As I sit here at Butter, I need to let you know, the server Areen, was over the top accommodating and helpful. It was my first time here, and she was so gracious in describing the breakfast items and the favorites customers order most frequently. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, and made perfectly! The potatoes were also delicious and crispy. The bakery items looked amazing, I had the Almond Croissant! I went to heaven and fortunately back so I can come back here again and again and again. Areen was very kind and helpful bringing me my 2nd cup of coffee(which is delicious as well) and the goodies to go in it. Over and beyond I say. So yes I highly recommend Butter when in the LaVerne area. Now that my grandson will be going to Damien I will be coming here.

We went for breakfast. Half an hour later we hadn’t received our food. We checked on our order and found out the number they had given us was different than what they had recorded. They didn’t offer us anything for the screw up and long wait. The food isn’t worth the high prices. We ordered basic coffee and there’s no refills. Our breakfast for two was $ 32(two entrees, two pastries and two coffees). I would rather pay that much at a restaurant with coffee refills and better service. The pastries weren’t very fresh. Won’t be dining in again.

At last. In a land practically devoid of true culinary artistry, Inland Empire is finally starting to have real potential. It is exciting when someone with«real talent and training» seizes an opportunity to open a restaurant/bakery, especially when it is somewhat close to my neighborhood. I feel humbled. I also feel that our two visits will not be enough. The 5-star dishes that left me wanting more included… *Mac n Cheese. No mousy cheese sauce here. Rich with sharp cheddar, it was combined with generous amounts of delicious bacon chunks and a delicate touch of herb, then baked with a light crumb topping. Beyond memorable, this is my kind of «real» cheesy mac. *Brisket sandwich. The meat was very moist and tender, topped with a wonderful caramelized onion concoction, then finished with melty Provolone on a french roll. We should have skipped the side of tater tots, yuck, but thankfully discovered on our second visit that the french fries were far better. This sandwich is easily going to become one of our«hands down» favorites. *Mushroom burger, a really good one that will put joy in your step. Everything about this American classic was so right. *BLT with(easily, maybe more) 5 strips of thick yet crisp bacon. Their smoked bacon is very special. I will have a really tough time passing this by in the future. And from the bakery case, so many choices that speak volumes about labors of love… and butter… *Vegetable galette, a flaky base simply topped with sweet cherry tomatoes, Gruyère cheese, and spinach. Way too delicious to eat just one! So we brought another home. *Chocolate croissant, the same beautiful flaky pastry, generously(and I emphasize generously) filled with a good quality, semi sweet chocolate. I have not felt this happy about chocolate croissants in a long, long time. Indulge. On the other hand, the Prosciutto and Gruyère croissant I found to be too greasy and heavy, but the ingredients were generous and good quality. And after tasting the mini Carrot Cake, while moist and full of great ingredients, we decided we have had better, mostly because the cream cheese frosting seemed on the«lite» side. Note: There is a special Brunch menu for the weekends. Ahhh, Butter. It has become perfectly clear to us that this hipster café is more than a one-shot wonder. Welcome, Butter Café, to the top of the list of my special brunch/lunch places.

Great service. The turkey ham sandwiches are delicious and definitively opt for the tator tots. The cookies and coffee are a must so save room for dessert. Prices are a little more than I tend to pay for this sort of food, but considering the service and the fact that they make things when you order them it’s okay. Ask about the WiFi!

I could not say too bad here, just didn’t catch me, when I came in first time. At least better than fast food. However, the food not much choice, but more choice than Starbucks . So got sandwich, Starbucks got coffee.

I had high hopes for this place based on some of the reviews but, I was disappointed. First, the menu on the wall has extremely small lettering. The cashier saw me struggling to read it and didn’t even bother to offer me a menu which came in two separate parts. Really!!! Second, I ordered the brisket sandwich which as soon as I received, I could tell it was going to be a hard bite, so I got up and asked for a cutting knife, the girl, which by the end of my meal, I found out her name was Britney, ignored me for a while then finally responded that the sharpest knifes they had were butter knifes! Ok. So, I sit again, attempt to cut this massive glob of beef, fail, take a bite, and immediately tasted, chewy, oil soaked, burnt tasting meat. Yuck! Britney, happens to be passing by, I asked her what I could do to switch my sandwich? She gave me a look of confusion, then replies, «what’s wrong with it?» I then tell her my thoughts, she asked if I wanted a different sandwich. I replied yes, she then says ok, and walks away with my plate. I sat there for a good 10 minutes wondering if I should get up and order a new sandwich or if she was going to be back with a menu, or if anyone was going to do anything at all! She’s sees me looking around for her, yet ignores me all along! I finally make a line again and explain to the cashier the issue. I asked for my money back at this point. Yuck! The service sucks. Third, they have no ranch! Really??? No ranch, no cutting knifes, you have to get up and make a line to even get anything else, they all looked bewildered. To top it off, the cashier comes to my table to tell me that«they assumed» I would already know, you can’t get refunds and if I’m not happy with a meal, that I needed to go stand in line again! Wow! First time and last time. Only good thing was the tater tots and the Asian man who offered us water when we first sat down. By the way, Britney, seemed to enjoy that we didn’t enjoy our meal. Thanks Britney. Please learn customer service skills if you’re going to continue to work in the food industry.

You know the saying, «you can never have too much Butter(Café)». But seriously, Butter Café is quite delicious! My favorites so far are the Chicken Artichoke Sandwich and the blueberry muffin French toast. Both are incredible. Their butter special burger and omelettes are pretty good choices as well. On a more serious note though, YOU must try their desserts, particularly the Oreo cookie… it is beyond amazing! It’s a nice little café with solid service and great food. Definitely worth a try.

