BBQ pizza isn’t too heavy and the pineapples are a nice touch.
The veggie was too loaded IMO and had too much tomato sauce than I normally like.
The Hawaiian was good and used nice sized ham.

I had been next door to La Mordita 2 and couldn’t get breakfast, so iI headed next door to New York Pizza. I wanted a Crab Melt sandwich but, they were out of crab. I ordered a salad it was fresh, large and tasty. My Chicken Pesto sandwich came w/​chips. The sandwich was full of chicken, warm and delicious. Large portions and good tasting food. Now that’s what I’m talking about! Maybe next time I’ll have pizza!

When I first arrived to this location, I was a little unsure of how the quality of the pizza would turn out because of how slow it was and how shabby it looked.
Despite its appearances, the pizza is freaking AMAZING. I was looking at the prices and I thought, «ugh $ 4 for an entire slice?! Are you serious?» Boy was that thought wrong. This place is known for its King Kong sized pizza, and trust me it was indeed HUGE.
That slice of pizza could have fed me for two meals, but let’s be real… its pizza, you never save pizza, you devour it. Which is exactly what I did.
I got the Hawaiian pizza and it was amazing. The amount of cheese on there is absolutely perfect! I usually like to get my pizza with extra cheese, because let’s be real, cheese is life, but this has just the right amount without the need to ask.
My friends got the BBQ chicken slice and chicken ranch (??) I’m not sure, but I can definitely attest that they LOVED it as well. I can wait to come back here.
For about $ 5 bucks you get a huge slice and a drink! Say waaaa. Totally worth.

Wasn’t in a pizza mood so we ordered the wings and the salad and I would come back again for both. Best wings i’ve had in a while.

Something change about this place, i dont know what it is, but is good, food just taste better, I have seen a couple of new people but it still great service the crust is just diferent pizza sauce is tasty, I’ve been coming here in almost every day now, good job guys keep it up

Just stood at the counter for 10 minutes (no exaggeration) and no one came out to help me. There was music and noise in the back so someone was definitely working. But no service at all … No review to leave except that I didn’t eat here because nobody came … Lame I really wanted pizza today. Driving somewhere else for lunch. Wasted my time

Why didn’t we try this place sooner! The best pizza we have had in a long time. Price was very reasonable. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half chicken pesto. Can’t wait to order from here again.

Just ordered the combination pizza with garlic white sauce and it was amazing. The dough is fluffy and airy, the sauce had just the correct amount of garlic, and the toppings were compiled perfectly. First time ordering from New York Pizza and won’t be the last.

Chicken pesto pizza was alright, nothing special or outstanding.
My boyfriend’s chicken artichoke calzone was alright.
Crust is probably bought? Tasted like cardboard-​ish, frozen pizza-​ish.
Sat outside in the evening and there were little nats everywhere, not really complaining since I obviously sat outside so what do you expect, but probably should invest in a mosquito/​insect lamp or something just for customer comfortability.
Service was good, the dudes working were friendly and nice.
Overall, this place is literally «alright» in all aspects. I left here saying «Meh, it’s alright.» Literally, lol.
It’s a good place if you’re gonna smoke and want a big slice of pizza for cheap… other than that, if you want a yummy pizza I would suggest Paxti’s (Brokaw), Tasty’s Subs and Pizza (Lawrence Expwy), or even Pieology is my cheap go-​to.

Have you seen the pizza slices from this place?!? Huge!!! I was really surprised when I got my pizza slice because it is definitely bigger than most pizza places. I actually compared it to my boyfriend’s phone (Galaxy s6) and it was double the size of it!!! The cooks also put a generous amount of toppings… can’t say no to that I am a huge pizza lover and I crave for pizza basically all the time. This place never fails to satisfy my pizza cravings!!! It’s even more convenient because they deliver so I don’t always have to go to the shop. Perfect place to order from when you’re having a gathering for family and/​or friends!!!

I usualy never order pizza from flyers left on my door. But i was surprised to find that this pizza was superb!
I ordered a King Kong half chicken supreme and half Hawaiian with an order of wings and was not disappointed. The kids loved all the extra cheese in the Hawaiian and the chicken supreme fell no short of that. I could taste every topping in every bite. I asked them to make my wings crispy, and with a side of ranch, it was perfect to accompany the pizza.
From the moment i ordered it took the driver a bit shy of an hour to get there just like the lady said over the phone. He brought me plenty of plates and napkins and I tipped him $ 10. Good service is hard to come by. I have to give this place the five stars it deserves, and look forward to coming back now that football season is starting up

They definitely have some of the bigger pizzas around. But quantity wasn’t enough to beat out a poor pizza. The crust was bread like, not chewy at all. The shrimp that came with the pizza were small and much fewer than what is shown on the photos. Toppings on the meat lovers were skimp as well. Burnt toppings all around. Reminded me of dominos honestly…
And they are still on the expensive side!!! For a couple bucks more, you can go to Pizza Chicago. Far better quality.

