my favorite place to get TORTAS! CUBANA– has everything you need in it. all the proteins, veggies and flavor compacted in a huge sandwich. big enough to get full off of half and save the other half to enjoy again later. CHICKENTORTA– yummy grilled chicken with lots of jalapenos and avocado! this is what i usually order here and i’m never disappointed. just incase you have a sweet tooth, they have a wide variety of baked goods from donuts to pastries, to cakes. OVERALL: really good food and big portions for a cheap/affordable price!

I only go to Mexico bakery for two things: 1. The Cubana 2. The chocolate flan cake I usually go to the location on Story but this is closer to my new home so we stopped here last night. The ladies working didn’t seem to be on their game like the ones on Story. There was a huge mass of people(maybe from same family) just congregating crowding up the cash register area. It was a bit of a mess in here. The chocolate flan was still good, but where was the chocolate covered strawberries on them? Instead there were canned cherries and peaches on the cake instead. Total downer. It was just a so-so experience.

To start this off it’s Saturday, December 26, and I’m at my family holiday party. My sister bought a flan cake from this bakery the day of and brought it over to our aunt’s house. We were all excited to eat it considering their review, but once we cut into the center of the cake we discovered mold!!! WHATTHEACTUALFUCK. What a way to ruin a party! I don’t know what to do from this point on but to write a review. My sister said I shouldn’t, but I am just to let people be aware.

People complaining about parking??? Babies! You want to talk about huge tortas, great fruit drinks, and sweet bread??? This is the place to go! Cool high tech TV menus to help you choose what you want with price and friendly staff to take your order quick. The tortas… these are huge! If you order a meat torta, you will be hooked up with piled up meat upon meat upon meat along with fresh onions, tomatos, jalapanos, and avocado!!! Who would of known that avocado would come standard with a meal! Usually you pay extra, but these place hooks it up!!! If you want spicy salsa, you can generously pour some yourself from their condiment stand. I ordered a cheese asado torta with strawberry fruit shake. Both were excellent and freaken fantastical flavorful. The strawberry shake was filled with fruit, not your typical un-flavorful fruit shakes normally ordered at other places. My friend suggested this place for lunch when we could not decide… I’m glad he did! –Nestor

5 stars for the Milanesa Torta, the torta is HUGE well packed with lots of meat, avocado, tomato, onions, jalapeños and queso frescoo. Even though the meat can be a bit tough this is overall one of The BEST tortas in the Bay Area. I’ve also had the cubana but didn’t care for that one. The pan dulce is also very good with lots of choices to pick from. They have this bread pudding looking bread which is my absolute favorite too bad it’s not always available.

ESJ. You know what to expect. Parking is limited to less than four cars –__– or you can try and get st parking, good luck. Only tried carne asada torta, and it’s worth the price. They stack the carne and veggies in it. Service: well, depends who you get. One lady ignored me, while another was nice. I could see if you don’t speak Spanish how they would treat you. Not cool.

When you think of Tortas this is a place that should come to mind. They are the biggest monstrous Mexican sandwiches I have ever seen. They are so delicious and stuffed with a lot of ingredients and condiments. Tomato, onion, avocado, cheese and jalapeños. You can choose from different meats like chicken, beef, chorizo and pork. Chicken is my preference of choice .The sandwich will definitely feed two people. The staff is nice and friendly. If you get there at the right time of day they give out free out of the oven bread samples. What else can you ask for. They also have a huge selection of cakes and Mexican bread. Parking is the only downside of this location. This place is a must. Stop by if you are in the area. You won’t regret it.

Best torta azada ever! I loved that it was filled with so much tasty meat. They also loaded it with tons of avocado which I loved. I think it’s the best bang for your buck torta

Worst service ever for such great pastries. Third time here. I won’t say what I feel. However I will let you know how bad my service was. Take it from there. I waited 20 minutes. I was next in line three times. I asked why am I not getting served I was told to get in line. I went and got back in line. Then when I got to the front again. The server didn’t understand me in English. Same person. Then the guy in back of me he served again as if I was never there in the first place. Like he didn’t care. And truthfully didn’t want to help. The ladies there were so busy and they’ve helped me perfectly fine for the 6 months going there religiously for cakes, flan, pastries. I won’t come here again. Regardless of how I was disrespected and treated like scum. Its best to come here when it’s not busy and when people aren’t acting racist and ignorant. Be warned. I have been coming here every other month and never felt so disrespected by anyone ever in front of a room full of non English speakers. I felt a burn that hurt so bad it was pure inner hatred of how people are mistreated of different cultures. Save your money. Go elsewhere where respecting customers is a way to do business.

Terrible parking. Terribly slow service. Asada is hella tough and bland. Get the Torta Cubano. If I can go here everyday for a torta, I would.

Great Bakery but their oatmeal is either too sweet, burnt or there isn’t anymore. They need step up their oatmeal since I love oatmeal.

This is the spot if you’re craving a torta! My favorites are the chicken, carne asada, and cheese torta. While you’re there, you should also get some pan dulce(sweet bread). I also love coming here in the mornings before work to pick up fresh sweet bread for my coworkers.

This post is about the mexico bakery at white and story. Worst service ever, an older lady picked up on the name(Angeles) was extremely rude to me. She skipped me when it was my turn in line, then when she finally got to me she started making faces at me. The bread and the tortas are delicious, but as I was eating my torta at a nearby table this older lady again started yelling at her employees! I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed for them. I left the bakery disgusted, how could someone treat another human being like that? I will not be returning here again, unless that rude Angeles woman gets fired.

I wish I can go here everyday, but I have to trek myself not to! Where do i begin? I’ll start by saying that all their pan dulce is delicioso! All of them! They’re baked fresh throughout the day. One of the bakers asked me if i wanted to wait for the chocolate/sugary one, that was just coming out of the oven. I said, «ofcourse, thank you!» Oh, and the tortas? Ay dios mio! They’re so good; my fav if the pollo. Piping hot, thinly sliced, grilled chicken breast, avocado, jalapenos, tomatoes, slivered onions, on a sesame grilled bun? Yes, please! Jamon and carne tortas are good but not like the pollo! Customer service is wonderful! No other pananderia compares! Vamonos!
