Claire’s… I have a love and hate relationship with this shop. Love the earrings, but hate that I always want to get so damn many. I used to go once every couple of months and buy all the new food related ones that I didn’t get before — super cute and totally me!
More recently, though, I’ve been getting the nicer looking earrings. You can never go wrong with the buy 2 get 1 free deal… I came in on Saturday and had better luck… by getting 4 pairs because one was just $ 1! You can only imagine how ecstatic I was over that!
It’s a good thing this place isn’t expensive…

Oh dear God, I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole back to kindergarten.
I used to love Claire’s for cheap hair accessories and bracelets in high school. They actually had a decent selection of stuff.
Then I dropped in yesterday on a mission for space-​like, futuristic accessories and was greeted with fake Hello Kitty stuff and crap from that movie «Fame». Huh?! What happened to the cheap silver and gold sparkly jewelry and row after row of headbands and hair clips?
They’ve also changed the store around and made it impossible to look at anything for more than a second without getting in someone’s way. As soon as a group of middle schoolers walked in, I high-​tailed it outta here.
I attribute this mistake in judgment to low blood sugar.

I use to think this store was cool… when I was like TWELVE!!! And the only reason I thought it was cool was because it had cheap stuff for sale, not for the girly stuff/​make up or whatever. It was for the cute lil trinket boxes that you could hold things in or the lil piggy banks. Anyways I went here w/​my cousin a lot and we would split the 5 $ for 10 items deal. I loved going to the lil cash register desk to buy the really cheap lil knick knacks that I didn’t need or would use at all. I do NOT enjoy the annoying ppl who go here to buy things to pretty themselves up. And the lil tweens are annoying.
Well I’ll never be returning here ever again. My tastes has upgraded… not by choice, but by the coercion of my ex.

Four stars for selection– but only three for the store in general. The aisles were so cluttered with things that I was beginning to feel claustrophobic. They have an excellent assortment of hair accessories, but most of the jewelery is cheap plastic. I didn’t find anything interesting other than hair accessories. My little girl adores this store. Claire’s is perfect for you if you happen to be a pre teen girl, or have a need for costume jewelery.