I have been ordering from this place a few times and my pizza always came hot and fresh. I love their salad portion my girlfriend and I usually split it since they are generous with their portions. I recently tried their calzones and it’s the best calzone I ever had. Last weekend I decided to stop in for a slice and Omg. Their slices were huge and taste a lot better when they just come out of the oven thin and crispy just how I like it. Very good and friendly service that I did not expect from a pizza joint. I highly recommend this place over all the other pizza chains

Good morning! I tried this place from a post I saw on IG – their King Kong Pizza slice looked AMAZING! It didn’t disappoint! My Boyfriend and I have been back and they have this steak pizza, that tastes like a philly cheese steak — AMAZING FLAVOR and fresh veggies!
My son LOVES pizza, and he’s picky as any child could be, especially a child with a well rounded eclectic palette as his. He fancies prosciutto over bacon! Yes, I’ve created a monster! ugh. He LOVES their King Kong Slices of cheese, and claims they have the BEST freshest CHEESE! If that means anything from an 8 year old. hee. You have to try this place out for yourself! Yummm!

Want a FREE PIZZA and $ 100 in cash? No, I’m not talking about those work from home scams! But If you are able to eat the whole 24″ King Kong pizza in under an hour at New York Pizza, you’ll be able to claim your prize!
The guys that work here are super friendly and laid back. Nobody’s accomplished the challenge before. 24″ inches is massive… but hell, even a one slice order is massive!
First of all, a one slice order ($ 4.50) is actually TWO slices and the slices are the size of a takeout TRAY. No lie, pictures don’t do it justice, you gotta see it in person. The toppings are LOADED onto the pizza. I love having whole pieces of chicken, lots of veggies, cheese, etc.
My only criticism? It’s not a true New York style pizza! If you’re an East Coast affectionate and only want AUTHENTIC style New York Pizza, head to Bibos. But if you’re looking for a LOADED and XL size slice at a great value… definitely try this place out! The BBQ Chicken is my favorite!
I hope the guys at New York Pizza do well. The past couple pizza places in this location haven’t done so hot. I’ll be supporting!

Will I be back? Definitely. My first visit there, my girlfriend and I were eating indoors. My girlfriend kept on eyeing the heat lamp outside and although there were closing soon, they turned it on for us (without asking!) and invited us to come dine outdoors. That kind of genuine friendly service is tough to find. I’m a fan!

I can only comment on the monstrous calzone I had the other day. My husband works down the street and comes here for lunch frequently. He has been raving about the calzone. So we decided to go here for lunch and ordered the full size crab and shrimp calzone.
While we waited, I read the other menu items. Look like they have a good selection of pizzas and sandwiches. What caught my eye was the sizes. King Kong? Must be huge! I saw other people’s slices of pizza and they were ginormous!
We waited about 15 mins or so and then our calzone came out. This thing was a beast! It was already pre-​cut and ready to eat. The crust was perfect in my opinion. Not too thick, not too thin and perfectly crispy. The filling had crab, shrimp, artichoke hearts, red onion, and tomatoes. Super tasty. The thing was so big, the hubby and I couldn’t finish it.
The place isn’t the nicest as far as looks, but for fast service and delicious food, I would definitely recommend.

On Saturday, September 6, 2014, it was New York Pizza’s Grand Opening. I was here for dinner with my family & our widow family friend. I was amazed by how huge the King Kong Size Pizza was! Awesomeeeeeee. Yes, I like it big! Wow. As in eye popping massive. Their pizza sizes are Medium 12″, Large 15″, X-​Large 18″, and King Kong 24″!
Chicken Pesto, Combination, and BBQ Chicken pizzas were great! Delicious!!! Crunchy and crisp too! Dough tasted very fresh! Many more flavors to try! It was sooo crowded & busy with many patrons! Inside and outside seats too. I’m very happy for them, especially being grand opening day. Very friendly and attentive service. Vinh is great!
Next time, besides more variations of pizza, I would like to try the wings, calzone, and salad. As soon as I saw calzone on the menu, I was already stuffed… full from all those massive sized slices! Calzone is what I loved as a child, and I am sure with the quality of the flour, sauce, and yummy toppings… I would be craving for the filling in a cheesy, ooey, gooey calzone! The ingredients are very fresh in all the pizzas I had that night!
Yummy, totally a must try in San Jose, CA! Huge portions! I highly recommend this location for your pizza, wings, salads, calzones, family, friends, & singles night!
