This market is hidden from the street but I’m glad I saw the fresh fish sign on top of a truck. It made me pull in and no regrets. So many veggie stands and there’s freshly popped popcorn for my kids and the freshest and best fish guy!

The more people who go here, the bigger it will get. I love the ambiance and fresh veggies/fruit. Shortbread for strawberry shortcake it worth the trip!

Unfortunately Ron, the fish vendor is no longer there.. He is really really missed. You just do not find quality seafood like Ron had anywhere else. I know I’m not the only one who’s singing the blues over not seeing him there. There are still good produce vendors, especially Medina farms who has THE best strawberries, raspberries and blackberries bar none! It’s worth a stop in just for those!

Visiting the Champs Farmers Market in Almaden has now become a Sunday ritual for me. Since its a stones throw away from my home, I either stop by after my hike/bike ride early morning or walk to it midday. The vendors are very friendly and I get some good veggie and fruit gardening tips from them. They have some of the best strawberries and blackberries. The oranges this year are super sweet too. I also love the Roasted Garlic Hummus from the small Hummus Heaven stall. Most of my veggie and fruit shopping is done from here. There’s a live band playing, a few tables to sit on and enjoy the food and sun. It’s small compared to some other Farmers Markets but I really care most about the quality and the convenience.

My kids and I decided to stop off here because my son had a flag football game at Leland High School. It’s a farely small Farmers Market. There’s not really too many vendors there to pick from but if you only need a few specific things, you may have luck here. I just ended up getting my kids some bread and we sat down at a table and got to enjoy the sun and the music that was playing by a live singer/band. So it was really nice.

I am glad we have this little farmers market in the area. We really needed one! Lots of fresh organic produce at a good price! I really like a falafel place too! I just got fresh honey too which was really good too. They open every Sunday and Wednesday. Location is really good with a lot of parking.

Just went there this afternoon, thinking that they closed at 3:00 on Wednesdays. However, today they are open until 6:00 p.m. Check it out if you’re in the area. Purchased some strawberries, heirloom tomatoes, green onions, and some goat cheese from Petaluma:)

Great addition to Almaden Valley. The Farmers Market is open on Wednesdays and Sundays. Hours vary but usually 10a — 2pm. There are two rows of vendors– one row with mostly local farms with fruits and vegetables. On Sundays there is an orchid vendor and a place for cut flowers. On the second row there are a couple of food vendors including Falafel Fresh and Gyros, a kettel corn vendor, fresh seafood and a salsa and guacamole vendor. There are a couple of tables with umbrellas and sometimes a musician playing on Sundays. Super glad that this mostly vacant shopping center is getting some life back with this twice a week farmers market.
