Bye Bye good drinks and hot bartenders! You will be missed, especially if Starbucks moves in.

Best happy hour. Try the spicy fried chicken and devil eggs. Small plates and cocktails are really cheap. Everything looks fancy and tastes amazing.

Came here for brunch to assess the«club» and see if the food was good. So bear in mind: I cannot comment on Fahrenheit Lounge as a lounge/nightclub. Food was very good, menu gourmet bar food/brunch usuals. Had one Vegan Choice: Portobello Burger(hold the cheeze) Fries were good but not great. More Vegan/Veg Choices would be nice. Décor: Dingy(chipped paint and dirty celling lights) and seat leather had tears. Also what looked like spider webs in lamps though may have been for hanging stuff anyways a lot of Décor/Ambience issues for eating food. At night when the lights are low and most are dancing and tipsy or drunk it may not matter, cannot comment on that. Bar was laid out nice though. Service was good. Bathroom: Stone and modern fixtures, but dirty. Interestingly: The faucet was effed up and spewed water all over my jeans… Really… I mean Really?! I just laughed: Fahrenheit… One Star… But the Portobello Burger made up for it! Overall: As a venue for dining: Good Food /Poor Atmosphere and Vibe. There are much much better in Downtown SJ. So… For DJing in…?

Yikes the service was a disaster. The food was alright but not worth the price. A couple people ordered the seabass and were disappointed by the small portions and bland taste. I got the brussel sprouts and thought it was tasty! I’d be back for that except we had a terrible experience with the service. What happened is that we had a party of around 20 people and split the checks individually. It’s completely understandable to take awhile to process these checks but 1 hour and 45 minutes is not acceptable. Especially with no apology or anyone checking up on the party. To top it off, when a guest from our party went up to the front to ask for the receipts, my friend was given a stack of credit cards and receipts to hand back to the table herself! I guess customers are supposed to do work for the waitresses at Fahrenheit? Very odd service. So much for an «upscale» restaurant in downtown SJ.

Mediocre food. Poor service. I’m sad that I spent $ 40+ on a single drink and entrée that was forgettable at best.

Chef Danny Chu’s braised short ribs was the BEST meal I’ve ever tasted! Seriously, and I’ve had my fair share of delicacy! An Oak-Town Local I am glad to have had the pleasure to meet. Keep up the great job And Happy 10 years!

Their happy hour is pretty awesome. I love their grilled cheese, and the soup it comes with is fantastic. Plus, the bartenders are nice, so what’s not to like? Vinnie and Steve took great care of us and it’s always a fun place for people watching and catching up. I’m a fan!

Had dinner for the first time at Fahrenheit, loved it! It was seriously a food pleasure party. My husband and I both agree, this was a hidden food treasure, Executive Chef, Danny Chu, definitely knows what he is doing!

We come from all the way from riverbank Ca and they don’t let us inn because my jeans are baggie? Stupid bouncer was rude, I’m up to dress code. We were bar hopping and i was let in by 4 other bars, stupid back dude was just being stupid because I asked if they were letting people in, but it’s fine my group of 7 people spend our money in a club or bar were they want to make money, and we’re they don’t have bad customer service. In all less than 1 star

