Decent for all you can eat hot pot. Smallish sauce bar, but they had the basics. Beef tripe and beef tendon were both pretty good, the thin sliced beef was also decent, as was the lamb and the fish balls. Mushrooms were all solid, as was the sponge tofu. Veggies all looked fresh too. Main killer? They were out of at least 4 menu items, and while they told us about at least two of them when we ordered, we had at least 2 other items we kept ordering that mysteriously never arrived(in this visit, it was pork belly and chicken, and I think at least one veggie. so 5 items?). Would’ve been nice to have slightly better explanation on what was and wasn’t available– ended up a bit frustrating. And let’s be honest, while all the food was generally«good», you don’t go to AYCE hot pot for the quality.

The food here is tasty, especially their sesame pancake and their Mongolian lamb skewers, so yummy~

I prefer the one at the Pasadena. This location is fairly old. The smell inside of the restaurant is too heavy that seems the AC does not work well. It is all you can eat all week for lunch and dinner. You could go there by yourself for AYCE. The lamb and beef is good. The soup base taste a little bit more heavy then the other location in Pasadena. Be there earlier that their last call for lunch is 2:15pm.

This is one of my far most favorite all you can eat hot pot! The location takes place in this huge plaza upstairs and on a busy day, the place can get really packed. The parking can be crowded, especially in the weekends so unless you don’t want to park, you’ll probably be following the people with carts trying to get out. They have lots of meat and with the premium option, you can even get more. I feel like the quality of the meat is really top notch. I like it better than element hot pot which is down valley, near the hat. The service wasn’t that bad, although it’s hard to get the servers attention sometime. For about 25 bucks for all you can eat, I’d say it’s worth it! Definitely would come back.

DELICIOUSMEATS, SAUCESANDBROTH. I will admit, I’m not a fan of hot pot, until now. Little Sheep has converted me into an appreciative fan. Their quality meats, flavorful sauces and spicy broth were a trifecta of deliciousness. The key to hot pot for me has been the dipping sauce, and here I finally got it right, thanks to their sweet garlic sauce. As Axl Rose says, «oh, oh oh oooh, sweet garlic sauce!!!» Add a spoonful to your dipping sauce and you will sing too. I’m also not a huge fan of lamb, but their New Zealand lamb lacked that musky lamb taste. Well worth a try. The ying yang spicy broth bowl gives you the best of both worlds, if you like it hot.

Little Sheep sits on the second floor of Focus Square. The quality of the meats & seafood were pretty good, the sauces were decent but not greet, and the service was decent. The restaurant itself was clean, too. While we waited, our server brought us some dono sweet bread to munch on while waiting for our meet to cook. It was pretty tasty, but nothing special. Overall, Little Sheep is a pretty good deal. We selected the all-you-can-eat option for two people and spent only %50.04 before tip, We left very full and satisfied. I just wish that the sauce from the self-serve side bar was tastier.

Yup, this place is good. One of my favorite hot pot spots in the area, without a doubt. The atmosphere here is really special, and the prices are cheap for the quantity and quality. They serve beer, which is a must with hot pot… In my opinion. Parking can get a little rough. This parking lot is a hot spot and requires patience sometimes. The food and broth were up to standards. I was pleasantly surprised by how big their portions were. I’ll be back.

I came for the AYCE lunch for $ 22.95. Overall, a pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean and the service was quite attentive. It’s pricey for lunch, but it is ayce and I thought the quality of ingredients were very good. You get to order almost everything off the menu for the $ 22.95 price. If you want the premium ingredients, it’s an additional $ 3/person. This includes tiger shrimp and ribeye beef. I am satisfied without the extra $ 3 because you get regular shrimp and angus beef and that is good enough for me for lunch. I recommend ordering ½ portions if you are with a small group so you can have a good variety of different ingredients rather than just a few variety of ingredients to put in your hotpot. Their full portions are a good size, especially if you have a party of 2 or 3. So try their ½ portions first and if you want more, you can always order more. They didn’t have green onions at the sauce bar! My must have in my sauces.

One of my favorites in this town! Price is slightly higher than I expected, so half star off Taste: highly addictive Quality: fresh everything, especially the thin slices meat! Much thinner and a lot more than shabu shabu! Environment is great ! Very clean for a Chinese restaurant and always clean sauce counter. Service: not much of a service here! It’s self serve, which everyone can eat anything and mix the sauce he or she wants to ! 4.5 stars ! But since the taste is so good and way too many fresh ingredients to choose from I’ll push it to a 5 !

