This bakery is pretty good. There is usually always a line. They have THEBEST Pan Borracho and EVERYONE must know it because its ALWAYS sold out. This last time we went, there were 2 pieces of borracho left. The guy that was being helped took one of the breads. We were still next in line and kinda spoke up and asked the lady if we can call dibs on the last piece of borracho. She said«oh you have to wait your turn». As soon as that guy heard we wanted the last piece, hes all«Oh im gonna go ahead and take the last piece of that bread». Effing prick.

Their bread is always fresh, they have a wide selection. I’ve had their champurrado and atole de avena, both are delicious.

super cheap, but cash only. they have different kinds of empenadas(the triangular ones) like chocolate, custard, sweet potato, etc. they’re under a dollar for each too! the concha shell ones are all the same, just different colored and the pastries are mainly corn based i think since i taste maiz flavoring. they’re not too sweet either so that’s always a plus. witu coffee it’s even better. tamale, tortas, café also available, friendly staff, but feels weird being the only«china» in the bakery… if you buy a box, i think it’s about $ 5 or something. just know that it’s a lot cheaper than a chinese bakery like kee wah.

This is the BEST panaderia in the south bay. Hands-down. There are others and they may be good — really good, but, this place is outstanding. They have a variety of breads to chose from and usually run out of many varietals since people usually pick-up several breads. You won’t be disappointed.

Bread is OK in case of an emergency. I find Chavez and Mi Mueblo to have better bread. Panadería México and Pink Elephant are way better choices. Ladies working can sometimes be difficult if you want a specific bread picked from the bunch.

I have been meaning to rate this place for some time as I have been a customer for at least a year. This panaderia is legit. Quality, variety and price is spot on anytime I stop by for some tasty Mexican sweet bread. I have tried a variety of their offerings and have found them to be fresh and tasty every time. Definitely my go to spot.

We are from Europe and we have never tried mexican breads before. So i found it through Unilocal and since i am a pastry chef, i thought it would be a good idea to try them! We loved them both me and my husband! At first you might think it is a kind of weird shop, but the lady was really nice and polite. And we took like 5 different pan dulce to try at home! We are going to go back for more!

The bomb, conchas! Soft Bread! Flaky crusts, delicious everything here from the traditional breads to modern turnovers and cakes. Soft, moist, delicious, and fast service, with 1 person behind the counter and the line outside the door going all the way to Subway, it’s worth the wait for this delicious Panaderia. Specialty cakes as well, orders, catering can be achieved. This is a traditional place, with personal service, and helpful. I don’t speak Spanish fluently, but I surprised them with my order. Surprise your family and make a stop here for the goodies. This place is truly a taste of Mexico, and I recommend this place to all who enjoy Mexican pastries. This is a TAKEOUT place, no seating, get it and go, take out. Fresh coffee, tea available upon request. I will return for my sweet tooth moments.

The variety and freshness of the bread here is great. Not to mention their hours are extensive so that I can get fresh pan dulce whenever I want. Staff is friendly, not sure about their English because I’ve always used Spanish… though my husband doesn’t speak it and he always comes back with what I wanted! This place has the best, softest conchas I’ve had anywhere… just like Mexico. :)

Some of the bread is OK, I personally prefer my custard bread more deep fried but the desserts are my daughter’s favorite. This is the ONLY place I know of that makes the BESTCHAMPURRADO ever!!! It is super thick with lots of masa… I’ve tried 3 other places, but this is by far the best if you want Champurrado… Parking is tight and remember to bring cash only…

I went here since I began living in the area in search of good food. I noticed at night that there’s tons of people lined up to get food here so I decided to give it a try. I ordered their ham torta and it was less than $ 5. They do not toast the bread unlike many places but it was good try it cold, though the bread is still good. The Mexican cheese that they add is big and probably would scare those who are on a diet. The rest was good and I would probably go back for more. English can be a challenge but the workers try to be helpful.

I’ve been searching high and low for the ultimate mexican bread. I think I just might have found it here at El Pan Dulce Bakery. Tucked away in the parking lot of the Walgreen on McKee and King. This little jem of a bread store is unasuming. Plentiful in a wide variety of differnt Mexican Bread. They even have them name labeled on each one. So for the NONe spanish speakig customer«ME» can attempt to pronouce them. lol Not to worry cuz this bakery has excellent customer service. The Cashiers can handle a crowd with ease. They are patient with everyone spanish speaking or not. I usually came here every Sunday to get my week of Mexican bread. Which go great with a warm cup of coffee.

Small parking lot. Cash only. Easy access from the freeway. I can stop by for a carb quickie. Well stock with all of the usual pan. Pan dulces are labeled here. I wish they’d do that everywhere else. Sometimes I come here to learn the names if not google them myself.

Up to no good in the hood so I decided to treat myself to something sweet. I just saw«Bakery» and I skee-skirted my car right into the parking lot. Right outside their front door, I passed on someone trying to sell me some DVDs. I picked out some cookies and pan dulce and I must say, I’m so glad I made that illegal right turn from the far left lane to make their parking lot ‘cuz those things were damn delicious.

I totally forgot about this bakery. I see it everyday on my way to school. My dad was the one that reminded me this bakery exited. He took me here once I told him I wanted arroz con leche. Before stopping here we stopped by the bakery near our house, El buen Gusto they didn’t have any. I was really craving arroz con leche! My dad was nice enough to take me down the street to this bakery. Came here this morning to obey my arroz con leche craving. Walked in I was totally confuse. Hello, I’m an asian girl in a Mexican Bakery surrounded by SOME words I don’t know. Before entering I was already getting stared at by the guys lingering around the door. Probably wondering«What is this asian girl doing here?» I walked into the bakery, I was drawn to the aroma of fresh baked goods. To bad I wasn’t there for their fresh baked goodies. I wanted arroz con leche. The women who helped me was nice. I asked her for arroz con leche and she said they only have it «frio» meaning cold. I know that because I took Spanish class. I got a little confuse because I only had hot arroz con leche. Since I was really craving it I got it anyways. She also introduced me to azole con leche and asked me if I wanted it.(Azole con leche– Corn with milk.) I was a little skeptical about it at first. To my surprise she gave me a little cup to try! I drank the sample, and I wanted it right away!!! I got my arroz con leche and discovered azole con leche! The total came out to be $ 3.25! It was really cheap for the both of them, I was surprised by how cheap it was. When I walked out the door I was holding my arroz con leche in one hand and azole con leche in one hand SMILING. The guys at the front door were still staring now they were probably wondering«Asian girl Mexican drink and food huh?» I will probably come here tomorrow morning or Pink Elephant Bakery just to see how their arroz con leche taste! I want to come here tomorrow to try their tamales though but I’m not sure yet.