This review is specifically regarding private events. I worked with Eric, the manager at Fahrenheit, on my engagement party in October 2014. He was very helpful and flexible with us, and assured us that his business partner/chef, Danny, would be our on-site event manager for the evening. Leading up to the event, I worked with Eric on logistics regarding our menu of passed appetizers and limited hosted bar. He assured us that we would be in good hands with Danny, who was to be our on-site event manager. In our contract, we were to have a bartender, 2 servers and 1 busser throughout the event. We had gotten permission to arrive early to set up on the day of the event as well. When we showed up earlier in the day, our area was messy from the night before — glasses and napkins littered the tables. Danny told us that it would be cleaned up shortly after. He also told us that the area was for our private event only, and no one would be seated there prior to or during our event. We had a slideshow that Eric let us know could be put on a USB stick and plugged into the plasma TV, but we found there was no USB capability. Danny offered to burn a DVD of our slideshow and that we didn’t need to worry. We left to finish up some errands and get ready before coming back. Once we arrived, there was a large group was seated in our area and having dinner. The glasses/napkins still hadn’t been cleaned up. Danny was behind the bar, and seemed to be busy. We had a few décor items to hang up, but were unable to due to the group having dinner. Danny ended up making his way over and explained he is short staffed. I asked him for the DVD, and he said he left it at his house and basically laughed it off. At this point, I knew I had to get involved with the management of the event, otherwise it would have been a mess. I spoke with the server who was assigned to our area, and let him know exactly what the hosted drinks were(he had not been briefed on it, so we could have been paying for anything that our guests ordered). I also started directing some staff to assist with cleaning up the area, bringing in some tablecloths, moving furniture around, etc. Danny remained behind the bar, and was not assisting. As I was running around ensuring that everyone was on the same page, guests started to arrive. Passed appetizers started to go out, one server was taking orders, and no one was bussing tables. So, I ended up also bussing tables as the napkins and glasses piled up. Our guests weren’t able to get their drink order taken, so they would give up and go to the bar. Danny circled back with my fiancé and I as we were trying to get a drink at the bar, and was laughing about how our guests were ‘crazy’ and just totally nonchalant about the horrible experience we had just had with the event. Instead of enjoying our engagement party, we basically had to do a majority of the execution, which is completely unacceptable. I left Fahrenheit so angry with the level of service, and immediately reached out to Eric. He assured me that this was unacceptable, and would remedy it with Danny. Danny texted(yes, texted) me, asking me to come into the restaurant to talk it over with him. I let Eric know that it was unprofessional of Danny to text me, and Eric said that Danny would call me soon — which he never did. Fast forward to January…3 months post event. Danny e-mailed me a half-apology, and basically took off a small percentage of the bill along with offered a gift certificate. I let him and Eric know that based on our poor experience, we didn’t plan on ever going back and would rather have the gift certificate applied towards our balance to help offset the issues. No response. Early February(4 weeks after I responded), Danny sends me a follow up, basically inferring that I would be sent to collections and legal action would be pursued if I did not pay immediately. After many back and forth messages, Eric got involved and his tone had completely changed from being understanding to being threatening. He accused us of trying to avoid payment in general, when in fact, we wanted to settle the bill back in October. I was insulted by the way he responded to me, and I am in disbelief over both his and Danny’s poor communication skills. This ordeal lasted 4 months, and hosting the event there was probably the worst decision that we had made with regards to our wedding. For anyone looking into having an event here, I highly advise against it and hope that no one has the same poor experience that my fiancé and I did.

VERY upset with the customer service of this place because of many aspects and will not be coming here ever again. If you do not want to read my review in detail below, then I will make a quick summary here: Pros: — delicious Lychee Martini — cozy atmosphere Cons: — squishy seating for huge parties(our party was a size of 15 and we could all barely move from our seats) — rude waitress for the entire length of our dinner — waited 1.5 hours for the bill to come(you’re going to enjoy my detailed story below) — small portions & expensive(the taste of the food is not worth the price) — We had a huge party(probably of about 15 people) because we were celebrating my friend’s birthday. With a reservation prepared ahead of time, we were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. The waitress at our table was extremely rude as soon as we sat down; she had no smile, no patience, and looked like she did not want to be there. Looking at our huge party, we assumed that she judged us off the bat that we were going to be an obnoxious group of customers because for the entire time that we stayed at the restaurant, she treated us with impatient and rude remarks. There was barely ANYBODY at the restaurant(if you look around, empty tables were everywhere around us) and she told us to hurry up with our drinks orders because she didn’t want the«bar to be backed up by a huge amount of drinks». Okay… makes sense if it’s a busy night, but the restaurant was pretty empty. Also, there was nobody at the bar! How could the drinks be backed up?! From the start of the night, everybody in my party was talking about how she was mean. With her obvious pushiness and impatience, our table only ordered two drinks, which were two Lychee Martinis. I was one of the customers who ordered this drink, and I have to say that it was one of the best cocktails I have ever tried. It was very sweet and delectable, but the slight hint of alcohol did not overpower this fruity cocktail. I definitely would recommend anybody to order the Lychee Martini. Then, we had to order our food. Her face pretty much radiated an expression of «hurry up and order so I can get out of here». We all hastily ordered in order to not make her even angrier looking. Our food came out at an appropriate time, which was good. All of the entrees looked delicious, but unfortunately they were overpriced, especially with their so-so quality in taste. Both the seabass and duck entrees were delicious, flavorful, and tender. However, you’d have to order 3 entrees of these dishes to even get remotely full; that’s about over $ 75.00. I haven’t tried the burgers, but they definitely looked tasty and are more worth it for your money. Plus, the burgers come with some crispy and delicious fries! Throughout the length of our dinner, she filled our waters once. And by waters, I mean the water pitcher, which is probably the same exact size as two glasses. And we had three pitchers. So imagine how many people in our party were dehydrated of water throughout our 4-hour dining experience with«six glasses» of water to share amongst 15 people? Now, the worst part of this night was probably how long it took them to process the bill. It was nice of the waitress to allow us to use our credit cards separately for the bill(so that’s about 15 credit cards) since normally that’s not allowed. However, she did not return to our table for 1 hour and 45 minutes after collecting our credit cards. It does not take an hour and forty-five minutes to process our payments. Totally ridiculous. So because of whoever was handling our payments, whether it be our waitress or the managers of the place, they delayed our future plans to go to another event because we were stuck in the restaurant from 6PM-10PM, with almost half of that waiting time being our payment time. And when she finally came back, her«excuse» that she made was«I’ve only been working here for a month, so let me ask my manager if you guys can pay with your individual credit cards.» The intention was nice, but her tone was definitely not. Also, after waiting 1.5 hours for our bills, one of my friends went up to check on the bills. Instead of delivering it to our table, the waitress said«Oh, you’re going back to the table? Take these». And she hands my friends ALL of the bills… if you can’t do your job, get out. Also, on my way to the bathroom, I witnessed a lady leaving after finishing up her drink. Instead of saying«excuse me», the bartender said«uh lady, you didn’t pay for your drink». I understand that the lady either mistakenly or intentionally forgot to pay, but I am sure that an employee can come up with a better, more appropriate line to say than that disrespectful comment. So tonight, I witnessed not just one, but two poorly trained workers at Fahrenheit. Because of this unfortunate experience, I will never go here again or recommend any of my friends/family to go here because of the horrible customer service.

