bruce’s Tire Shop in San Jose — ya’know… to grease the wheels ;) to make my appoint me time go faster — But seriously — Yummy Donuts, Polite and helpful & smiling staff, & parking is easy early on a Saturday morning! The quaint little corner store was busy at 8 am on a Saturday, not fussy or overly decorated in anyway, nonchalantly folks, some in their PJ’s still — sipping coffee quietly and basking in the fresh smelling fried goodness & sugary glazing aroma that only a donut shop can provide, while staring sleepily out the windows as the occasional dog walker and morning jogger go by, and watch the leaves fall from park trees across the street. Local Neighborhood feel, Cheap Delicious Donut shop prices — Love this place! (PS: they take CC and Cash)

Me lub me some Rollo’s. It’s a little donut/coffee shop with everything that’s to be expected from one. These donuts will definitely get the job done. The first time I visited was in the middle of studying for finals and I woke up around 4:00AM and needed some coffee. Rollo’s happened to be the only place open and is about a block away, so perfect! I’ve been visiting the place regularly ever since. The ladies working here are very kind. They usually converse with their regulars and occasionally throw some free donut holes in your order if it’s later in the morning/noon and they have extras. Bottom line: good donuts and decent coffee.

I got 3 dozen of donut holes from an amazing donut shop in Milpitas for my clinic but … we were running low within 30 minutes and this place is super closed by so I dropped by hoping to pick up more donut holes around 8:40am and they were completely out of donut holes!!! They make them fresh every morning and it sounds like its a poplar item. Instead I picked up 18 donuts but the nice lady gave me extra. Their donuts were good and I enjoyed the ones with the beads… very pretty and yummy! $ 1 per donut. crispy crust than other places IMH. Plenty of parking on the street!

Time: 1:57pm/66°F mostly sunny Purpose: After visiting Chiaramonte’s across the street came out about to drive off. Corner of my eyes saw a word«donut» was sold base on that. Cracks knunkles thinking this might be an easy potential client. Ambiance: It’s a donut shop with five high back contour seat style tables inside, three person seater at counter, three section display case with 4 tiers. Four door cold fridge behind counter house beverages. The counter area is pretty unorganized as it felt like I was in their home. Incense and praying altar seems to be the attention getter. Inner back just the kitchen prepping area and production with bakery racks here and there as donuts getting cool down. Staff: Two older Vietnamese ladies who seems to have no interest to sell. Both looks like that of those seedy massage places mama-son running the place. When I walk in they just look at me like wtf are you buying or not kinda look. Tells me out of the blues to buy a dozen. For what? It’s almost 1pm. What am I gonna do with a dozen donuts at this time? Cleanliness: Grade B-, One of the ladies was putting on make up and tying her hair in a bun. Tables had sugar and icing crumbs visible from a distance. Eats/Drinks: Old fashion maple and chocolate/chocolate w/crushed peanuts $ 1ea. As I went after the maple old fashion the first bite I just knew right away very cheap standard. When icing shows cracking like spider web it means cheap ingredients and not that fresh. Don’t need to explain any further if you had donuts at places like 7 – 11, corner stores you know exactly what I mean. Price kinda high too as most places sells for $.85-.90 respectively. Products/Services: Donuts, juices, sodas, water, coffee/tea, milk, muffins, bagels, croissants, milkshakes, rootbeer floats, donut holes, breakfast/lunch plates. Discount for larger quantity purchases. No Wi-Fi. Punch Lines: Not too engaging employees/owners, pricey for area, standard basic donuts, not eye pleasing, no vegan options, smell of heavy grease/oil, not busy empty, pushing for sale, household/personal items strewn around, easy street parking, cash only, no lottery, very sad feeling here, not a buzzing place. Tradeoffs: Good for last minute notices! You come here because you don’t care about the quality but still want that donut no matter what. All this can be had at a local corner store. Final Thoughts: This place just doesn’t cut it for me. Very basic place has all of the requirements for running a donut shop. Something is definitely missing here. Too quiet as to hear water running next door.

If I order more than 3 donuts give me a freaking box so you don’t have to cram 5 donuts into a paper bag where all the icing rubs off onto each other creating a big sticky donut ball… :( On top of that, I get home and we can’t even eat these, they reek of rancid oil that they must have been fried in. Too bad.

This place is definitely retro in décor, and looked like it probably did when it opened years ago. That’s a good thing, as donut shops should have that feeling of the past. It has roughly six four-person tables for dining in. The donuts are pretty delicious and baked fresh daily, and the selection is decent but limited in the custard filled donut section. They also don’t have custard filled donut holes. I typically snarf the apple fritter and a cinnamon roll, which are both outstanding and glazed with sweet heaven. The apple fritter has apple chunks, like it should and the cinnamon roll is very rich with cinnamon. Sometimes we don’t make it in until early afternoon; we usually receive a few bonus donuts free of charge, but the selection is scant by then. The pricing is spot on. The coffee is brewed super dark, like it should be at a donut shop, and does not have that burnt coffee taste. She even provides the real deal coffee creamer. The lady owner is very pleasant and always greets us with«yyyeesss.» It makes me smile every time, it’s just adorable sweet demeanor. It’s a perfect match, the coffee, the donuts and I.

I’ve driven-walked past this establishment many many times! The day Adam and I stopped by is the day I’m so in trouble:) Their donut here is fresh fresh fresh! Made on site and absolutely divine and light. Unlike Adam with a bottomless desire for sweets I can only have one at most. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t had a donut in about a decade(really!) or this place is just really legitimately awesome– but I had two donuts in one sitting! Oh my! I tried the coconut and was hooked. The owner wife who’s behind the counter teased me with another one and I’m all over the second one. Weak with desire. The small shop sits across a church and a famous sandwich place called Chiaramontes sausage and deli. The shop is clean with natural light streaming thru. AC full blast on a hot south bay day. The service is fast and very mom and pops! Almost all donuts are $ 1. Big coffee cup $ 2 and stiff. They do have a breakfast selection of sandwiches with eggs and bacon. This would be our next try for sure! I’m in a very big donut trouble!