Hot Pot is one of the foods I live for. AYCE Hot Pot? Does it get any better than that? When you first walk in, you’re immediately greeted with the distinct smell of well, hot pot. You can pick either the AYCE option($ 22.95) or order single items off the menu. Go with the AYCE because it’s a really great deal and the menu is pretty extensive. The menu is split in R. 1, 2, and 3. It’s basically AYCE for 3 rounds of ordering. They have a huge array of sauces at their sauce bar so go ahead and mix on. I wish they had a bigger variety of soup bases, but you cannot go wrong with the Yin/Yang. MUSTGET: –LAMB –LAMB –LAMB: the lamb here is so tender and it’s cut thinly. –TOFUSKIN: thin and tender –NOODLES:so chewy and delicious Just an fyi, they’re pretty bad at inputting what you order into the computer, so you’ll likely be missing dishes. Just kindly remind them to bring it/re order it! They seem pretty understaffed and everyone who works there is pretty friendly. Cut them some slack! You’ll leave here full and smelling like hot pot for days.

1. 3 Rounds. So here you order 3 rounds for all you can eat, it’s a great way to order but yet not wasting. 2. Friendly staff, Nice Service. It’s very comfortable dinning here, came empty stomach and server help with ordering. 3. Not enough items. $ 22.95/adult, the menus needs to get a little bigger, do see more options at very end but charges $ 3 more for those are supposed to be on regular menu.

Okay, first off, yes the meat was awesome. Unlimited sauce bar? Awesome. Soup? Okay. Service? Horrible Meat: The lamb and beef was really tender and fresh Sauce bar: Heaven of unlimited sauces Soup: we got the Yin/Yang. So herbal and spicy. I honestly felt the soup didn’t have much flavor. My opinion though, so don’t kill me. Service: HORRIBLE. Right when we walked in, the lady in the front ignored me and my siblings. She didn’t acknowledge us at all. No greeting or what so ever. It wasn’t until a family came right after us, that she said how many to my group before helping them. –__-. Later on, when our food arrived, some of the food was missing, so we told the waiter. He said he would bring it right out. never did.whatever, we were finishing up anyway. So when we got the check, the food he forgot was still on it, so we told that lady. Guess what she said? «No. It’s correct.» How is it correct when you weren’t the one serving us? You didn’t even bother asking the waiter. She didn’t take it off until we had to grab that waiter.-.- Over all, food is good, but service is horrible. Not worth.

FOOD– Solid. I thoroughly enjoy hot pot, especially Little Sheep Mongolian. The yin-yang option is the way to go if you have people in your party who like spicy and non-spicy. My favorite orders are the crown daisy(tung ho) and lamb meat. SERVICE– Atrocious. First off, they don’t take reservations which is fine but something to take note of. Secondly, we waited well over an hour and when a table for our party of eight was available, one of the burners was out of commission. Third, while we were fine cooking with only one burner, one of the waitresses would not allow our party to order more food. Her exact words were that we already had a ton of food on our table and that we should not be wasteful. Let me clarify that our party can eat a hell of a lot more than your regular customer. That and the fact that we had a lot of food on our table because we only had one operating burner. So it was as if they were restricting the all you can eat option which we were paying for, penalizing us for something beyond our control which they should have fixed on their end, and being extremely judgmental and unprofessional by judging how much we could what could not eat. It is not the waitress’ job to assess how much our party should or should not order; that is why they have an extra charge in place for customers who have the leftover food. Because of this, our hot pot selection came in piecemeal orders of a lots of similar items at one time. This ruined the experience of a standard hot pot meal. Not coming back to this location ever again.

Got the ying and yang which is half spicy and half non spicy herbal broth. We came on a weekday so it was ayce dinner. We got there right when they opened for dinner so we didn’t have to wait. The sauce bar was pretty awesome. I probably concocted 7 different sauces during my meal, it was fun to mix and match. This place has a good amount of variety to put in your hot pot. They give you a paper list to check off the items you want similar to a sushi place. However, they messed up the order the first round. We didn’t get two or three items that we checked off. With that being said, this was still a good experience considering the price, the variety, and modern appeal.

I came here for AYCE dinner. We had a party of 6, so it did take quite a bit of waiting time. This place is also quite busy. AYCE hot pot is perfect for this cold weather. They have a wide selection of meats and goods. They give you a pretty good serving size for meat each time you order. I think they give you 3 rounds. I’m kind of unsure about that. I really like the lamb, beef, fish tofu, and quail eggs. We ordered the yin yang hot pot and the broth was tasty. Service was decent, however, they tend to mix up orders. And dipping sauce is self-serve in the back. Overall, I enjoyed it very much. I felt extra dehydrated the next day when I woke up though.