We had chicken wings. The sauce was pretty good. The chicken was not good. The ambience was nice and dark and music was techy. The seating is firm leather. I bet this is a really nice happening lounge if you come late. We were there early so we were the only ones happening at the time.

I had a reservation for Valentine’s dinner, and kind of disappointed. The service and quality of food was not good as they advertised. My server was all over the place and didn’t take time to listen to us. With the price I paid for this dinner, I’d have had much better food elsewhere. There was no flower for the ladies as they said it was supposed to. Won’t do this again!

So they seat at a regular table after telling them that ur hear for HH. HH is only offered at the bar and booth. Menu had it’s scratched out by pen. Bartender advised us that there was 3 items that they were currently out of. Slow service in general for pub food. Sorry to say not a fan and won’t be back even if they offered free food and drinks.

Ok I have to admit, there were times that I walked by this joint and thought it was, well… a little douchie. Boy, I must of came in on the right night! They do awesome craft cocktails and the food– oh my fuck the food! It’s a mix between Asian and Italian dishes, farm to table. You must get the pasta, and the duck, and the… Service is spot on. Not like your typical«I’m just here because I need money for my startup.» They actually give a shit about your dining experience.(imagine that) Yes one my think it is a little pricy but it is such a deal for what you receive!

Janet O. and I came here on a Tuesday to grab a quick bite. We were greeted at the door and sat in the lounge area, one of two options for the happy hour dinning, the other is the bar. The couches are quite comfortable; however, the ambiance was quite dim to a point where reading the menu became a challenge. In fact, when I came home and reviewed the photo of the menu, to my surprise I noticed other items on the menu. Hint, use your phone as a flashlight. Our waiter, Aaron, was an unbelievable server, one you would expect at a Michelin rated restaurant, as his demeanor was perfect for a waiter; polite, friendly with pleasant smile and super attentive. Fahrenheit offers a happy hour special with Unilocal check in, free food item with a purchase of regularly priced drink, which he did not fuss about and actually gave us an advantageous deal. The happy hour menu is limited to seven choices in three price categories, so selecting what we wanted was effortless, Our order include the 100% angus beef cheeseburger(added bacon for $ 1 extra), spicy chicken drummettes, and french fries(combination of white and sweet potatoes). Each item was served with its dedicated side dressing. The burger was extraordinary, very juicy and flavorful, with a price tag of $ 5, and actually free with our special deal. The spicy chicken drummettes were lacking that plumpness of meat and tasted spicy and sweet, I would rated them as edible. We ended up going to Trials Pub to curb our appetite for chicken wings promptly after we finished here. The french fries were really delicious, crisp and not greasy. Overall, the food was excellent except for the bony chicken. The drink was what really hit the mark; I had the Strawberry Watermelon Mojito. It was incredibly fresh tasting with bits of fruit and mint and had a color of pink, which I would not recommend if you are a guy out with your buddies. But we all know that real men wear pink, myself included.
