I love this Vons it has always been the best one in my opinion. They have a wide variety of literally everything, it’s always super clean and easy to shop around. I love their deli section they literally have the best sandwiches. Also I love the fact that they have a starbucks, it is so convenient for me to stop by to get what I need for work and get a coffee at the same time. On that note this is becoming my regular starbucks :)

One of my favorite grocery stores, they have everything. Plus their deli is delicious too.

Friendly associates. Clean! Normally where I get my produce and meat from. Always satisfied. Just annoying when young cashier use or touch their cellphone while in a transaction even if we are waiting on the computer to approve my card…

I recently moved here and live in a nearby apartment complex, so Vons is literally a minute away from me and therefore convienient. The first thing I noticed upon shopping here is that the staff is very friendly. I asked one man to help me find something and he actually offered to go get it for me with a smile. He then was kind enough to do some small talk with me and said if i needed anything else to feel free to ask him. Such a polite employee :)
I went another day and the same thing happened with a different employee. As soon as he saw me he asked me how I was doing and if I needed help finding anything.
As for the prices, I’ll admit they’re not the cheapest prices in comparison to other stores I’ve been to. It’s still convienient for me since it’s so close to my apartment, so I’ll do small grocery shopping here, but when I need a cart load of groceries I go elsewhere. Just be sure to sign up for their rewards card, as it will save you quite I bit. I went from a $ 55 trip down to $ 47 just by using my rewards card today, so it’s definitely worth it to get that card!
Overall, great place to go grocery shopping!

Came to Von’s to buy some cookies for work tomorrow which is Boss’s Day so I grabbed a box of red velvet cookies for around $ 4.50. I also grabbed a Combucha tangerine flavor drink. Yum!
They have so much to choose from and a lot of sale items. There were so many people at Von’s today. I think everyone was grabbing cakes, cookies and sweet items for Boss’s Day on Friday, October 16. If you have a Von’s card, you save a lot more money. I only had two items so I got in the 15 items or less line which still was long but went by fast. I almost forgot my drink. Good thing the cashier reminded me to get my drink or else I would have forgotten.
There’s plenty of parking in front and it’s easy to get in and out from this location!

Just had one the worst experiences at my neighborhood vons. This store is supposed to be customer service oriented, what I observed is quite the opposite. I witnessed a SUPERVISOR texted and checking people out at the SAME time??? When I told him that it was rude to do both he said «as long as the line does not get backed up he can do that». What does this say about the management team? Get your act together, you are in the people business, that supervisor clearly does NOT care. Sad to see, I thought they had better staff

They said we don’t have, we don’t bring it. that’s all we have here.
That’s embarrassing. No star for a store their employees not trained right.

Have an awesome flower selection ! Just picked out a arrangement for my mother :) Another awesome thing is how they have the starbucks inside the store… I’m not hating, just saying these workers are some lucky ass people to be working at this location.

This is a nice renovated Vons, but I dislike the staff Well, at least some of them. Today I had a checker that was very rude to me when she noticed I glanced at my phone while waiting for my payment to process. I apologized, but she just shook her head, looked away, and handed me the reciept. Instead, I was the one to say «Have a nice day» and I walked away. I prefer other Vons over this one.

I’m not sure if it’s because I usually go at night time but I can’t seem to find any workers to help me if I have a question around the store and the lady at the meat section was gone, so I had to wait for her to come back in order to get some meat.

One thing vons does that ralphs and walmart don’t. When there’s a vons employee around they always ask if you need help. But there lines are ridiculous. Ralphs better at that. I know a couple employees and there really nice. Store is clean and has ok prices.

The staff is still very friendly. I also notice they are actually doing something about the long lines. When long lines are starting to develop they now open up more registers. Thanks! They also just got done doing their remodel. This place is now a 4 stars on my book.

Typical Vons store. Store is a lot nicer since there remodel. They have expanded there selection of items such as ice cream and beer. Staff is pretty friendly. Prices are decent. Plenty of parking.

The customer service here is awesome! Everyone is very friendly and it’s never crowded. I was offered help to go to my car from them, that surprised me because I’ve never been offered help from another store. I simply love their customer service. A smile goes a long way and they always do it.

This grocery store has a habit of selling lots of expired products. For example, don’t buy any fresh dog food from their little dog food refrigerator. Everything in there was expired several months, some expired last year in September! And I just bought some guacamole that is 13 days expired. There are better grocery stores but if you find yourself in a pinch just be very careful about checking expiration dates. And I wouldn’t trust their fresh ready made food, who knows what’s expired back in the kitchen.

Like the massive selection of raw meats and seafood compared to all other Vons I have searched.
I’ve visited perhaps over 15 + different Vons and none of them ever matched up to the selection offered up on top of el Otayero river bottom.
The produce is for the most times fresh and organic but with above cost than some of the other markets. Vons is still always cheaper than Albertson’s in my mind and Ralph’s prices are armed robbery.
(This Vons is really kidding itself with the huge freezer section of over priced expired stock).
The customer service has been awful from almost every single young tweens working here on the numerous shopping visits. The mature staff have been outstanding though and love shopping in their lane even if it is backed up 8 + people in line!

This store is always stocked and clean the BEST thing that I like about this store is Brigette!!! She is AWESOME! She is professional yet very personable. Love her!

What can I say? If you prefer a less crowded, less cluttered, and generally more superb shopping experience, COME TO VONS! Shop smart and you’ll save just as much as you would at the Mega Corporation next door (a.k.a. WalMart). Here’s my top tips:
1.) Use the Vons mobile app to download «virtual coupons» and save cash at checkout! (we saved $ 2 on an already discounted 12-​pack of Shock Top beer… Mmm!)
2.) Check out Fridays for the $ 5 section ($ 5 bacon + $ 1 manufacturers coupon + $ 1 virtual coupon = $ 3 BACON. YES.)
3.) Near the mexican canned foods section, you’ll find a little product in a white bag called «Cookie Chips.» Beware: highly addicting! (best flavors: cinnamon sugar, chocolate chip, salted peanut butter).
That’s it for now. Don’t forget to try the Kombucha in the refrigerated produce section when on sale. Healthy and delicious :)

Note: If you can, go here in the MORNING or at NIGHT.
Maybe it’s just me, but every time I come here in the afternoon or evening (after most people get off work), I get bad to no customer service at all. I know I’m fully capable of looking for an item myself, but if I want to find it ASAP I’m going to ask an employee and during this time of the day they usually seem disgruntled and annoyed by my presence.
BUT in the morning and at night, oh man… it becomes the antipode! As I walk past employees they’re smiling and asking if I need help locating anything. If I’m around the fruits/​vegetables, they’re letting me know what’s on special… it’s crazy.
ALSO, if you’re a Wells Fargo customer, they have a branch inside with 3 ATM’s.