I love places that allow you to put You Tiao(Chinese Fried Dough Stick) into the broth, especially the spicy broth. Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is one of those places. We got the ying yang pot, which was half regular broth and half spicy. Both are herbal and good, but I’m usually in the mood for spicy. We had the lamb and the beef and they were delicious. My favorites ranged from the Fish Balls with Roe to the quail eggs. Can’t really go wrong here with your choices. I absolutely loved mixing my own sauces at their sauce bar too! Service was excellent here and we came with a Groupon deal– they were more than accommodating even though we were the last ones to finish.

What do you call a sheep with a machine gun? A b-aa-aa-aa-aa-d situation. My Kryptonite I could eat hot pot EVERY single day of my life and still be content with my obese self. Friends have defriended me for this obsession to cook my own food around a table. Every time someone asks,“What shall we eat?” One of my suggestions is always some short of shabu shabu. Restaurants don’t know this but I bottle their mouth water pork broth elixir in a nalgene bottle and drink it at work the next day and when I’m working out on the treadmill. Ahhh. That Sa-Cha Sauce Though… Whatever you may call it, satay sauce, chinese bbq sauce, or sa-cha sauce enriches everything it touches. I want a swimming pool of it so I can jump off a diving board like Scrooge McDuck in his money every morning. Basking in the ambiance…

I enjoyed it despite the crumby reviews. I had a Groupon that took $ 20 off. Parking in this plaza sucks balls. Service was really good. No wait and food came out quick. Prices are on the high side but you get a ton of food. Yin-Yang — $ 3.75 per person. You get to try both styles of broth they offer, Original was kind of salty and spicy had to many peppers in it. I had to scoop out all the peppers because I got so annoyed. But both broths were very good. Beef and Lamb Combo — $ 10.95 — You get a ton of meat. Can feed 4 people. Very fresh. Veggie Combo Platter — $ 8.95 — Not really veggie but more salad platter. It was like 90% greens. Fresh Calamari, small — $ 3.75 — Big chunks, My favorite thing I had. Fried Fish Cake, small — $ 3.25 — Not my favorite. Tasted like fake meat. Soft Tofu, small — $ 1.75 — Good but kept falling apart in the soup. I should have got fried. Quail Egg, small — $ 2.25 — Yum! Do not over cook or the yolk will get dry and pasty! Rice — $ 1 — Much needed with this! Sauce bar has a ton of stuff. Sweet Soy Garlic mixed with the chili sauce was my favorite combo. Did not like the House Sesame at all.

I’ve always been a huge fan of hotpot and so I was excited to try this location. Overall, it did its job of fulfilling our hotpot cravings, but much was left to be desired in the actual broth. We got the ‘yinyang’ flavored broth with half spicy(medium spicy) and half non-spicy. The broth was lacking in the flavoring, it needed more of that spice(麻辣味) from the tiny little balls usually present in a lot of hotpot/Sichuan soup foods. It’s like they forgot to put in a bunch of seasoning ingredients. And once they came to refill the SPICY broth with what seemed like NON-SPICY broth, it was over – I think it took whatever flavor was left out of it. :(In fact, thank god for the sauce bar because that was what saved my meal. With that being said, I like the sauce bar where we can mix our own sauces, LOVE adding the sesame paste to my sauce. If it wasn’t for this, my meal woulda sucked@. Ambience was nice, dining area looked nice but service could’ve been better. We had to flag them down for everything but bottom line, I wish the broth didn’t just taste like water mixed with hot pepper and had more flavor to it. I also wished they provided bigger nets to boil the noodles with. 2.5 stars rounded up.

First time been to this location, this place is huge and open. Chose to sit by the windows, it was perfect to have some delcioous hot pot on a cold rainy day. It was sister’s first time to try little sheep Mongolian hot pot, she likes spicy sometimes, so we had half and half soup base, one side was spicy meat soup base, one side was mushroom vegetarian for me. They were not allowed to dip meat in my side of soup base of course! We ordered our usual choices like USDA choice ribeye, prime ribeye, tiger shrimps, surf clams, fish dumplings and veggie combo. Bitter melon salad, edamame and fried & steamed rolls as sides. Bitter melon salad was too sweet, no bitter flavor at all, edamame was very flavorful and tasty. The prime ribeye was bomb, melted in the mouth right away according to hubby and sister. I loved tiger shrimps, surf clams were impossible to chew, I have to remember never order that again. We had two large Sapporo and lychee cold sake, they were great with our delicious food. The service was slow, they didn’t have enough servers I think, but again the service is never good at any Little Sheep Mongolian hot pot locations, just be patient with them I guess. They have promotion these days, we spent $ 125 got four $ 5 cash cards, guess we will be back real soon to use them all.
