El Torito Tacos is a new hole in the wall taco shop in San Jacinto in the 500 S State St plaza. I’ve been there twice so far and unfortunately the meat is hit or miss. The first time was very good, but the second time I couldn’t tell the difference between their carne asada and their pastor; they were over-​cooked so they were both a burned crunchy mess. The reason I voted positive though is how you can have your tacos made. All tacos are $ 1.29 except fish which was at $ 1.59. I ordered my tacos and asked for «no onions» and the server asked me if I wanted guacamole and salsa on it and I said yes. Then she asked if I wanted cheese and I asked how much extra and she said none. Then she asked if I wanted sour cream and I asked how much extra is that and she said none. So then I asked if I could have sour cream on the side for my quesidilla and she said yes and didn’t charge me for that either. Point is, I can’t think of any other taco shop off the top of my head that gives you all those extras without charging, and for that I give them a thumbs up!