Parking: huge lot This place is a order and then sit down kinda joint. Food: the menu is up on the wall, no refills on coffee unless you want a 50 cent refill. Ordered the breakfast burrito, pancakes and an egg dish. The cashier was a bit rude which was why I’m downgrading the points. The waiter man running around helping people was really nice though. The good was decent, a normal breakfast place. My burrito was massive! It had eggs potatoes, black beans and loads of avocado. It came with pico de gallo and sour cream. Not sure if I’ll come back again, place was just alright and it was REALLYLOUD.

Love Butter. From the service, to the owner stopping by, to the excellent food, it’s our go-to Sunday brunch spot now. Green eggs and ham — prosciutto, pesto, over easy eggs over baguette. Sopped up every last bite. Waffle — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Delish! Tator Tots — Yea, I said tator tots. Addictive. Can’t wait to head back out there to try something else. One of these days I’ll give in to one of those thick chocolate cake slices!

The food is tasty here, and the coffee is amazing! I originally went in for their waffles but their machine broke after I had already made my order, so that was upsetting. They ended up giving me some blueberry French toast, and I was okay with that because it was delicious. Will be coming back :)

This place was absolutely amazing. I came with my best friend and her family since we’re headed more north. I had the waffle with strawberries and it was filling and so yummy! The service and owner was so dedicated and caring to us customers. I really hope they come out with one down south in OC area!!! Thank you guys!!!

My first time here wasn’t incredibly memorable, but not bad though. Just didn’t really catch me; this time didn’t really do it for me either. I’m not a picky person, I appreciate food, but lack of flavor is what gets me. The chicken artichoke spinach sandwich didn’t really have any flavor. It’s really plain. Individually everything was decent though. The chicken plain but well cooked, artichokes good but not much there and the red bell peppers added nothing to the taste. Good soft baguette though. The best thing on the dish was the tater tots. Haha really crispy, not like you’d get from a fast food place. The free with check in Oreo cookie cookie and the oatmeal raisin cookie was actually tasty. They were chewie and I’d come back for that. Really average plain restaurant.

Good service, but a bit pricey and the pastries I ordered were just okay; nothing to write home about. Their iced latte was strong, but good. If I return, I’ll make sure to try a breakfast or lunch item that isn’t a pastry.

Service was good. We came in and tried the brisket sandwich it was a bit under seasoned. The tots were good. I ordered the turkey Cobb salad I liked the bacon very much, it was a thicker cut and it was yummy. Loved the blue cheese crumbles too. The dressing was just ok. I wish they would use fresher turkey like a roasted bird would take this dish to another leval and be yummier, the turkey they used seemed like cubed deli meat not my fave. I used my check in and got a delicious chocolate chip cookie. I would definitely give this place another try and check out the other items they’ve got listed.

literally everything we ate and drank was phenomenal. Nova lox was the best one I’ve ever had. Rose nitro brew is my new true love. Strawberry topped waffle is the breakfast dreams are made of. everyone here was super nice, well groomed and quick. I love the minimalist atmosphere. Although I don’t usually trust places that don’t have any art on the walls.(Is it some kind of prison?!) you tend to focus on your food and company more. Definitely coming back!!! So we came back and were disappointed by the service. A lot. I’ll give them a third try but only because the lox is so good. Bad service really puts a bitter taste in your mouth though.

Butter was the perfect way for us to spend Easter brunch! We ordered the blueberry Butter special(I think it was the French toast?) with fresh cream and strawberries. It was quite dense but not too sweet, but also not the most amazing sweet breakfast item I had. My boyfriend got the brisket sandwich which he really liked. But above all, the prosciutto and gruyère croissant stole the show. We asked for it heated(I think that’s the only way it should be consumed) and it blew our socks off. Too bad my boyfriend gobbled everything up before I got to take my second bite! The check in deal for a free cookie is my favorite check in deal of all restaurants. The chocolate chip and Oreo cookies are both on point. Although this is one of those«order at the counter and grab a number» type restaurants, servers do come around and check up on you. Which is great, until they stop. I had to get up multiple times to ask for refills on our waters once our server, who I think was the owner, was chatting it up with another customer and stopped making his rounds. They should just have a water dispenser out in the public area, no? The inside is chic and fresh, with lots of natural lighting and perfect for insta-worthy photos. Perfect for big groups too! I will be back for more of their savory items!

I do like this place, but it is a bit too pricey. Their menu items are unique and I especially enjoyed the bagel bombs. However, $ 4 for a mini bagel ball stuffed with some cream cheese and chives is a little high on the price. My oatmeal only came with maybe a total of 3 sliced up strawberries, which was a little disappointing(Not enough to have fruit in every bite!). Their plates look fantastic, which is good. I’d definitely be back more if it were a little more affordable.

Ingredients are fresh.(I think the price is reasonable since they use fresh.) I’ve had salads, omelette, pastry, and coffee. Maybe coffee is not the best in San Dimas since there is a great coffee play in 2 miles. But all the food taste good. And this place is the ONLY option to eat healthy in San Dimas.(Is there any other.?) People are friendly and careful. Bright interior. I have nothing to complain about.

Ordered a cold brew and croissant. Nothing special and overpriced. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here. I haven’t tried anything else because the prices make me want to stay away. I’ll go back and order something more substantial next time to give a better review. But so far I’m unimpressed.

Lots of potential. Came here for a late Sunday lunch. Got the ahi burger with fries $ 1.95, the roasted veggie sandwich &8.95, and a host of pastries including the s’mores bar, a cinammon roll, and a Oreo-cookie cookie. The ahi burger was good and the kick from the fresh black pepper was really prominent in a good way. The veggie sandwich was excellent and I particularly liked how the roasted veggies blended with the flavor of the smooth white cheese. We enjoyed our meal and by the far the best part was the Oreo-cookie cookie.
