This Mountain Mike’s Pizza has really gone downhill. Their pizza has almost no sauce and tastes like old cardboard. They seemed to be more concerned about the blasting large screen TV’s (I think there are about 8 in the small place) than with the quality of food. It’s not really a place to bring your kids unless you want them to watch non-​stop football on the big TV’s. Unfortunately, we won’t be going there any more.

I ordered my pizza over the phone. I was told to pick it up in 15 minutes. When I arrived our large combination pizza was ready and pipping hot! When I got home I found the pizza to be full of meats, without the green peppers as I requested, and delicious. I’d used an online coupon and for the price under $ 20, I think Mountain Mikes is a good pizza at a great value.

We recently had a party at Mountain Mike’s with over 100 guests. I was so pleased with our experience. The staff was courteous, helpful and really went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. We had a big group but they were able to keep up with the food/​drink orders and get the pizza out to everyone on time. It also really helps that their pizza is delicious and fresh. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be going back again.

Mountain Mikes customer service is exceptional. The girls who take the orders are always polite and thorough. When I picked up our pizza I complimented them and also told the owner about what a great staff he has. He was grateful and thanked me. Being in the service business for many years myself I truly appreciate what they do. The pizza is delicious and I am so happy that they are in my neighborhood.

Ordered two combination pizzas and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!!! Excellent service. Emil the Manager was kind and courteous. This place is reasonably priced and they have sports on many different flat screens. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family! Thank you:)

We love the mountain mikes on Hamilton, but this one is consistently below average. There’s always something wrong with the soda machine where the soda is either out or it tastes weird. That’s been my experience on two different occasions in the last year. Buffet is lame, they don’t put out many different varieties of pizza. Salad bar is limited. Pizza is bland. Sauce seems less flavorful than Campbell Mountain Mikes.

Ate at this location for the first time and was very pleased with the food and service. Having eaten pizza already in the past week with a half cooked pizza from a different location, I came here optimistic. By far I had the best pepperoni pizza I have had in a long while. The pie was nicely cooked and crispy with every bite. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Several large flat screens to watch the game as well. If I’m ever back in this area, I will stop by this restaurant for a slice.

Isn’t pizza supposed to have cheese? It’s hard to find on this very disappointing pizza. And the place is dirty. I wanted to see the kitchen but didn’t ask because I was too hungry to go elsewhere.
I think the next time I go into a restaurant and see that it is not run by someone who actually eats the food they sell, I will turn and run. This is the 2nd Mountain Mikes I have been disappointed at. Both run by people who probably have never tasted one.

Mountain Mikes is the only pizza chain that I think has great tasting pie :-) I’ve eaten Dominos, Round Table, Papa John’s, etc. and I think Mountain Mike’s pizza is far more delicious. The pizzas aren’t greasy and the crust isn’t super thick like a lot of other pizza’s I’ve eaten. I particularly love the Veggiemore and Garlic Tuscan. I lived in San Jose up until almost a year ago and now currently live in Oakland. When I visit San Jose and it’s a Tuesday (50% off on Tuesdays!) I pick up a pizza to bring back to Oakland. Really :-)

Thought we were going to be disappointed when we saw the regular kind of pepperoni slices on our pizza when the man brought it to us… mountain mikes usually has the little round pepperoni slices. Anyways we were very surprised the pizza was great. Nice and crispy. As for the mozzarella sticks and hot wings they were great as well. :)

The pizza itself a tiny bit on the pricey side, but quite delicious, and the pepperoni are indeed superb; however the reason I’m writing this review at all was a stellar employee named Cassidy who was single handedly holding down the fort with a smile. She was answering phones, taking orders, dealing with customers in store, and helping out in the back– all with a super positive attitude. Rare yet awesome to see.

NO NO NO do not get pizza from this Mtn. Mike’s. The pizza arrived burned BLACK all around the crust… I called they said it was their oven NOT being calibrated correctly. It was an on going issue and I was not the first to complain. They could remake for me and deliver THE NEXT business day after talking to the owner or have the owner refund the purchase but that would take 4 – 5 business days becuase I ordered using their on-​line system rather than calling the store directly. I opted for the refund. Scammers I have called and called still no refund have to dispute the charge… NEVER will order from them again. OH AND BTW THE OVEN HAD NO ISSUE IT WAS THE STAFF SAID ONE OF THE WORKERS WHO SPOKE WITH ME ON ONE OF THE MANY CALLS I MADE TRYING TO GET THE PROMISED REFUND.
I also will write to corporate as this is unacceptable.

Tuesday nights are the night! Let’s just say there is a reason why we have made it a tradition :) best pizza in town! My personal favorite is the pikes peak with a nice fresh pitcher of Stella to go with it! Great place to go hang out, watch a game or fight and enjoy some amazing pizza! Best thing about this place is they’re owned by a local and they know how to show love to the locals!

I love Mountain Mikes. Fresh Pizza and Great customer service. By far the best Mountain Mike chain in San Jose is run by Emil and he absolutely has the best Customer Service I’ve ever witnessed in all Bay Area Pizza joints. Keep up the great work Emil :)

The business is very CONSISTENT in their service, freshness of their product and most importantly friendliness of their staff! In particular the owner Emil. He went above and beyond in serving me and my family. He made sure we got the right deal at the right price in timely manner. I will tell all my friends and we will be coming back very soon!

I had an afternoon off & tried their reasonably priced all you can eat lunch.
Very tasty pizza with a good selection.
I was also impressed with the salad bar; not that extensive but very fresh.
I would return here for future overeating.

Pizza is WAY OVERPRICED here which is why I only go on Tuesdays when all their pizzas are HALF OFF! They should seriously reconsider their price and perhaps more people will buy their pizzas here. The best pizza here has got to be the PINEAPPLE CHICKEN LUAU. Perfect amount of bbq sauce and pineapple. Their chicken isn’t too well done! Did not take very long to make it. HONESTLY TO DIE FOR!

Decided to pick up pizza for the fam and needed to make a purchase for my mileage program. Called on a Tuesday all set with my coupons and they tell me that all speciality pizzas are 50% off on Tuesdays! What? No wonder I was put on hold for so long as they were super busy with this crazy deal. Picked up 2 large pizzas and 6 buffalo wings for just a little over $ 30! What a steal! Took about 40 minutes even though I called them in at 5 PM, and it was packed when I entered. I also saw signs outside that they have the same deal on Sundays! Definitley will be crazy for them on Super Bowl Sunday!
Pizzas were pretty good although their creamy garlic sauce is heavier than other joints. Almost tastes like ranch.
Good service here and would definitley come in on their special deal days.
