The pastries were decent. Nothing extraordinary. I ordered the atole de avena. Ugh it did not agree with me. Sorry.

Finally stopped in after passing it for a year. They have a great selection of pastries that are all reasonably priced. Everything is made on site and it’s all fresh. There’s also coffee, juices and sodas. I didn’t see the Tortas and Tamales until I was heading out the door so I’ll have to try them on my next visit. It’s located on the side of a strip mall down from Starbucks. So it’s easy to find and well worth the stop.

The best tamales ever. They are bomb with sour cream and salsa. I have been coming here for years and never have change their flavor.

This bakery is bomb! Baker will bring out fresh warm bread out for customers waiting in line.(It gets packed !) but the wait is soooo worth it! The only place I get tortas!

Went here in the morning after grabbing a coffee at Starbucks to check out the local bakery. After perusing the shelves, I decided to go for an apple turnover. First off, the turnover cost $ 1.30, which to me seems a bit high. Unfortunately, it also tasted like a basic pastry you might get at Costco – edible, but nothing memorable. Overall, I was disappointed by my turnover, especially since I was hoping for a bakery-quality item.

This place is my number one for tortas!!! They are so delisious I’ve had the torta de carne desebrada! I also recommend the fresas con crema ice cream they have it’s so yummy!!! The location is not that great always getting stuck with traffic.

We bought birthday cake last night for my mom in-law but when we cut cake to celebrate and end up with cake is no good at all, it was sour and taste like old cake. We brought cake back and cashier said that owner was not there, she gave business card to call tomorrow. This morning my husband called but owner was not there. He talked with Manager; she said that owner told her that it’s nothing wrong with cake and why we bring only some back? I don’t know what do he want — do he want me to get out all cake from my garbage can to throw in front of door of his business or what??? What’s kind of person is that — It look like he didn’t care for his customer??? DON’T BUYCAKEFROMTHISSTOREANYMORE — THEYAREBAD /OLD CAKEANDSUCKSERVICEFROMOWNER

I love this Panderia. The baked goods are always fresh and I feel they are reasonably priced. This bakery shop is located right by Starbucks and close to the laundry mat so if you get coffee and you want something that’s not from Starbucks this bakery is very convenient. Sometimes I just like to go get something sweet while I do my laundry. Their coffee is just kind of regular run-of-the-mill coffee, but it’s not that bad. I think you should try this bakery and when you go there tell him Karen sent you

Huchepas are the best! The tamale is sweet; covered with crema, and a spicy tomatillo sauce. Their pan dulce and bolillo bread is soft in the inside and crispy on the outside! A great hidden gem! A simple décor but the name speaks for itself: «RICA!»

The service here is okay and you could almost always find parking. I mostly come here to pick up some Conchas in a bag. There’s around 6 – 7 for $ 1.99. Their cookies are pretty good too. Tamales are nothing memorable. Their tortas are a huge disappointment! It’s very small, asada lacked flavor, lack of avocados and just overall I wasn’t pleased. If you want some good tortas… drive another 2 minutes down Story Road to Mexico Bakery! Their tortas never disappoint. It’s better in quality AND quantity for only 50cents more.

More alongside Story Rd than White. Open super early. 4am. I stopped for some fresh pans before I start my weekend adventures. The variety isn’t as much as Mexico Bakery but they do have mangonadas on the menu.

Rica or Rico? I thought this place was called«Rico Panaderia» porque el pan dulce aqui es muy rico lol. I love the pan dulce here! It’s always fresh. I stopped buying pan dulce from Mi Pueblo since this place is in the same shopping center and has better pan. They also make a yummy flan(personal size). –Accepts debit cards(with a $ 10 minimum purchase) –ATM machine located inside the panaderia –Starbucks next door(for those days que quieres café con tu pan dulce) ENJOY!

o0o0ohhh ricaaa! I had the pan dulce here and it was really good. I really wish they served milk because I like to dip my pan dulce in my milk. It’s such good comfort food! They also have tamales. I ordered the pork and the chicken… they were pretty standard, I really enjoyed my pork tamales because the red sauce was good and spicy! There is a huge selection of pan dulce and they also have baked treats like flan. I was suuuuuuuuper disappointed though when they didn’t have tres leches cake… doesn’t cake remotely count as «pan»?

This place totally rocks! The Mexican bread is always baked fresh in the morning and is always soft and tasty. Large variety. Most of the things here are delicious and I would have to say my favortie thing here are their tamales which tastes GREAT!!! I say they are the best tamales around, but at $ 2.30 each they better be!

I had two HORRIBLE Experiences here. The first one was when I walked in there and bought a cream filled cone, and some milk. I went out side excited to indulge into my sweet bread, but It was not so good, the bread was stale and not only that, but I drank some of my milk and it was EXPIRED! I went In there again and she switched the milk for me but not my stale bread. The next bad experience was yesterday and it brought me to write a bad review. I walked in there and I was choosing out my bread and some random ass guy walks in and the girl stopped helping me and helped him instead. I was like, «what the fuck? I was about to tell you what I wanted. Never coming here again.

Great tortas and great sweet bread. Also great strawberry milkshakes. Overall one of the greatest panaderias in the east side. It’s in our routine for almost every weekend.

The people in the panaderia are all very nice and polite they don’t rush you to make a decision. And the bread is really good always fresh.

I walked in randomly and totally did NOT know what to order. Thankfully, the lady behind the counter was super patient with me, and explained to me what each bread was. I wish there were labels because I was really annoying asking what’s inside each one. It’s kinda like a box of chocolates. but a glass case of bread? You never know what you’re going to get… They had a lot of sweet bread, filled with different types of fillings, like apples and pineapples? Although they’re known for their sweet stuff, I was craving for something salty and wanted something small, so I got the jalapeño & cheese bread. It was pretty good! A bit too much cheese filling for my liking, but it was satisfying. I definitely want to come back for a torta or tamale when I have the appetite.

Turkey torta — this sandwich/torta is HUGE! — it had turkey, avocado, white cheese of some sort(mozzerella like but not mozz), tomatoes, jalapenos, and lettuce, all on a fresh roll She charged me for 2 palmiers, when I wanted just one… all for only 8 bucks. The torta was worth the 5 bucks! Definitely get this! palmiers were Meh… I’ve had better. I think i’ll stick to french pastries at french bakeries. and mexican goodies here. :)
